  • Love the flexibility of this Keurig, sometimes you just want a cup and other times a pot. Also love the larger reservoir! I also love the new slim design and clean look, it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. Here's the warning (& the reason I didn't give it 5 stars): It's easy to make a pot and forget to check/empty it before brewing the next one which causes an overflow... the 1st week of owning this we had 3 different people unintentionally overflow it and coffee went everywhere. The carafe is not see through so you have to get into the habit of checking it before you shove it in for a new brew. I'm in the process of making a magnet for pot full/empty to put on the carafe. Also to brew you need to push 4 separate buttons - the 'on' button, the 'cup' button, the '12oz' button, and the 'brew' button... boo. Having said all that, overall I am a fan of the unit and would recommend it!

  • Absolutely do not buy product from this company!! I purchased an electric coffee pot from them in December 2024 with a one year warranty. The finish is now wearing off on the heating pad, the bare metal is appearing and no customer service is to be found. The contact info coffeemakers.us.com gave me goes no where, I am unable to find any way of contacting this company and I am stuck with a defective product!

Purchased 1/7/2024 falling apart 3/7/2024. Gently and properly used 3 to 5 times a week, never moved. Just another coffeemakers.us.com low quality rip off.

We absolutely love our french press. My husband used an electric coffee maker for years but I talked him into trying a french press. We ordered this one for Christmas and there's no turning back. We love it so much. No need for the electric machine now!

I spent a lot of time, really many months, reviewing video and text reviews of this coffee maker before I finally plunked down the $300 to buy it. I was a bit skeptical at first, knowing that there were several systems out there that did just about the same thing and were even designed somewhat in the same fashion. Some of them even had a similar appearance and form, but did not garner the same percentage of positive reviews that this unit did. I must admit that I did not try any of the other systems before making this purchase but had previously owned a simple Braun drip coffee maker that had lasted 15 years and had (I thought) made a really good cup of coffee. Buying this unit and having coffee from it has completely changed my perspective on what a real coffee maker is and how good the same coffee can taste from a different and very well-made system. First off, the quality of the parts used on this machine are second to none. It is very well put together and the plastic parts seem very high-grade. It is definitely a very simple machine, even having a manual drip basket shut off switch when other cheaper models have a valve that shuts off the drip basket when the carafe is pulled. The only drawback with this is that if you forget to re-open the valve while the machine is still brewing, the basket may overflow. Also, the plastic platform that the basket sits upon seems a bit flimsy but is actually quite sturdy. And most importantly, it is made to be easily cleaned with full access to all components. The metal shower bar at the top Is easily removed and the water reservoir has a very wide opening. As you can see from one of the pictures I’ve posted, the temperature of the water coming into the coffee is easily above 205° which produces a “blooming“ of the coffee grounds and really allows full extraction of all the wonderful flavors and oils that are in the coffee. This is truly a unique coffee experience for me, as I’ve been a coffee snob For over 30 years. Please, I implore you to watch review videos of machine comparisons and coffee taste testing between systems. In each and every one, the moccamaster technivorm always wins In the taste category. So if you are serious about getting the most flavor out of your expensive drip coffee, this machine is definitely for you. All of those automatic brew systems with self timing, “dial-in-your-strength”, digital features are nice and convenient but probably don’t even come close to maximizing the quality of Taste from your Jamaican blue Mountain Coffee. Of course, there are just a couple of nitpick items that I have to complain about. First, the carafe outlet is not optimal for pouring, but with a bit of learning how to pour from it, it’s a non-issue. Another small issue I have is that the particular model that I have has a plastic carafe platform at the bottom of the machine that detaches whenever the unit is moved and is tricky to get back into its grooves. A minor annoyance.

  • Unable to review as it came completely shattered. The only salvage-able part was a metal filter top part but without the base basically useless…

Horrible. 3 weeks old and this happened. Going back to Keurig. Similar functions, larger tank, easier filling, and $100 less!

