Braun products are always great. This coffee maker is no different. It brews cold and hot coffee and tea perfectly. Its preparation time for cold coffee is much less than the other coffee makers. My family are all coffee lovers and this one is a bliss.
I was really excited when I got out of the box and everything looks great well-made,. A few things, j Just getting ready to make my first cup of coffee and put water up to the 12oz line after putting 2 TBL grounds in. let that sit for three minutes. Then pushed it down and only got a half cup of coffee 8oz line to 12oz line. Doesn’t push all the way down so it’s missing some of that coffee. Not sure I will keep. I’ll just keep my over pour. I wouldn’t recommend this.
This is the cold brew set I have been waiting for these last couple of years. I do not drink coffee but I love tea. So I used this to make cold brew green and white tea within an hour after I opened the box. The infuser is a fine-mesh so little to no particles come through. As I make my own vanilla extract from beans in large mouth mason jars, I have ample jars if ever my butter fingers let the original one slip. Yes, this is not a Ball or Kerr branded jar, but it is still fairly solid in my opinion (as I have many Ball jars currently). The handle does sit a bit close to the jar but that works in my favor as I have hand spasms so having fingers wedged in there is perfect for me. I am very pleased with this set.
This is an amazing product, I hate waiting for my coffee to cool down by sticking it in the fridge and waiting like 20 min.. nothing is better than an iced coffee the same time you get hit with the aroma of it being brewed! Now instant coffee isn’t just for the hot coffee latte lovers! I found this product 75% off at Barnes and nobles for $8 it’s definitely a worth the money! Makes coffee in minutes. I just brew two espresso shots and throw in some cream while I’m getting ready I’ll let it sit and stir everyone once in a while! It’s perfect! I love it so much !
This coffee maker was perfect until the needle that punctures the bottom of the K-cup broke off after only 2 months of use.
I love my french press, however, with daily use after one year, the handle is starting to separate from the body.
The model makes good coffee. The only drawback is the discoloring of the white parts. Cannot get the stains off no matter what cleaners are used. They need to use better materials to avoid the discoloration. Meanwhile my 41 year old coffee grinder still works on a daily basis.
Arrived as described. Very easy to use and clean. It can be filled past the 5 Cup/20 oz mark ;-) The only downside is that I wish it had a lid and and that the silicone holder was attached to the design because it slips off too easily from the cone tray as it is detachable.
The box was open and the coffee maker lid is broken and it looked like it was used not happy at all
I will be writing multiple reviews for this product , if permitted. All the basic functions work fine. The resulting coffee tastes great. However, the unit has big design flaws. The first issue is the constant loud clicking. Once the hot plate is on, the thermostat tends to turn it on and off which results in constant noise. I understand the concern for conserving energy but the clicking is loud and frequent. It could have been designed better. It turns out I am not allow multiple videos. The second video I was going to post was the water issue: the auto-stop mechanism rests on the pot and is so poorly design that hot water starts running down it, down the pot, and onto the hot plate. This creates a constant sizzling and causes permanent damage to the plate. You wipe it off mid-brew, put the pot back, and minutes later more water runs down. I have examined everything. Nothing is misaligned, nothing is clogged. It i just a very bad design. Do not buy this unit. I’m very disappointed as I used to be a fan of Braun.
Someone was asking about keeping the lid upright. Here is how I solve mine. Video attached. Using a bamboo stick or something similar. Hope this helps.
34oz tea/coffee maker, do not use it on the stovetop. Comes with instruction and a little plastic spoon. Made in China (see photo of the box). Doesn't say anything about safe dishwasher so I'm cleaning it manually.
I will start by saying I love the product and it makes great coffee. They have made a few design changes from the previous model that are really annoying. First, the new pot is a fish bowl shape with a weird aardvark looking lid (I assume to minimize drips, but I never had that problem on the old design) versus the straight sides of the old design. In order to pour out the last 2 cups, you have to tilt the pot past 90 degrees and the steam from the coffee burns your hand. Second, they took the nice stainless filter holder and switched to a cheap plastic. I threw mine away and use the old stainless filter holder as it looks better and is easier to keep clean. Third, the top where you pour in the water now has a neat stair step design that tells you how many cups of water you have poured into the machine. While this seems like a good upgrade, it was not tested properly. Now everytime I pour water into the machine, the water hits the flat part of the measuring steps and splashes all over the counter. This was a huge miss and is probably the most anoying of the three problems that did not exist in the old design. Hopefully Bunn reads this and corrects the problems in the next design. Unfortunately for me, the product is such a high quality device (my last machine lasted for over 10 years with proper cleaning) I will have to put up with these annoyances for a while yet. With that said, I would still highly recommend this product.
The Keurig K-Cafe K-Duo is incredibly easy to use and has become my go-to every morning. Whether I want a quick cup of coffee, a latte, cappuccino, or even tea, this machine does it all effortlessly. I love that it works with both K-Cups and ground coffee, giving me plenty of options. The frother is a nice touch for when I’m in the mood for something fancy. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t take much effort to switch between features. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile coffee maker, this one is worth it. It makes mornings so much easier!
Perfect for my cafe corner. Fits right in with the others.
