I love this pitcher! It is the best for making cold brew coffee and tea with different infuse fruit &, spices. It's very easy to use and clean. Excellent filter and easy to clean our. When making cold brew coffee. There's a cap on the end of the filter that unscrew to empty out the used coffee ground or tea leaves and or infused items. It's very strong and durable. It's easy to clean up after each use. The container is a strong glass surrounded by some type of plastic/ palmer. Very good price. I'm so happy I bought it.
I do not normally write reviews but couldn't let this one go, First it was my bad for not opening and using coffee maker right away but I did't need it right then, after finally opening and setting up, we noticed that it was leaking when pouring coffee, couldn't figure out why then noticed after a few uses that the top was not sealed properly, we tried to press down to seal better and the whole top came off, as I didn't use right away my days to return we over (again my bad for not using right away) now we have a coffee maker with no pot LOL 2: The coffee maker hot plate does not stay on after brewing to keep coffee hot, even if I had a pot it doesn't stay hot so again this coffee maker is a huge waste of money and we paid the extra so we could have a stainless coffee pot and not a glass one
Cute as a button. I love it. Just right for one person. Comes with extra sieve that I'll probably never need. Scoop included too. Value for money. Happy me.
After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase the ESPRO P7 French Press. I did this for several reasons: 1. It's insulated stainless steel and not GLASS. This was important to us because while glass is pretty, it is also fragile and we would likely accidentally break a glass french press within months, 2. The reusable double filtration system on this French Press practically eliminates any grinds ending up in your cup of coffee. The system is simple to clean and also highly effective. 3. Dishwasher safe. After you brew, simply scrape out the grinds into the compost or trash bin and then give it a quick rinse and toss the carafe and plunger in the dishwasher. 4. Size. This french press is large enough to make 32oz of coffee per brew. This allows enough for me and my wife to share. The insulated stainless keeps the brew warm long enough that we can each have a cup when we are ready in the morning.
I have spent hours looking at different french presses. The glass ones have a reputation for breaking, so that sent me looking at stainless steel models. I finally decided on this one after reading many great reviews. However, For every highly rated item, there are a few bad reviews. One of the reported problems with this model is the fact that is passes grounds. Well, it happened to me as well. It's not because I filled it too full. It is because the inside of the press is actually slightly out of round! I included a photograph to show this. If you look at the gap between the plunger and the press wall, you can see a portion of it where the filter screen cannot contact the press wall because of the out of roundness. Move 90 degrees around the circumference of the press wall and it is a very close fit. The plunger is in straight (see below), and is perpendicular to the press wall. Obviously, not all units are affected. Otherwise, everyone would be complaining. Additionally, the plunger stem is bent at the threads (see photo). As a result, the plunger does not sit perpendicular to the press wall. I had to disassemble it and remove the lid so I could position it properly. I suppose it could be bent back with tools, but I am not willing to do so after paying so much for this product. It should be perfect. Yes, it's made in China. But even in China, how hard would it be to have someone make sure the plunger wall is ROUND and the plunger is STRAIGHT? Surely, if they could form the housing into a beautiful shape and polish it to a brilliant shine, they could ensure that some basic measurements are within tolerance. No, I won't be contacting Frieling. I will be returning this press and purchasing another brand. It's too bad because it really is a work of art.
The color is much lighter than the picture. Almost pinkish.
