  • We love this. This is a replacement for a first generation version of the same. When a few parts needed replacing we opted to buy a new one instead. I make a pot of regular and my wife uses the single use pods daily. It's so easy to use and clean.

  • I can cool a pound of freshly roasted coffee within 2 minutes

  • Originally purchased a Takeya cold brewer but wanted one that was not plastic with a bit more capacity so I went with this Coffee Bear version. In short, this brewer cannot be shaken without coffee leaking out and creating a mess. The inner part of the top lid seals the grounds in tight with a gasket but the screw on lid has a slot that the coffee pours through which remains open at all times. Giving the brewer a shake results in spilled coffee. Messy and wasteful.

This is not a coffee maker for three cups of coffee, certainly not mugs and not even measuring "cups". This may be for a demitasse cup but it should be labeled as such. Unfortunately I bought it as a gift and didn't find out its limitations until it was in use and the packaging disposed of.

I like the small footprint, adjustable area for taller mugs, ease of use. But as others have mentioned, since there's no burner they didn't bother to put an auto shut off on it. When I fogot to turn it off and came home one evening it was very hot and the kitchen smelled like plastic. My solution was this little socket timer. coffeemakers.us.com.com/dp/B01D3QEK4E?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Now I'm totally satisfied.

  • I would have given 5 stars but the first one I purchased - only lasted a few months then started leaking. I purchased a 2nd one - because I use this literally every day. I LOVE McDonalds unsweet tea - and was buying 1 or 2 a day. When I saw this iced coffee maker on sale - I immediately purchased it but not for iced coffee - for iced tea! Perhaps you need to rebrand - to iced coffee and iced tea maker. I fill with water - use one or two tea bags - and it makes perfect iced tea. I'm never going back. I love the tumbler but when it's not clean, I just reuse a washed McDonalds cup from a recently purchased iced tea when I'm out an about.

  • I absolutely love this percolator! It’s easy to clean. The spout is perfect for pouring. I like the handle guard that prevents you from burning yourself on the pot. It’s pretty rugged too. My problem is that the power cord has started to melt. I referred to the owner’s manual to find out where I could get a replacement cord. There wasn’t any sort of parts list in there. I couldn’t find a website for Moss and Stone either; only a Facebook page. I had to order a generic but supposedly compatible one. The only problem is, I can’t find one with less than a 4’ cord. It’s going to be too long, but I hope it works.

  • I just recently got into iced coffee and this machine is just perfect. I don’t have to have separate coffee makers for everything that I want to brew. This Braun Multiserve gives me all my options in one machine. You have the convenience of just brewing one cup at a time or just turning the dial and brewing a carafe. And I now have the choice of a cold brew. What could be better? It takes about 13 to 14 minutes for that cold brew and it taste great. The warm weather is here and I’m drinking a lot more iced coffee. Don’t get me wrong. I still like my hot coffee. This machine gives me options and how much I want to brew and how I want to brew. If I just want a cup or if I want more than a cup, I have that choice all on this one machine. I can use the carafe and still adjust how much coffee I want to make. I definitely appreciate that. The other thing I’m totally in love with is that this machine has enough space to accommodate my big travel mug. This is a game changer for me. I also like the fact that the parts are dishwasher safe, especially the carafe. I don’t run my dishwasher every day, so my only complaint is there’s no way to totally remove, the cover of the carafe to get your hand in there and clean it. All in all this is a great machine and it also has a three-year warranty.

  • I recently dealt with a power outage for several days due to a hurricane. I had 3 different types of coffee pots on my counter, and not one was usable! Instant coffee? Yuck! I was reminded of a French Coffee Press by a friend, and immediately ordered one. I love the look of this one with the copper colored metal. Not sure how long the copper will stay pretty but it looks good now. I do not have a coffee grinder, and did not order coffee beans so I tried it out with ground coffee that I had in my pantry. It was amazing. I'm not sure the reason that others struggled with too many grounds in their cup. The coffee I used was actually pretty finely ground, and it didn't have that problem at all. If you're following the process well, it should work like a charm, and you will have a amazing cup of coffee for your efforts. The price is also pretty reasonable. Very pleased with my purchase!

  • Only dislike is the coffee pot lid hinge broke so easily because of the plastic design other than that one little flaw this is an Amazing coffee maker for the price quick and quite.

I bought this coffee maker to replace my 12 cup Mr. Coffee maker I bought many years ago. I have always owned Mr. Coffee brewers and after this will not buy another. After just a month of normal use the hot plate stared to deteriorate and has continued to do so. After 10 months of use it is rusting and scratched terribly.

Likes: -it makes coffee -12 cup capacity Dislikes: -the power and programming buttons are on the side for some reason (I should have seen that from the pictures) -side opening for the coffee grounds/filter but you need to pull out the pot from the front?? What...how is that a good design? -the water loading system. Very small imo.

  • Had it for 2 days now, made at least 5 pots an no trouble at all. I was really skeptic of buying it due to the reviews. But I just had to have it an so far so good!

I just got mine today and tested it, no leaks, everything included, not damaged. Easy to program. Auto off in two hours on this model. Will work great for hot water or brewing tea or coffee. I have not tried it with the water filter part yet; the holder for the water filter has letters on it for Month, so you can know when to replace it with a new filter. Says for soft water replace every 80 uses for hard water every 60 uses. I use filtered water anyway so probably will not buy the cute little filters after I use this one. Instruction manual online says to clean use 4 cups white vinegar and brew with all parts except water filter; then run two cycles of only water after the vinegar brew. It also said to let it sit in the carafe for 20min (then run two cycles of only water).
