Be aware. This is a 4-cup coffee maker if your cup is only 6 oz. It makes 24 oz of coffee. Apparently my husband's cup is 24 oz. He liked the flavor. The filter basket is finely meshed so no coffee grounds escaped.

Did not use myself but bought as a filler for a gift basket. From what they tell me it works fairly good and it is pretty easy to use. Doesn't make a ton of coffee at once, but that is to be expected. Good quality and materials used.

Was expecting a quality and durable coffee machine for the price. The plastic parts of the machine seem very flimsy. Upon unboxing there was a giant chip in the heating plate and the measuring spoon was broken. The coffee itself doesn’t seem substantially different than the cup of brew our $20 coffee maker produced. Over wasn’t what we were expecting.

I Love this 14 cup Braun coffee maker.... Does not leak when you pour 👍 Love the features that are programmable. Easy to follow instructions for setting the clock. Have already been through one cleaning cycle 👍. The best thing about this Braun.... It makes Great coffee 😁. Always read and follow the directions for set up and programs (if you use) . I find that All electronics 🤔 or programs can be frustrating at first... But, if you read and follow their instructions, even if you fail at first.... You can redo it. Except when it's in cleaning mode, have your spare water pitcher handy. Makes it easier to finish the job. I especially love the look and style of the Braun coffee maker. I use the reusable filter it came with and love it. No more paper filters. Most of All 😁 I have extra coffee for my afternoon break 😂 without brewing another pot. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely purchase another one in time when needed.

Do not buy this product! This company has gone out of business and you will not be able to have any warranty issues fixed. I bought this product after several friends raved about it. The coffeepot lid though did not seal tightly and it constantly leaks. The lid tab is supposed to line up with the handle but photo one shows how much it misaligned after only a few weeks of use. Photo two shows the misalignment after six months of use. To easily pour the coffee you have to press the lid tab to the handle and pour. I have arthritis and now find it difficult to pour because the lid tab and handle don't line up at all and it is getting worse over time. No matter how tightly I try tighten the lid, it leaks. This is an update one week later: coffeemakers.us.com gave me a different Bonavita customer service email then the one they have listed on their product information page. I sent an email and they responded that they are "under new management" so they would not honor my warranty because I purchased the product prior to new management. They did offer 20% off if I wanted to purchase another coffeemaker. No thanks! If you want a reliable coffeemaker buy the Breville brand. They will stand behind their warranty.

  • This is an amazing expresso machine! I love how easy it is to use and it makes great tasting expresso, fast. It is very easy to clean and has an auto rinsing function. You can just pop out the drip tray and rinse it out. It's a lot of fun using the machine. It has a big digital display that makes it easy to adjust your settings. You put the brewing handle under the coffee powder outlet, light comes on so you can see better, hit the grind button and it grinds your beans when you press it down, lift it back up and it stops. Move it too the other outlet press the button and it makes expresso! It looks fabulous too. Beautiful industrial design and it weighs almost 20lbs. It comes with some really nice accessories that match the expresso machine. Came with a nice owners manual and some tools to clean it thoroughly.

  • It always falls off when washing the filter

The box was fine. The packaging was fine. the top lid over the water reservoir was badly damaged. (See picture.). maybe a return item, since the lid also seemed to be scuffed? Since this seems like a really cheaply made item, it is going back rather than replaced.

This machine will make a mess and Keurig’s customer service is AWFUL!!! I just purchased one of these expensive Keurig K-Cafe Special Edition machines in the beginning of January. I noticed that when I was brewing a strong coffee or shot of espresso, the liquid splatters out everywhere as you can see from my photo. Luckily, I caught this in time before it ruined the hutch I have it sitting on. I tried contacting Keurig about this via email back in mid-January, and I got no response. In addition to my email, I called Keurig’s customer service and spoke to 4 different people on 4 different occasions about this issue. Everytime I had to wait on a long hold before speaking with someone. When I finally was able to talk to someone, every single time I was told they would take down my information and call me back during my requested hours. I was even extra kind and patient on the phone with them. Once out of all these attempts was I was called back, but it was not during a time I told them I was available. All the other times, no one called me back. They wasted so much of my time, and I still have no solution to my problem!! I still haven’t received a call back. I will be returning this machine, and not purchasing any more Keurig products in the future! I thought Keurig was a reputable company and I am appalled by how poor their customer service is. I have owned 2 other Keurig machines before this one, and they seem to stop working on me after about 2-3 years every time, even when I clean mine regularly. If I were you, I would not purchase any Keurig machines.

