I bought the same coffee maker 2 years ago at Target and I've been very happy with it... until the carafe cracked a couple of days ago. I saw this same coffee maker on coffeemakers.us.com but with a stainless steel carafe, which I was excited about because I don't want to break another one. I couldn't find the carafe alone so I bought the whole darned coffee maker and figured I wouldn't mind a new fresh machine anyway. Imagine my dismay when I unwrapped it this evening to find the metal finish on the front of the machine was dirty. Only it's not dirty, it's a badly tarnished wipe mark that will not come off. I set the brand new coffee maker (on the left in photos) next to my 2 year old one (right) and my old one is in much better condition. I'm just going to take the steel carafe from the new coffee maker and continue using my old one. But I have to use the lid from the old carafe because the new lid is lower and doesn't engage the spring loaded button on the filter funnel. I basically just paid $38 for a small carafe, pretty disappointing. Another side note, the stainless steel carafe in the product photo has a black (maybe plastic or rubberized) trim around the top. In actuality, the steel runs all the way to the top and it's very sharp. I just cut my hand twice washing it.] Update: I've used the carafe a couple of times. I don't know if it sits hotter than the glass carafe but it sounds like my coffee is boiling. Also, I'm having a hard time scrubbing the inside of the carafe without cutting my hand. I'm just going to return the darned thing.

  • Pump Stopped Working // Prior Model was AMAZING I have used this coffee pot from end of May to early Aug. The pump stopped working today. Honestly, this coffee maker has been horrible since it arrived. It has leaked a few time. It's not easy to clean. It's kind of a pain. I was looking forward to setting this up for my coffee routine... The setup isn't easy but you can figure it out with the directions. I did this as a treat for myself and ended up getting frustrated instead. Bummer. I loved the prior model that didn't have a pump and didn't have a glass holding area. I used it for many many years. I actually donated it because I was moving and didn't want to pack it up. I spent a lot of money on this and am totally disappointed. _______________________________________________________ FIRST REVIEW I was excited to get this coffee maker because I had the past model. It almost completely different. Pros >> I do like the fact that the coffee is stored in glass. >> You can program to brew in the AM and it works. >> Looks nice. >> Doesn't drip. Cons >> I don't like that the coffee isn't warm & is kinda cold when put on the warmer. The other one was way better. I may return it because of this.... Main reason I loved this coffee maker. << Trying again to see if it was me/user error. >> There is a pump the dispenses the coffee. The old was was gravity feed and didn't need a pump. >> Wondering how long this pump will actually last. >> Pump to get coffee into your cup is kinda loud. If you are trying to be quiet in the AM and get a cup of coffee, you can't. >> You need to read the instruction in order to use this & they are a little confusing. >> Doesn't come with a reusable filter as shown in the directions. Nor does it tell you which ones to buy in the instructions. >> Complicated to clean unlike the old model. >> The flavor from the past machine was a little bit better. Debating if I will keep it. I really wanted to love it. Will try it a few more times & see.

I purchased this grinder (Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Electric Coffee Grinder) , buy my grounds at Costco and I'm loving this thing. I then purchased bottles. I use these labels (https://www.coffeemakers.us.com.com/gp/product/B07Z3VN9KS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the marker to keep track of when I brewed the coffee that is in it and when I last brewed what is in the brewer. The fact that I can just erase the last date and write in a new one without having to put on a new label is EXACTLY what I wanted and this does the job perfectly. I love the brewer but suggest you get the 4 year warranty, it is glass and mistakes can happen. :) Happy Brewing.

  • This is a very compact EXCELLENT coffee maker that pack a punch! I was surprised at how good & strong my cup of coffee tasted - & this was with generic ground coffee. Very easy to use. Comes with a convenient ground coffee filter (which I used) as well as a K-Cup filter. To clean up I found that unplugging, putting the entire thing in the sink, and THEN removing the filter works best. Turn the tap water on to wash the filter & base. Love this Horavie Single Serve Coffee Maker!!

We have not even had this coffee maker for 6 months now and it already doesn't work. Display screen is all messed up. Sometimes nothing at all sometimes pixilated. Can't return it as returns end 1 month later. So it seems like we are stuck with something we can use :-( Very disappointed

  • I use the reusable pods, which I purchased separately, and the coffee maker has worked perfectly every time. It takes up minimal space on the counter and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It only takes a few minutes to brew a cup, and cleanup is easy with a quick wipe down. Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of this coffee maker and will definitely recommend.

