I really disliked my previous brewing coffee maker because the delay timer was a total pain in the neck to set, and my husband was always accidentally setting it to make in the p.m., so I'd wake up to no coffee (which makes me not a nice person to be around). Or, he'd accidentally start it brewing instead of hitting the button twice to select the delay (okay, maybe I did that also a time or two😆). As soon as I saw this, I jumped on it, and I'm super happy I did. First and foremost, it is MUCH easier to set the delay (and turn it on and off) than the one I had; the display is easier to read, brighter, and it's more intuitive. Also, I can select the strength of the brew (we choose the bold). Finally, it looks SO much nicer on my counter because it is significantly less tall, bulky and imposing than the previous one I had, but it still does everything the other one did (it just looks better doing it). Like most of these, it has an automatic shutoff (2 hrs), but I generally pour our coffee directly into a thermal carafe in the morning so that it stays warm until midday, so that's not a big feature for us (still, safety first!). It makes a good cup of coffee, looks great doing it, and is much easier to use overall; I'm quite happy with this model.
The ad said "Unbreakable",.......well this morning buy just setting the filter on carafe caused it to crack and break. This is the third one of this style of drip coffee maker! And for the filter we had to run the coffee thru it twice because it ran through the filter so fast!
I didn't like I got a broken dirty product
Love the size , flavor and option of size cups & option of stronger. I had keurig classic for 3.5 years and it was sooo much quieter than this.we fix about 8 cups a day . Noise is when heating water and very loud while coffee is dispensing, also after dispensing. Think I should have stayed with the classic
Cute product but poorly constructed. After only two uses the plastic cracked.
The Homeleader single serve coffee maker is smaller in size , however its 1000W heater makes your coffee very quickly. There are adapters included that raise your specific size coffee cup to where you want it ! ( see pics for the largest and smallest setup). Also Included is the ground coffee adapter , just remove the K-cup holder , put your ground coffee into the adapter and insert into the coffee maker. Making single serve coffee is very easy and this product heats up very quickly and your coffee is ready in a very short time. Although not mentioned in the instructions or on the box, the manufacturer states that this coffee maker has been ETC tested and certified. The only minor issue is you must be careful filling the water reservoir, filling it too quickly will cause the water to flow into the front K-cup area and drip out or into your coffee pod .
This machine is loved by so many, why can’t Mr. Coffee make this again? It’s definitely not a sophisticated machine but that’s why I love it. My carafe broke over a year ago but as you can see in the photo I kinda fixed it with tape... I’m trying to baby this carafe as long as I can. Impossible to find another carafe unless you pay over $500 for a totally new machine. I’m actually considering it. I don’t know why or how, but this simple set up makes Starbucks level lattes. Mr. Coffee look at this picture and please help us! Bring this back and we’ll love you forever.
Why 3 stars? I opened my box and the products was exactly like the pictures you see... all dirty, water actually in the water chamber of the machine and the base obviously used and cushioned feet uneven. I did buy a used one in November 2022 a new model and it lasted until October 2023, handle broke off. I decided to buy a more sturdy handled one new, but got this. I did not send it back. I was able to clean everything and my expressos are great. I love the size and it travels well when I visit others. I need my expresso!!! LOL
We needed something quick and easy for our 50 count wedding day. Quite impressed that I didn’t have to use a paper filter, it looks like you would have to but it barely left any grounds in the coffee. I used Meijer's regular ground and it did just fine.
My son wanted a little coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar so I made one in my bedroom, this little coffe maker is great and works perfectly, we love it!
I’ve owned this coffee maker now for just about six months and still really enjoying it. Was a little skeptical at first after seeing the ad on Instagram and finding it on coffeemakers.us.com to purchase. I guess you could say I’m a little “old school”, I don’t think I’ve spent much more than $100 on a coffee maker before so spending what I did for this one was a little out of the norm but happy I did.. You can tell a lot of time and research went into this machine to make it work the way it does. My machine gets used on an average of four times per day, yes we love our coffee. Sure the water reservoir is a little small and would be nice if it was a little bigger but it really isn’t that difficult to fill up a cup of water and pour it in the back, also to add beans every other morning into the top section is simple. I take out the grinder which is simple and also very well made and rinse it under hot water about once a week which seems to be fine as it keeps it going perfectly. If there’s anything I’ve noticed that maybe could go wrong with the machine it would be the motor which brings back the grinder after it does its thing, seems like it’s under a little stress at times but so far it’s working fine. Thanks again Tchibo for making a great machine!!
I absolutely love this little espresso maker. It’s small and compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I love the fact that you can make 4 shots at one time. The other espresso maker I had, could only make two shots at a time. Do not pack the coffee down like I did because when you try to remove the filter holder, it WILL EXPLODE. It scared the heck outta me. The release from the pressure created a massive amount of steam and the coffee grounds went flying everywhere and made the biggest mess ever. I never packed the coffee down in the filter ever again and it’s made the perfect 4 shots of espresso.
I got this Hamilton Beach thermal coffee maker because I like to be able to adjust how much coffee I use and how strong I make it. I have a keurig but you can only put so much ground coffee in the reusable k cup and it just not strong enough most of the time. I like that this Hamilton Beach gives you 3 brew strengths, regular, bold, and robust. It works great especially when I'm using different coffee's and I can adjust it to be the perfect taste. I like that it has the thermal carafe because nothing is worse than coffee sitting on a hot plate and getting burnt. I wouldn't say the carafe keeps the coffee hot for as long as I was expecting but it doesn't really bother me because I just put my cup in the microwave if not hot enough. Now I can atleast start my coffee before I get up for work in the morning as before I couldn't because I take more coffee to work than what the Keurig makes at once. I'm glad I went back to a simple coffee maker that brews a pot.
