I have been a Toddy client for years! Love this system! However, my recent replace purchase the carafe literally fell apart, at the spout, yesterday when I took the lid off to pour my coffee!! Now I am without a carafe!! Seems that the glass carafe is Not what it used to be!!!
Cold Brew Maker This thing is fantastic. My old one broke. It was cheap and from Aldi. This thing is substantial! The jar is nice and thick glass. The top/handle feels secure. The filter is a great size. I even like the stir stick though I didn’t think I’d use it. I thought I wanted a larger size but this fits in the door of my fridge leaving more room in the main fridge. I love that! Number one: everything is dishwasher SAFE! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 It’s 2024. Ain’t nobody got time to hand wash anything. The directions were clear and made a great jar of cold brew. I am very happy with this!
Nice to have both the single cup and carafe options; we use both. Haven't used a pod yet, just ground coffee. Easy to use. It makes strange noises when brewing a single cup, but getting used to it now. Only wish it had a warming light to indicate that the coffee is ready/freshly made.
It really makes good coffee. My friend said it would, but I was actually pleasantly surprised.
I love the way this coffee maker looks- the square shape and white trim makes it sleek. Works great. Brews faster and better than my last one- and doesn’t drip when you lift the carafe after brew signal lets you know it’s done.
Nice to have a well made french press that I can't break! The directions are simple. The coffee tastes great!
The listing for the silver machine says it’s 15 bar, but the box I received says it’s 20 bar. I purchased the silver machine because I thought it was 15 bar. So I’m not sure if I received the right product. It works fine, just not the pressure I wanted.
This small French press pot is grand for a small bit of coffee in the middle of the night. BUT it did not like its bath in the dishwasher. So after I peeled off the paint- which was coming off anyway., I took two colours of nail varnish ( on the clearance shelf at Marshall's/TJ Maxx, I shook the bottles and dripped them over one side, let that side dry, a d did the same on the other side. One may note that whilst the red body paint peeled off, the seller HIGHWIN's logo paint did not peel off. What a shame they cut corners on the body paint.. . .profit reigning over product . . . I picture this little coffee machine next to my Nespresso machine to emphasize that I'm not a coffee amateur. The Kuerig machines are cool, and I like Black Rifle in them, but it's a hassle waiting for each cup -- I rarely drink one cup. The Nespresso makes great coffee, but it is so strong and bitter that it needs heavy cream to make it really tasty, and it only makes one cup. So, I just wanted a few cups of BLACK coffee. I put 6 scoops of ground beans in it, fill the pot and dump it in, turn it on, and in a couple minutes I have two large cups of great coffee (or 5 6oz cups). And, I'm not sure why the thing got a couple of bad reviews on the warmer plate -- I found that it keeps the pot perfectly warm, not too hot as to burn what's left. I highly recommend this little inexpensive jewel. Costs about the same as 4 Flat Whites from Starbucks!!!
The carafe part made good coffee but the single serve side has issues. Maybe I got a dud, but every time I tried using a Kcup it would explode and grinds went everywhere. I used the correct attachment. I tried this a couple more times and it would do the same thing. I wanted to love this coffee maker but sadly I am returning it and ordering an actual Keurig brand coffee maker.
Easy to use. The coffee tastes great. Good temperature. I wish it came in a larger size for people who would like to make 12 cups at a time however, this 5 cup size is perfect for me! 😊
This coffeemaker offers everything I was looking for: single cup whether it’s a travel mug, tall coffee mug or regular 3-4” coffee cup. It’s easy to pour the water into the receptacle and place the right amount of coffee into the filter, which cleans up easily. I sometimes program the coffee maker for when I want the coffee ready when I wake up, otherwise I turn it on in the morning and it turns off when the coffee is ready. It does make quite a bit of noise as it finishes filling the cup but I don’t notice it anymore. This is a great little machine!
I use this metal coffee filter every single day, and it’s been a total game-changer! It brews a great cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and is much more sustainable than using disposable paper filters. While I do have to replace it about once a year, it’s still a better long-term option in terms of cost and waste reduction. The mesh is fine enough to prevent most coffee grounds from getting through, and the design works well with my coffee maker. Cleaning is a breeze—just rinse and go! If you're looking for an eco-friendly, hassle-free alternative to paper filters, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!
I'm fairly happy with this machine. It makes a good cup of cappuccino. It was the only machine I could find that met all of my criteria, makes espresso, steams milk, inexpensive. Other reviews warn about the power switch and the red power on light. It turns off when when it reaches the optimal temperature, to prevent overheating. The reviews said that I would forget to turn it off because of the red light being off. I didn't believe them. I thought I would always remember to shut it off. I didn't. I went away and left it on all day long twice, which I'm sure increased electric bill. My solution is this switched outlet plug I got at a dollar store years ago. coffeemakers.us.com sells them, so add one of these to your order if you buy this machine. You can turn off the machine at the switch. The red light on the switch reminds me to turn it off, and I haven't left it on since.
Love the product but it just does not hold up. Brewed between 3-6 cups per day. The removable water reservoir cracked and began leaking water just a few months after we got it. Called customer service and they quickly sent out a new reservoir. Lesson learned, never remove the reservoir and in the event that you must, treat it very gingerly as it is very poorly made. This morning the handle became jammed and could not be closed. We called customer service and they made it clear that product was out of warranty and "once the handle became stuck there is nothing that can be done to repair it". Very disappointed in the durability of this product. With a $200 price tag it should last longer than 17 months. If you buy this product you would be wise to purchase the extended warranty from coffeemakers.us.com. Guarantee you will need it. Best technology in the world will not make up for the cheap plastic parts that have rendered this machine inoperable.