I did a lot of checking and I have own alot of coffeemakers so I consider myself very knowledgeable with coffeemakers and reliability and if they get the coffee hot enough. When I owned a machine shop I always provided employees with coffee made with Bunn coffeemakers and when I closed my shop I sold my equipment including my Bunns bad mistake. I have owned Mr.Coffee which make an average cup but most units fail within two years, owned several Bunn coffeemakers you can buy a the department store such as Walmart and they seem to only last a year and my son has a Saeco Automatic which makes great hot coffee which he has never had a problem with but many people have. So I went with the Bunn VP17-1SS and than I purchased from The WEBstaurant Store the Zojirushi 1.9 Liter Deluxe Thermal Carafe - Black Lid (Bunn 36029.0001) which will fit underneath this unit and will the coffee will drip into the Carafe with no problem (just make sure when you use KEEP THE WARMING BURNER OFF)! Bunn makes a Commercial BUNN VPR-TC 12-Cup Pourover Thermal Carafe Coffee Brewer sold at coffeemakers.us.com for $288 plus you need to buy the carafe which is another $70. Do not understand why you pay more for a machine that is identical except it has no warming plate, but the VP17 and just switch the plate off. This unit beats those K-cups hands down, have you ever priced a single serving k-cup? You can make a perfect pot of coffee with this machine for the same coast as a k-cup. I find my best value for a pot of coffee comes when I purchase Costco 100% Colombian Dark Roast Fine Grind and I measure out 1.75 ounces or 50 grams. On the weekends will splurge and used fresh roasted beans from a nearby roaster and I will grind them fine and use the same weight. Starbuck coffee I find you need to grind medium or better yet have them grind it but you need to use around 3-3.5 ounces. In the evening I drain any remaining still hot coffee from my thermal and using the Bunn fill it water hot water, in the morning I take the hot water pour it into our coffee cups to warm them up, drain the thermal carafe, and make a fresh pot using the above method. Usually all can be done in less than 5 minutes. But believe me you can then take those hot mugs add cold cream than your freshly made coffee and your coffee will be hotter and better than any restaurant. Just think for the price of one cup of coffee at any restaurant you made a big 12 cup of coffee for almost half the price. If you decide to use Glass carafes and you have a Gordon Food Service near you they sell commercial coffee carafe for the lowest price.

Use drip coffee makers and were happy with them, but in the name of progress we switched to a pod system. I regret the pod system, due to little to no control over my coffee strength and taste. Add that to zero recycling and I have a expensive pod system which is below my expectations. It reminds me of a fast food restaurant, convenience over quality. Simply said, I'm a coffee snob. I love this coffee maker and think you will too if you love a quality cup of coffee.

  • We owned our first one of this exact machine for over 10 years. It just recently started sounding loud but worked just fine still. We decided to replace it and couldn’t decide on a color. I have photographed two colors, Titan and Graphite for others to see the difference. Graphite is the shiny one (slightly darker grey than Titan also) and Titan is matte. Titan matches really well with our stainless steel appliances. Hope this helps!

  • Coffee is always ready, no more getting a cup and going to the frig for water

I used to buy Starbucks every day before I purchased this machine. I love how compact, durable, easy to use, and quality of the espresso. There are adjustable settings for each cup which is perfect for matching everyone’s taste. If your machine leaks it’s most likely due to the water tank not being properly placed.

The shipping box was fine but when I opened the product box to take the machine out, immediately these plastic pieces dropped out of the box. Not sure if this has been used or what but it had exposed wires where the plastic crumbs were. Sending it back. I guess you really get what you pay for, cheap plastic or maybe a used item?

I was sooo skeptical about this because of the reviews. However, it was around $12.00-13.00 so I said what the hell- I’ll buy a cheap one to start out and see if I even like the process. I am in LOVE with it. These pictures are after my first use - washed out & prepped for the 2nd use. No scratches, no coffee grounds stuck in places there shouldn’t be, no cracks or broken pieces. This cold brewer comes with a lid for your initial storage period of about 12-24 hours and then the lid with the press that you keep in the reminder of the time it’s in the fridge. So easy guys! When pulling the lid off the first time it was SO tight I was nervous that it wouldn’t work well. After it had been in the fridge and was time to press I was nervous that it would be hard to push down and make a mess however it slid down like butter, so if you struggle at first don’t worry! I just used regular ground coffee bought from our local grocery store and there was not a single coffee ground in my coffee. You do have to use quite a bit of coffee if you’re filling the entire thing up with water but it does average out of you think about how many k-cups you use over a few days. I filled mine up the entire way both my first and second time and I got about 5-7 cups of coffee from it. This product is totally worth it for the price and I am so glad I didn’t listen to the bad comments because I think it’s wonderful, especially for 12.00! I attached pictures of the instructions because they’re placed inside the coffee maker which was frustrating at first so hopefully this helps someone else haha.
