  • Love this little machine! It looks beautiful on my countertop, and surprisingly makes a delicious drink. It was really easy to use. I used to be a barista years ago, so it was easy for me to navigate and set up. The milk steamer heats up well, and the espresso came out really creamy. The scoop and tamper are one piece and do the job. From the first drink I made, it came out delicious! I was a little bummed it didn’t come with espresso glasses but I bought a nice pair to go with it and some other accessories like a milk pitcher and clip on temp gauge. I used the cafe gavina canned grounds and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this machine for an affordable home machine that is easy to clean and makes a great latte!

Coffee maker is two years old, and the black coating on the warming plate is already flaking off, exposing powdery white spots. I contacted Mr Coffee, and they will do nothing to fix the problem. Other problems with the pot are: 1. It is very difficult to pour water in the little fill holes. 2. The nice looking stainless carafe is designed so it dribbles when you pour. 3. If the pot is not centered exactly on the warming plate, a pot of water goes all over the counter. 4. The delay timer numbers are hard to read. 5. The coffee warmer keeps the coffee too hot to drink. 6. If you overfill the reservoir by a tiny bit, the water comes out of a hole in the back. 7. Your hand does not fit into the pot for cleaning. 8. The fill numbers on the pot cannot be seen when filling the pot, since the pot is stainless. 9. The fill markers on the water reservoir are difficult to read. I've put up with all of the problems EXCEPT the coating flaking off of the warming plate. This is a design defect that Mr. Coffee refuses to fix. I make one pot of coffee per day. The only positive feature of this pot is that it looks nice when it is just sitting on the counter.

  • I am going to get the negatives out first. My big issue is that they do not include directions of any kind. Luckily I was able to find some for another brand. And it still took some trial and error to get it right. Some basic instructions or tips would have been helpful. It’s also important to note that the filter does allow some fine silt to come out of the coffee grounds if you are making Cold Brew Coffee. Now on to the positives. I like that the pitcher has measurements molded into the glass. It made it very easy to add my 7 cups of cold water to make my cold brew. I also like that the pitcher is glass. That’s a big deal for me. Plastic would eventually stain in my opinion. The filter so far appears to be made well. Some have complained that it falls apart. I have not seen that so far. I like that the cap had a handle molded into it and the pour spout had an integrated cap. All good things. Can’t lose the cap that way. I also like that they included a scrubbing brush. Nice inexpensive touch. And I didn’t have to go buy one to clean the pitcher. I have successfully made Cold Brew a few times, albeit with some silt in the cup. See my above negatives. But for some, this will not be strange. Some people like the silt in their coffee. Overall, I give this 4 stars. It has a lot of positives and I can make Cold Brew at home. I can also use this for other things like tea, fruit infused water, and mixed cocktails. But the complete lack of any instructions and the fact that I end up with solt on my cold brew prompted me to take a star away. Dedicated Cold Brew makers don’t have this issue. But because this is trying to do many things to diffuse multiple kinds of ingredients into water, it has a drawback. I do recommend it. Just prepare to look for some instructs on the web. I have included some basics in my attached pics.

Wanted a good coffee machine with different functions. It was hard figuring it out at first but the single cup and full pot feature is great. Only slight issue is I bought nespresso pods and the coffee grounds got all over after brewing. May need to see which pods fit. Other than that- I love this machine. Easy cleaning Functional Quiet Sleek look

Disappointed how much space from the planger and the bottom ( on the picture 1.5 large scoops of coffee). Also if u worry about plastic-u do poor coffee through it. I was looking for good high quality 12 oz French press, that looked the best option, very disappointing.

Works great turns off when done very efficient

  • According to the instructions, I'm supposed to tap on the bottom of the pitcher to get the hot coffee grounds out of it. I've had this thing for 2 weeks, and the bottom broke out.

  • Es súper pequeña y buena para las oficina y los negocios me encanta

Carafe leaks. Company will not replace. I can return item to coffeemakers.us.com and purchase another which is now priced $50 more than I paid a couple of weeks ago.

  • The Hamilton Frexbrew model #49976 and others have so many reviews with the same problem, the water hose leak. It happened to me a year ago I opened and corrected it. Today it leaked again this time it was a different hose, this one the heating element was melting the hose around the pipe, I called for parts they said this model is discontinued therefore no replacement. You would think with this many problems they would upgrade to a better part!

This compact single-serve coffee brewer is perfect for college students or even an office space—really, anyone with limited space who doesn’t need 12 cups at a time. It’s lightweight & takes up minimal space—ideal for dorms, where desk space is usually all you have. It would fit perfectly on a small side table or desk while still leaving room to spare. My daughter recently moved into a student apartment with 3 roommates, all of whom brought their own kitchen gadgets, so space was still an issue. Luckily, this coffee maker’s compact design makes it easy to store. Plus, it’s travel-friendly—she can easily bring it home over the summer or during long breaks. It comes with both a K-pod adapter & a mesh filter for ground coffee. The included recipe cards offer some delicious, easy-to-make drink ideas. It’s user-friendly, operates quietly, & the hot/iced option is a unique but fantastic feature for a single-serve machine. My daughter loves making iced coffee without the ice melting instantly. Bonus: It’s not just for coffee! It dispenses hot water for soup mixes—perfect for the classic college staple, Cup-O-Noodles 😂! The only improvements I’d suggest are adding a small LED light to indicate when it’s powered on & a serving size selection. Right now, it brews whatever amount of water is in the tank (6-14 oz), so if you forget it’s filled to the max & only need a small cup, you’ll have a mess on your hands. Easy to do when you’re half-asleep & rushing to class 😄. So, just be careful to fill it with the exact amount you need each time. It even has a cleaning reminder & a self-cleaning function. Overall, this little machine packs a lot of value into a small size. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee—hot or iced—& would be a great gift for any student!

Did not notice how tall this unit was until we got it and opened the box. It will not fit under our 16" high cabinets!

After a few days of using this, the heating plate burned right through the bottom of the coffeemaker. I'm just glad I saw the smoke before anything went up in flames. Not good!

This seller is top notch. I am a coffee snob and I was searching for a versatile coffee maker/k pod friendly machine for a quite some time. To say that I was nervous purchasing a refreshed/refurbished item is putting it mildly. But the item arrived on time and in excellent condition. Not a scratch on it. Not a blemish. Just beautiful. It was never used and I was blown away. Just spectacular. My family and I have been using it daily for a month now, and it checks all the boxes; mom's fresh ground fine expresso roast, dads over ice pods, the 20+’somethings tea pods, and the teens organic pods and keeps chugging along beautifully day after day. Now a bit of advice, that has also been mentioned by others, you “must” clear out the pod needles to keep them from clogging. Or you may have a mess on your hands the next time you brew a pod. But to be fair, my family forgets occasionally and we haven’t had any disasters (except that one time). Pros: versatile well performing machine and it keeps a pot warm for up to four hours. Gives you the option to select bold brew. The water reservoir for the pod side can make up to three 10oz cups a day. Cons: the reservoir for the coffee maker is situated toward the back of the machine and is quite narrow so you have to be careful when adding water. Remembering to clear out the pod needles daily to avoid a disaster. But, regardless i’d still purchase it. I just wish I had done so sooner

Got this coffee maker thinking that a simple design would be less prone to problems, unfortunately it started leaking water out of the bottom. I took it apart to see where it was leaking from and discovered that the leak is coming from one of the connecting tubes. Included a video in this review to show others where the weak point is since other reviewers mentioned it leaking water. Disappointing product, would not buy again.