  • If you don't know what "borosilicate glass" is, it's the same glass used for lab beakers, those glass cups that typically sit on hot plates with a magnetic stirring tab on the bottom spinning the fluid. Some people here have complained about the glass being thin, but that's intentional. It needs to be thin to overcome stress from "thermal shock" (extreme, rapid temperature changes that normally would shatter glass), and despite being thin it's still rather tough; mine gets bounced around a lot and takes it well, but it's probably still a good idea to treat it like it's glass... cause it is. The real champ here is the filter. Coffee grounds don't get stuck in the outer filter holes, because the inner stainless steel mesh is "fine" enough to prevent that, so there's no need to blast hot water at it from the outside to kick out crap from the inside, you can just put water into it, dump (repeat 1 or 2 times until it's clean) then dry it, HOWEVER, coffee particles can slowly build up on the bottom over long periods of time (like 6 months to a year), but you can easily clean that crap out with vinegar. The rubber that sits on the metal grip of the filter honestly sucks at staying on, but I don't want rubber (that's made of who knows what) near my coffee anyway, so I just tossed it. To date, I've never had problems with getting burned from touching the metal grip after finishing a pour because the steel is thin enough for heat to dissipate plenty fast. As far as daily cleaning goes, personally my hands are too big to reach down into the based of the kettle to hand-clean it, but most simple cleaning brushes overcome that. One recommendation is getting a smaller flexible brush that can fit inside the neck, so consider picking one of those up with your purchase here if you don't already have one.

Makes perfect lattes. Purchased bustelo k-cups. Lattes at home - the best!

  • This is the SECOND one of this same item I have received that’s been broken when opening the box. The second one was not packaged properly. The glass was not connected to the machine so it was thrown around during delivery I’m sure. Seeing as though the glass is thin compared to my other coffee makers, it may be a safety hazard. I don’t even trust making coffee in it because the glass may not be able to handle such high heat. It’s paper thin! Not safe

  • The coffee pot has been doing a good job now for about a year. Stays hot enough (we’d like it hotter but it’s acceptable), doesn’t destroy the flavor unless you leave it plugged in all night, perks as it should. But beware! The inside opening of the spout is VERY sharp. Before using it I washed it. It sliced my little finger so quickly I didn’t even realize till my hand came out of the pot and was bleeding! (Photo attached). I contacted the company to tell them about this problem and got an email back saying they would call. They never did. Crickets since then. So I still use it. I just don’t put my hand in it without being very aware of that sharp spot. It makes decent coffee.

This 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker by Electactic is a small, yet mighty, coffee maker that is superior in functionality, practicality, and purpose. There are several above average features that make this coffee maker stand against others. The programmable timer allows you to prep your coffee the night before so it's ready when you wake up in the morning. In addition to that time saving solution, you don't have to worry about running out of filters, as this machine comes with a reusable filter, making it environmently friendly as well. And the coffee is HOT!!! I like my coffee very hot, and almost always have to heat my mug with boiling water first. I have been using this coffee maker a few times a day for the past several weeks, and I haven't needed to heat my mug because the coffee brews so hot. With so many great features, there were a few things I needed to mention that made me give this item 4 stars and not 5 stars. The coffee pot pour spout lid is flimsy, and is a bit too wide, so you have to get an exact pour angle each time or coffee will rapidly spill out. The design here is seriously flawed, and if you combine this flaw with how hot the coffee gets, you're looking at a potential safety issue. Another issue I had with this item was the price. Although it's a great little machine, I don't know that the price is justified. I don't think it's a great value for your money, but I do think it's a great coffee maker. As a coffeemakers.us.com Vine Voice writer I received this machine at no cost to test out, form an opinion on it, and then write about it. Personally I don't know that I'd spend this amount of money on it, I'd definitely shop around. Bottom line, I really do love this machine. But I can't see myself spending this much money on this type of kitchen countertop appliance when there are less expensive options on the market. If money isn't an object then this is definitely worth the splurge.
