i was skeptical of buying this at first because it’s not cheap and i’m a college student but it eventually paid for itself with how much coffee you can make with it ! it’s so fun to use that i have surplus coffee in jars in my fridge bc i can’t stop making it now ! i normally use 1.5 cups of coffee to 6 cups of water at 10-12 hours and it’s the perfect flavor for me ! i’ve even used it to make cold brewed yerba mate tea and that worked wonderfully. i do usually end up using the filter bag after brewing just bc those tiny grains of coffee can really ruin the experience for me. i love it tho and i do not regret buying it at all.

  • To coin a phrase, it's all about the base... What makes this siphon coffee maker stand out above the rest is how easy it is to control the heat. The electric base that the pot plugs into is so much easier to manage than either alcohol based or propane burner, and even the infrared heater that's available for these. And yes, I've used all of them (the infrared was disappointing). The propane burner is OK, but I find it runs out of fuel after a couple of uses and I'm constantly refilling it. The Queen Sense is nearly as easy as a standard drip coffee maker as you just fill it with water, put the grounds in the top siphon, and turn it on. Wait for the science experiment to start and magic to happen, then enjoy your coffee. The only downside is that the coffee pot/heating element is a sealed unit, so if you break the pot (which I did), there is no easy replacement. An expensive lesson in where to put your coffee maker, which is not below the spice rack. Lesson learned. My Hario is collecting dust since I got this one.

  • This is an excellent coffee pot. While we have a single serve brewer, with 4 adults and sometimes company, a full coffee pot is a must. It brews a full pot of coffee really fast through a conical, gold filter. Makes a rich cup of coffee. Then, the thermal carafe keeps coffee quite hot for 3 hours or more with no deterioration in flavor! The Bold brew option makes a strong yet smooth pot of coffee. There are other features like delay brew, small pot or travel mug, and of course, auto shut-off. We are enjoying excellent coffee from a fast, well-designed, superior coffee pot.

Love the smaller, more compact design. Works perfectly in my husband's home office.

  • Disappointed that this coffee maker did not work out. First and second time- no problem. Third and fourth times- coffee leaked all over my counter. I made sure that I used it correctly and unfortunately it leaked. I read several reviews that reported the same, but I bought it anyway, hoping mine would be fine. Also, I’d like to add that it is bulky and the water dispenser area is behind the unit and hard to fill. I had to move it to the side because it did not fit under the cabinet Sad it didn’t work out.

My second espresso machine and I have to say this has a whole more to offer. It's a nice machine to start your barista journey as it contains easy to follow instructions and the basic tools you need to brew your own. There's definitely a huge learning curve when it comes to brewing. Espresso is a tech, and takes time to understand the right "dialing in" proportions and ratios.  You can fit a regular mug underneath the dispenser even with the portafilter on. The interesting feature of this machine is the dedicated tank for milk. It works well when serving multiple cups of coffee at a time. The milk frother which works very well. It quickly foams and heats up the milk. The other thing it came with was a cheapy plastic spoon to scoop your coffee and I think the instructions say to use it to tamp the powder in the portafilter (portafilter the ice cream scoop spoon looking thing that attaches to the nozzle). I'd highly suggest buying a metal tamp which provides more force to push down and flatten the coffee powder. Also it would look loads nicer than the plastic spoon they provided. I would only recommend getting an espresso machine if you want better tasting coffee than the pod ones and you have time to spare. Because making your own and washing everything after, takes a lot of time.

  • Need an inexpensive coffee maker for the trailer we moved in while the house was rebuild after Hurricane Helene. That is what this is, it my work long enough for the house to be rebuild. The lid warped after the first use. Only holds very small cups and does not turn off after coffee is made. it work but that is all it is, cheap and poorly made but works for now.

Easy to use and nice quality!! This is great if you’re trying to save money and make your coffee at home. You just add water in the jar, coffee grounds into the filter and pop it into the fridge for at least 24hrs!

This machine is amazing, I never have to go out for coffee. I will suggest, if you’re like me and you like your lattes steaming hot make sure that you warm the milk before you add it to the filter.

  • It works well. Comes with multiple capsules for different types of coffee....K cups, espresso, nespresso, regular coffee. The attractive design and small footprint are great. OK for a quick cup of java!

The reason I bought this machine was I could make coffee with milk but after I used it a few months the bottom of the machine got really bad. It is so hard to clean it once you make coffee with milk. I wish I have never bought it. I don’t recommend.

So we literally only brew coffee two or three times a week . First it stopped draining on it's own. So we added the clip inside. Helped for a minute but then it started having internal explosions regularly. So we removed the lid. Once again helped for a minute. The binder clip doesn't always stay on. So sometime it gets forgotten. That is where the popsicles sticks come in. There the only way to stop a full explosion in progress and if not put in in time, coffee grounds will need to be washed out parts you didn't even know this coffee machine has. This machine is just over two years old now