I am hooked on cold brew. Typically I was buying it premade from the grocery store because it’s cheaper than a coffee house, but it’s still expensive compared to buying it at home. I was also limited to brands, which is fine, but variety is the spice of life. I wanted to brew at home, but I know me, and 24 hours of steeping a cold brew concentrate would easily turn into 96 hours and moldy grounds, so that wasn’t going to work. I got this a couple days ago and started using it right away. The coffee is nice, with low acidity and great flavor. If I’m drinking immediately, I like a medium brew of a dark roast, but if I’m planning ahead (haha, in my dreams) I can save money by brewing an extra bold concentrate in 25 minutes instead of 24 hours. It’s like magic! Then just swap out the lids and put the whole carafe in the fridge, saving me storage space and time since I’m not portioning it into jars. It does use a lot of grounds, so I certainly reccommend the concentrate method if you’re a bit of a coffee snob and your beans are pricy. 10/10 on this one.

I've had this 27 oz coffee pour over coffee maker for 18 months. I absolutely adored it in the beginning, calling it the 'cashmere of coffee'. It has had near daily use, but I am gentle on things and generally hope to use them 'forever.' I had a question early on about this seam, but the company never responded to several contacts through coffeemakers.us.com. The craft broke 6 months in, a minor bump in the stainless sink. I know things happen, but this was unduly fragile. But ok, have been using with a funnel and old pitcher for a year. In the last month, the seam of the inner lining has opened and there are now grounds between the layers, and in my coffee. I do understand wear and tear, but 18 months is short for the investment. Being glass and stainless, my expectation was years of use. Massively disappointed, and particularly with indifferent customer service.

Update 04/2020: it has unfortunately stopped working. I used it less than 10 times in the time I’ve had it since it was only for on the go & the water just flows through the bottom now. Love it! So perfect for on the go mornings. Only downside is that most of my mugs don't fit the space. Just make sure you have short mugs!

We've used french press coffee/espresso makers in the past so we thought we should give this gizmo a try. We really have fun using this amazing little press. Pocket sized but powerful, it is so easy to use. Just follow the instructions and after your first cup you'll wonder why you waited so long to order one of these. Easily cleaned after each use. Nicely machined and well-integrated. Dishwasher safe. This press has all the quality earmarks one would look for when shopping for a portable espresso making solution. Smooth, full-flavored cups of delightful espresso yummyness await you when you purchase one of these portable java powerhouses.

Box looks like it was reused from a return. Coffee maker came with scratches on the front and in the water reserve. There was no manual or any paperwork in the box. I feel like I paid full price for a used machine.

We have a lot of Ninja/Shark products. Most we love, a few we don't and some are really good! This coffee pot is really good with just a few cons. Picture 1 - Pro - We add sugar, or creamer, or whatever to teas and coffees. This unit gives you lots of room to add and stir while you're brewing. There's plenty of room. Overall Pros - It is slim, the color matches our kitchen nicely, and we freed up needed counter space. The switch from pods to grounds is very easy and the units store on the side, tucked away but very easy to switch! It has a little basket so you can avoid using those ground coffee pods! If you don't power it off, the unit goes into a low watt use mode that keeps in a sleep state but ready to brew quickly. Just pop in a pod, it comes back to life and is brewing without having to reheat from power off to on. NICE! The pop out basket units are easy to clean (I'll get to the rest of the cleaning in cons) The water reservoir holds 56 ounces. It comes off easy for cleaning and refiling. Picture 2 shows you how I avoid always taking it to the sink to refill. The gallon jug lasts 2+ refills and makes it a snap to keep it topped off (we're pretty heavy users between coffee and teas.). It has a good, deep clean cycle with a few considerations, talked about below. A couple of Cons - Pictures 4 - 6 - The black area under the basket is not easy to clean, especially where the water dispenses. You have to really get into all the nooks and crannies. Make sure to run a paper towel in to the dispensing area to get leftover grounds, when doing a quick cleanup. The deep clean mode is set to dispense 56 ounces during the process, which takes quite a lot of time for it to run. On the counter, I cannot easily fit a container for the 56 ounces. Instead, I set a 32 ounce travel mug that fits nicely. Usually, between 24 and 30 ounces it is very clean so I power down. If it is not, the cycle runs slow enough I have time to empty the cup before the next dispensing cycle. Overall, I can recommend this product. We thought it was a little flimsy at first but it is holding up well as this review was delayed so we could really put it through the paces. It is a fair value with lots of convenience and style. Just a few challenges away from 5 stars!

  • The glass cracked the first time I ran it through a dishwasher. I've had several glass presses and this is the first one that broke in the washer so I'm not sure what's different about this one. It also has a weirdly shaped spout causing it to drip and spill unless you put the spout directly on the rim of whatever you're pouring into.
