We needed to replace our Mr Coffee Iced Tea maker and the online reviews, not coffeemakers.us.com reviews, said that this specific product makes delicious iced tea. The coffeemakers.us.com reviews stated that the lid was not closing. To confirm, this does indeed make delicious green iced tea with filtered water from the grocery store. To confirm, this does indeed have a design flaw with the lid. I bought the unit new, it was new out of the box. I followed the instructions to prep the machine before the first use. After running the first cycle per the instructions the lid developed a warping issue which started causing the lid to have difficulty closing. I wasn’t sure if it was just the heat so I ran a batch of iced tea. I can confirm that based on the lid that there appears to be a design flaw with the plastic lid. It develops a warping problem and prevents the lid from closing. It is very important to keep this machine away from people and pets to prevent being burned by hot water. A recall would be safer.
The product naked good coffee, but the orange rubber seals keep falling off and they are so tiny you are likely to lose them. As seen jn the picture i lost one after several time it just fell off. I contacted support, hope they will send me repleceable part.
Surprised at how small. None of my cups fit. I have to brew 2 cups using the the cup that came with it to fill our mugs. But it definitely saves space!
This product makes good coffee, but easily malfunctions (see photos). I make coffee the EXACT same way every morning, and sometimes I get this huge mess of hot water spilling everywhere (dangerous for my two kiddos for sure!) I’ve reached out to customer service twice via email with no reply. The inconsistency of the coffee maker maybe a result of the frail drip mechanism. (TINY piece of plastic at the bottom of the filter). The fact that it is inconsistent makes this coffeemaker a poor investment. Hopefully, they improve the engineering in the future. Until then, I do not recommend.
I will start by staying we used to have a Mr. Coffee that we got when we moved into our home in November of 2019. We were mostly coffee drive thru on the way to work people until March of 2020 when the pandemic hit. Our sister in law has this coffee pot and we loved how much better her coffee tasted, even with the same coffee grounds than ours did. We ordered this coffee pot, very hesitantly, but are in love with it. Here are a few of our highlighted favorite things: 1. Keeps warm: we had a burner on our last coffee pot that made coffee taste burnt. Not only does this coffee maker not have a burner, but it keeps coffee warm for hours!! I think that the user manual claims 2 hours, but we consistently have warm coffee in the carafe even after 5-6 hours. Not hot coffee at that point, but warm enough not to have to nuke it in the microwave. 2. Coffee brewing temp: I believe coffee tastes so much better out of this pot than out of other coffee makers because of the temperature it brews at. When brewed at a lesser heat it doesn’t scald the water that eventually turns into your coffee, and gives a MUCH SMOOTHER taste. Seriously, very comparable to our local coffee shops fresh brew. 3. Timed function: out last coffee pot did not keep time accurately. While I should have returned it since we wanted to prepare coffee in the evening for a fresh pot to wake up to in the morning, we didn’t and just made do. This may seem like a small item, but for our family the fact that it keeps accurate time and we can set it to brew in the morning so it’s fresh and hot when we wake up is a huge win! Overall, I think for the average coffee drinking family this coffee makers value far exceeds its expense. It is worth every penny and if it ever breaks we will probably repurchase the same exact one!!
I like the size of it for just a single person use. It does pour out slowly so if you are in a rush start this a few minutes earlier. It makes coffee just fine, has a removable basket(no filter needed), doesn't take up counter space....
I had no idea how much better my coffee could be with a new coffee maker! This one is fantastic. It looks adorable, is very light and makes an excellent cup of coffee. I unplug it after every use and hand wash the parts as I’m not sure they are dishwasher safe. It’s not a big deal as there are only 3 removable parts and it just takes a second to wash. The retro design makes it look very nice on the countertop! Absolutely recommend. 😊
If you like good fresh brewed coffee Braun is a good choice. I've been using this multi-serve model for over three years and the coffee still tastes great. I add a non-bleached #2 paper filter inside the basket filter for easy clean-out, and normally use the Gold setting. An entire pot is brewed in a couple minutes, but easy to "cheat the pot" with the shut-off lever, or using the cups/thermos setting tastes just as great on the "gold" setting. The shut-off lever allows a few drips, which probably helped the non-stick warming plate begin to lose its coating Almost every coffee maker I've had does the same thing (maybe a version with a thermal carafe and no warmer plate would last even longer). I have used the hot water feature only a couple times, because it has a coffee flavor. Monthly cleaner reminder works, just follow the instructions. If you do not clean it regularly you'll get calcium build-up, and an error code. Not fun early in the morning when it won't make coffee. Great coffee maker overall.
This machine may be little but packs a punch in brewing a DELICIOUS cup of Java!! Super easy to use, easy to clean and the vintage look is perfect in our kitchen!! We absolutely love this little guy, and are beyond content with our purchase. We highly recommend Amaste Drip Coffee Machine to start your day.
This espresso machine is pretty neat and gets the job done! It comes with a bunch of accessories, most of which are pretty straightforward—except for the white ring (which helps keep the coffee grounds in place while you pack them) and the black attachment (which is actually for using coffee pods). The instructions are a bit confusing, so it took me a minute to figure everything out. I did notice it takes a while to heat up on its own, but adding hot water makes it start brewing instantly. The wall plug-in is a nice touch, and rare addition these days. Overall, it’s a good espresso machine with a few quirks, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a solid choice!
It works well, is attractive, and keeps coffee hot a long time however the spot weld at the bottom of the handle broke in 3 months making it dangerous to use and we will need to replace it now. Very disappointed.
Replaced our very old KitchenAid coffee maker with this brewer. This unit is extremely well made, 4-6 minute brew time, quiet, auto shut off feature and, most of all, delivers excellent coffee quality. Carafe keeps the coffee hot and fresh for a long time. There is a special brewing top which enhances the taste of the coffee with its design. Highly recommend this product.
I love this coffee maker. It is reasonably priced, easy to use and clean, programmable, allows me to serve friends and family members (pre-covid, Of course). But... exactly one year after purchasing it, the digital display is starting to malfunction. I now can’t tell if the “small batch” option was selected, and the numbers on the clock are incomplete. Not a huge deal, but hope it doesn’t mean that other issues will start appearing too.
Absolutely love this french press, it looks very good on my counter. It works very well, just wished it kept coffee hotter longer, but I bought it for the decor. UPDATE- I love the design and make of this french press and it makes beautiful coffee. However only after a month of using it, the glass carafe keeps sliding out and won't stay in place. I will contact the seller and see how they resolve this. Update- So I contacted the seller directly and they responded immediately. They replaced my French press with no additional charged and it arrived in a timely fashion. When I received the replacement french press the metal wasn't in pristine condition. I contacted the seller again and they immediately replace my French press within a few days. I am very delighted with the top notch customer service I received and I would recommend this item to anyone. It really is a divine coffee maker and it makes exceptional coffee any true aficionado would appreciate.
