First of all, I bought this thinking it would fit my thermos- It DOES NOT. I should have Returned it that very minute I found that out, but instead I kept it and stopped drinking my coffee on the go, or brewing and then attempting to pour the hot coffee into the thermos.. which sucks. I bought this in May, Used it very little and it hasn't worked correctly for at LEAST 3 MONTHS. I just have to keep adding water to get it to fill a cup. Which mildly burns my hand sometimes bc of the steam... if You are looking for something cheap to get you from broken high priced coffee maker to new high priced coffee maker- then this should last about a month of VERY LITTLE USE. I Am not a regular coffee drinker I just drink coffee when ever I don't feel like buying an energy drink, which is rare. Or want an iced coffee drink. But with Fall on the Horizon, It is a pain to have to rig up my coffee pot that isn't even 3 months old (at the time the cover also popped off...) idk if my maker is a fluke or something? Everyone else seemed to like it? Idk. But it is a huge dissapointment.
Great for a small space. If you want to fill a travel mug just make 2 in coffee cups and pour into mug since it only fits coffee cups under it.
Agrado que llegaron bien empacadas de manera q no se rompieran
I received the dripper part crooked which ruins the aesthetic of this tower for me. Big reason I went with this was how it looked as well so this is super disappointing personally. Makes good cold brew however.
It's ok but not nearly as good as I expected so I'm returning it. After 48 it's off brewing and 1.5 times the amount of coffee I usually use to brew hot coffee to make iced coffee is still very watery! Not very strong. You might have to use twice as much coffee and let it soak for a week to get good iced coffee. Also glass feels light and cheap. Instructions say use coarse coffee grounds but i used the regular Peet's ground coffee and fine coffee grounds would go through. Not a big deal but it's still annoying. Returned
Takes some getting used to, as you can see by the spillage in my first go at it, but it works quite well! When you want to take some time and make your Turkish style coffee but don’t happen to have a bunch of hot sand handy, this is a nice and relatively quick way to make yourself a nice little treat. At its core it’s a smaller sized / single serving sized little kettle but in the right hands or with some practice, you can set yourself up wonderfully. 4 stars, cool modern twist on a classic favorite.
After reading as many reviews as I thought I needed to, I ordered my percolator. Before it arrived I happened to read more of the critical reviews and wondered if I’d made a mistake. After washing and making my first pot of coffee this morning, I can say “Wow!” I used slightly more coffee than I did in my 5-cup drip pot. I had seen many reviews that said the coffee was weak no matter how much coffee they used. I’m happy to say my coffee was a little too strong so I’ll go back to my normal full 6 tsp. for the max water fill. The coffee was very hot (big plus) and had no metal taste. I am trying to get rid of as much plastic as possible (especially when anything hot could come in contact with it) so this was an easy thing to do. Some have complained that there is no auto-shut off. I have solved this with a timer that will accommodate the 1000 watts of the percolator. I’ve included a photo of the timer. I think this percolator is a keeper!
Fits on our counter so well, it has a smaller footprint than the older version. Nice handle on the water reservoir.
Not only did this come dirty and damaged, it just doesn't get hot enough to make strong tasting coffee, even with the bold setting on. I figured this out after a month. I booked the water with my kettle prior to filling the Hamilton and it made perfect coffee. Hence it doesn't get hot enough on its own. The iced coffee was ok until it wasnt..the first cup was great. The others insanely watery. I've purchased all kinda of coffee. Dark espresso roasts, etc...same outcome. I bought Starbucks Concentrate and I will use nrewed iced coffee from my iced french press as the water. This makes WAY better coffee. I will figure something out for the hot coffee. This ain't it.
I really enjoyed my first pot of coffee from this. It’s very easy to use and I made it without choosing the strong option and the coffee was strong enough for my taste. My previous coffee maker was a 14 cup cuisinart and I like that this takes up less countertop space both height and width wise. I’d prefer if the plastic top covering the glass carafe covered a larger portion of the top. There’s a wide open space for the coffee to lose heat more quickly. Also, the current selling price at $70 puts this in cuisinart territory and I’d go with a cuisinart over this but if this were $55 or less I’d give this 5 stars.
Couldn’t be happier with the product. Takes coffee to another level. Video and pic of the first attempt glass poured.
Our beloved Zorirushi coffeemaker stopped working after almost 12 years. Naturally, we decided to replace with another Zorirushi. very disappointed that the new one is so much larger than our current one (both are 10 cup). I don’t understand why it has to be so bulky, it’s not like it has a coffee grinder built in, or some feature like that. Have only used it for a several days. It does make good coffee so far. Overall happy with it, though can’t get over its bulkiness.
Let me just start by saying I received this as a Christmas gift from my grandmother in 2001 and I have used it all year long every single year since! And it still works just as perfectly as the first day! A beautifully frothed and perfectly mixed hot cocoa every single time. That is 23 years of use! As far as the reviews that complain about the cup not detaching from the base for cleaning…or the milk cooking to the bottom if you don’t clean it immediately…my solution is as soon as I pour out the last cup of hot cocoa, I fill it half full of water and add just a drop of dish soap and turn it back on. Then I relax and enjoy my hot cocoa. I go back later and dump out the water, remove the magnetic blade and give it a good rinse and it’s clean! Super easy! :)
This is a very compact EXCELLENT coffee maker that pack a punch! I was surprised at how good & strong my cup of coffee tasted - & this was with generic ground coffee. Very easy to use. Comes with a convenient ground coffee filter (which I used) as well as a K-Cup filter. To clean up I found that unplugging, putting the entire thing in the sink, and THEN removing the filter works best. Turn the tap water on to wash the filter & base. Love this Horavie Single Serve Coffee Maker!!
I've been using this coffee maker for over a year now, ever since I got it on sale. It makes a decent cup of coffee, especially considering the price. My only complaints are that it's a bit noisy during brewing and the power switch is in the wrong spot and easy to switch on by mistake, I came home a few times to see it was on the entire day.