Great looking machine on the counter, easy to use, and makes good coffee. The water tank is a bit difficult to clean but not a big deal. Biggest issue was that after a year of use the glass carafe spiderwebbed at the top around the handle when I put the top lid on. Now it's unusable and I have to order a replacement carafe from Cuisinart for $50
UPDATE: 2/11/22 After 2 years our machine has started to leak. It still makes good coffee but our counter is all wet in the morning. I called the Ninja company and they offered to sell me a new one at a discount but the warranty is only 1 year. (not great) I'm going to take it apart and try to fix it. I waited a year before writing a review of our Ninja 12-Cup. This is important to make sure we had time to learn how to properly use the features as well as test the durability with daily use over the course of a year. Our last machine was a fairly expensive Krups coffee/espresso machine and there were many problems with it. I found myself often asking, "did they ever actually try this machine before they put it on the market?" This Ninja machine is very well designed. It's as if the engineers were actually using the product as they designed it! For one, the carafe pours perfectly. (Our old machine would drip every time we poured a cup.) Also, we love rich, dark coffee and this machine does it really well. I also love the external water tank. This allows you to fill the reservoir without using the carafe that may have residual coffee in it. (keeps the internal works much cleaner) The hot plate keeps the coffee just right and it even has an auto shutoff after two hours. (I've forgotten to shut it off on our old machine and had some really burned coffee stains on the pot) Finally, I never thought that we'd use the automatic timer/brew start. But now we use it pretty much every day. It's so easy and logical to set and it's so nice to wake up to fresh brewing coffee early in the morning! Note: I will add the caveat that I keep all of our household appliances clean and dry. It's never good for any machine to be left wet day after day. I also clean the hot plate if it gets dripped on, etc. This has always worked well for us and makes most appliances last for many years. Well done Ninja!
Apparently Keurig's quality control has gone downhill. I ordered a replacement for my B130 Keurig that quit after 4 years of service. Keurig had discontinued that model and I had to replace it with this one. It ran about 4 months and would brew 8 oz. of coffee when 12 oz was selected. They replaced it under warranty. The replacement arrived with a bad screen but getting it replaced was a hassle. Kuerig's customer service has gone downhill too. Now the replacement for the replacement has failed with an "overpressure" error and will not brew coffee. I called customer service only to be told I had to call another number. Then I was told I had to call their commercial division technical support. I got voicemail that said they would call me back within 48 hours. I was on the phone with them for nearly an hour talking to three representatives, getting cut off once and only to get to voicemail. So hence, Keurig customer service is "no service".
My Keurig showed up in a Farberware Coffee Maker box. Keurig was wrapped in a bag and had water all over it. We'll see if it works, not impressed so far.
During the summer, I love an iced cold brew, coffee, and being able to make it on my own, has saved me mucho $$$$$. This makes a large batch that serves me for five days. It’s easy to clean and store well n refrigerator.
Me gusto es muy linda tiene todo lo que necesito para hacer café en casa y me gusto el vaso de regalo 🎁 le recomiendo comprar esta belleza de cafetera 🙃😄😄😄
I am so incredibly in love with this brewing system. I don't even know how I got through my life without it. The filter for the water tank is really easy to install and change. I wish there was an option for a 14oz cup but, I suppose I should go ahead and buy a carafe. I do love this Keurig. In less than a minute I can have a hot cup of coffee. LESS THAN A MINUTE. Do you know how wonderful that is for a mother of three? The varieties of coffees and teas available for this system is amazing. It is so easy to use and so quick. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
Very nice looking coffee maker. In order to keep the coffee maker from rocking, needed a 1/16 in shim. I will find out how the coffee tastes tomorrow morning. Cheers OK Brewed a couple pots of coffee and for the cost not overwhelmed with the results. Seems like the brewed coffee is just a bit cooler than a $39 Mr Coffee and for the money spent you would think a nice hot cup of coffee is possible. Not impressed with this product
Bought this for my husband because his espresso machine broke and he’s used to making his own coffees at home. When I say this man loves espresso..he’ll brew a double espresso a good 4 times a day if not more. I came across this and love that he can brew a little pitcher of espresso that he can chill and use throughout the day instead of having to brew it and chill it multiple times a day. He’s obsessed with it already and will probably get rid of his old espresso machine at this point. The only thing I don’t like is that it sometimes it leaks a little water out into the tray while brewing. We’ve followed the instructions to a T, so not sure what makes it happen, but it’s only a minor inconvenience it seems like.
