After breaking two glass carafes in six months we bought this one. It’s easy to use & clean. Keeps coffee hot longer. We added a light scratch to align pour spout. We love it.
(Note: this was a gift, I am not a coffee person but the recipient did review and I am posting) When I began to wash it before using it, I was highly concerned about water getting trapped in the lid, as it doesn't come apart. After full disassembly, I found that the lid is completely sealed. See photo of tiny top hole. The filtration system is made with total precision. The bottom plate is formed and the upper spring plate is also formed to fit the double walled carafe exactly. The steel screen is folded and formed, to ensure no rascally coffee grounds escape into the finished coffee. The weight of this french press tells clearly this is steel. I've only had it a couple days so far, so I can't review the quality of the steel. I will update if the quality shows any low grade pitting or rusting. I won't be putting this in a diswasher, only for the fact that any insulated/folded steel should always be handwashed no matter what.
I always have major problems with my Keurig brewer, and Warranty has covered many. But what do you do while waiting for a Keurig warranty replacement? Here is the answer. You purchase an Elite Gourmet brewer, as I did. Works perfectly, makes a great steaming hot cup of coffee from grounds, and begs for more coffee. I will probably put the replacement Keurig brwer in the closet and just keep using his little monster which puts out a delicious cup of coffee everytime. A perfect and hearty cup pf your favorite coffee every time. 5 Thumbs Up for sure.
Ridiculous! Grounds some out the top of the filter and push into the lid of the pot, into the carafe and then into your cup. I prefer my coffee without the crunch. Every coffee maker seems to do this, though haven't tried $600 ones! (As if you should need to pay prices like that.) Going back to manual pour-over. UPDATE: Keeping this! Tried a pricey coffee maker and found that it produced weak coffee! The flavor of coffee produced by this Cuisinart far surpassed it - will pick out grounds and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
Long story short.. I love this coffee maker and has become my favorite kitchen tool currently, Easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me. Pretty quiet and works great. Easy to use and clean, taste has been great, Smooth and never bitter. It's 100% worth the money and more probably for the convenience it offers. Saves me some morning time. So glad I got this. It was definitely a good choice. Highly recommend it👌🏼
I finally made the switch to French Press. I found this one after reading many reviews. I ordered 34 oz. It's Easy to use, clean, sturdy, well made. I ordered Illy classico for my coffee of choice., the Rolyce Royce of coffees. I recommend this pot.
It’s simply much better than I expected. For coffee preparation, it does a pre-filtering and after a few seconds, finishes making the coffee just like baristas do. As for the capsules and the frother for cappuccino, they work wonderfully. Everything is perfectly designed in this machine. A tip: if you live at high altitudes, it's necessary to calibrate the machine for the altitude. If this is not done, a lot of steam may be generated when making coffee. The instructions can be found in the machine's manual.
I had this coffee maker in my wish list for awhile. I was hesitant after reading poor reviews of water going everywhere and no auto pause if sneaking a cup before perk complete and the left hand side fill. Wish I'd have purchased sooner!!!! Left hand side fill is not a problem at all. I refill using my right hand. Plenty of room to pour! Leaking is caused by improper placement of the brew basket. Just put it in on top of the inside flaps and viola! No leaking, auto pause works and does NOT AUTO SHUT OFF! It keeps coffee pretty hot as long as it is on, although instructions say to turn off after brew.
Screen came looking scuffed up. And the filter is super difficult to turn into the locked position. You have to grab the whole machine to get it into the right position. BUT the steam wand works well and the espresso comes out tasting good. I saw someone else’s review about it being hard to turn the espresso to the locked position and they drilled the matching into a heavy cutting board. I might try that. Overall, not bad for an affordable espresso machine. 4/24/22 Updating my review. I’ve had this for a while now and I added one more star because it has been working great and is worth the price! Makes nice lattes and I didn’t have to spend over $200. Also, I was able to clean the screen off, so looks great now. Very easy to use and to clean. Obviously, not the best machine out there but it is great for the price. I still have to grip the machine to take the espresso cup in and out of the machine, but it’s not too big of a deal.
I was very curious to test out this portable electric espresso machine because it brews espresso on the go, and the brand is familiar to me as I acquired an electric milk frother last year that worked so well, I bought one for my sister. This portable espresso machine is a good size and weight to fit into ones backpack. The cup size isn't very large so it's basically like drinking a two shots of coffee, but there are two capsules from which to choose for either coffee grounds or Nespresso pods. I chose to test it out with grounds. The water goes into the top portion and the capsule is screwed into the bottom. There are brewing options for both hot and cold water. I chose the later. After a few minutes and once the cold water is heated up to 198° F, the automatic brewing process begins. It is so imperative that one pays attention to when the espresso machine reaches the ideal temperature because if not, one will have a mess to clean up afterwards. See video. It took me several attempts to finally figure out how to use this machine properly as well as learn to stay put whilst the water is heating. Luckily, the machine is easy to clean also. The battery life is pretty decent but it will reduce significantly after several consecutive brews especially when using cold water. While it doesn't brew a lot of coffee at once, I think that it's still a good choice for a takealong espresso machine for on the road or for when one is somewhere without a convenience store in sight.
I have always had a Keurig and after a few years my first one quit working on me. I wanted the exact one but they don’t make them anymore (however coffeemakers.us.com sells them for over $250) so a friend had purchased the mini one. It just didn’t do the trick and I wanted this one but couldn’t bring my self to buy me something that nice. After having a rough year I decided to treat myself and buy it me. Now I know it’s not a true espresso machine but I can’t tell the difference! I absolutely love making my self a cup of coffee in the mornings!
Bella es mas grande de lo que pense
Best purchase!! We finally upgraded to a BUNN & I will never buy another brand again. Brew time is so quick, Coffee quality is just as good, if not better than the coffee house chains. Don't hesitate to buyy!!
Just got this coffee maker and it only makes 1/2 of what you select
I bought this last year as I started working from home due to Covid. Was spending too much money on Keurig pods and wanted a drip coffee pot. Well a year later and it's holding up fantastic - no issues at all. Sometimes it's the simple things that work the best. 100% would buy again
