This is an excellent value for a great French press. The press is very well made and attractive on my counter top. It makes 3 average cups, or two very large cups, of fantastic coffee. The filter system is unique and efficient. The filter is simple to replace and clean. It comes with an extra filter screen, so it literally takes one minute to replace the filter with the clean one and run the other through the dishwasher. The press makes the most pure coffee without sediment of any French press I have owned. I am sold! I plan on ordering another one for my camper van.
I don't always do reviews, but this maker deserves one. I'm an avid coffee drinker. I just bought a high priced coffee pot from Best Buy and within 1 month it stopped working properly. Luckily coffeemakers.us.com shipped this one quickly. I wasn't super impressed after unboxing this one, but after using it, it's definitely the best coffee pot I've owned in 40 years. I was determined to get one with a built in filter. This has a small light illuminating the filter reservoir & for some reason the design makes it super easy to dump the coffee grains and clean. Love that. Also, I wasn't sure about the detachable water reservoir, but it's a spectacular idea. I use filtered water and it's so much easier to pour into the reservoir than any coffee maker I've owned. Great idea. Another thing I noticed is the pause function that allows you to steal a cup of coffee while it's operating is superior to any pot I've ever owned. It doesn't drip one drop on the hot plate. And I mean not one tiny drop. The hot plate was always ruined quickly on previous ones, because the pause didn't work well. I'm impressed. I also love that it produces coffee quickly! Once I prompt it to percolate, I need that first cup fast. I'm not a morning person and I need my first cup right now. This makes 10-12 cups pronto. Oh, and the glass carafe pour spout is designed perfectly. Others I've seen don't pour right, and this one is designed so it doesn't drip on the counter. This maker is the easiest to clean out of dozens I've owned. I'm super pleased with my purchase and I paid a minimal amount for a 3 year warranty. Thank you for finally making a coffee maker that is a pleasure to use instead of a pain.
My replacement Chemex is so sad. As soon as I took it out of the box, I noticed a weight difference and had to weigh both of them to make sure I wasn't crazy. Logo and spout have also been changed. Guess I will start looking on eBay and in thrift stores to find a replacement. Very disappointed in the company. Returning this piece of crap.
The coffee maker is brand new, looks amazing and works perfectly. I love the color it brews very quickly and it’s really easy to program.
We got ourselves a similar version of a mini coffee maker for K-cups to use on our camping trips. Unfortunately, that unit turned out to be quite a hassle to use. It has a 6oz (about 177.44 ml) marking, but it had to have more water, otherwise it would leak. It also took forever to warm up the water. In comparison, this unit is super-fast to heat, it works well for either K-cup capsules or your own ground coffee. I specifically tested it with a 6oz selection because the design has to utilize minimum amount of water and have it hot from the get go. It excelled with both the k-cups and the ground coffee. It has a window on the side for the fill level, although I wish the markings would have been darker color to allow only a glance at. Bottom line, we fall in love with this tiny unit. Super functional for our camping trips. Takes no space, and will brew coffee for both winter and summer, and do even tea (we have different tea in K-cups). It is so compact, convenient, and light that we started to use it when we sit or entertain outdoors, plugged in the outlet in the gazebo. A pitcher of water and k-cups next to it and some disposable hot drink cups. A pleasure.
Aloha, I purchased this for my boyfriend who's been loving this cold blew machine! It's so quick yet so yummy too! He's one of those guy who has to have a big cup of coffee every morning and he told me this coffee maker is by far make the best cold blew coffee ever!!! So since I gifted this for him he has been making every day sometimes twice or 3times a day. Unfortunately whenever he was cleaning the filter inside accidentally he threw away a part of the filter. I inquired about possible purchasing the part then the customer service got back to me right away for me to go online to their website. okay, sorry! long story short...because we reside in Oahu, HI(Hawaii) the small company like them could not afford to pay high shipping cost to Hawaii!! I mean I really understood it though..A big company like coffeemakers.us.com even though this pandemic, even though this shipping hardship they can still afford for shipping cost but not the small individual company like them. So I told them I understood their situation. Then the manager of Vinci messaged me that they're very sad about our situation they will try their best to send the part to us in Hawaii for free!!! My boyfriend was so stoked about the news. Even though their small company their customer service to care of their customer are "Huge". Mahalo nui Vinci Houseware Company!!
Gevi machine makes delicious espresso. I grind PEETS coffee beans and made a very delicious espresso 2 shots cup. Foamy and tasty. Go for it. I love it myself
The flavor is “good to the last drop” Aroma is wonderful.
It sure is nice to have a fresh cup of coffee in the morning .....we have bought this brand for years and they have always worked so well and I liked that they DONT come with a ton of programs.. just make coffee. Our old coffee maker was pretty old so we figured it was time to get a new one yet 2 days after we ordered this one,the old one died! I checked out all the photos listed with this one but noticed it didn't have one showing the water gauge. I'm left handed so like to know those things in the world made of right handers. So here's a picture. It's on the right hand side of the water tank but it's really in an ok spot.
Oooooooeeeee is this thing tiny. It will make 2 cups at a time. Have no idea how they get 5! Lol. Total deception. I'm going to keep it though because there's only 2 coffee drinkers here. If I want to make an additional pot it's easy peezy. I like the fact I don't have to buy coffee filters although I just did a day ago right when my other coffee maker kind of broke. To be honest I wouldn't have gotten this at all had I known the little spring loaded button that sits on top of the coffee pot lid attached to the coffee filter basket would actually not cause any issues with it being popped off. Only issue helpful if you plan on taking the pot out and pour a cup while it is making a pot. Eh. This little thing will come in handy at some point. At this time I'm just going to keep using my old one until it dies.
If you love, like or just want coffee once in a while, then this for you. It's not a large bulky machine. It sits right next to my toaster over ready to be used. It's simple and cute, Coffee is ready in under 2min. I haven't timed it but i walked out to put on my shoe and came back it started dripping. There is a blue water filter that comes with it, I've figured out how to use that filter as a coffee filter with my loose coffee. I can even brew my mint tea.... "evil laugh" ahahahahah I'm about MacGyverthee heck out of this coffee machine.
It's a good basic coffee maker, fair warning though it does not automatically turn off. When your done making coffee turn off manually.
I absolutely love the color and size of this model. Coffee and cappuccino brews great but my particular machine is very noisy. I had another one before and didn't sound at all like this. Wondering if it's a product malfunction or just this way this one is. Will do more research. Other than the noise I am very happy with this coffee maker.
This is super simple to set up. I love the design of this. You do need coffee filters. You can choose brew strength, as well as coffee brewing delay, or how long to keep warm. I like stronger coffee so I chose that setting. This would be super cute on a coffee bar or set up for a guest with all the extra goodies to make their own coffee. There are multiple options to set how you like your coffee, and there’s nothing better than fresh ground beans and brewing your coffee how you like.
We spent Christmas with family out of state and my parents had a Keurig at their new house. Spent a week with the thing and I fell in love after the 2nd day. I had ours ordered before we even left. Exact same model, different color. Granted, it's only been a week or so but, we both LOVE it. Even though my husband didn't understand saying "But, our coffee pot is just fine. We don't need that!" Nobody NEEDS a Keurig. There are a lot of things that nobody actually NEEDS. That said, it is a really nice addition/upgrade to our morning coffee routine. Do I want a smooth French Vanilla? Maybe a Hazelnut? Do I just want Folgers in my cup? Am I having one of THOSE mornings where I need a giant mug of Starbucks Plus (2x caffeine)? Who cares! I can have all of the above in a single day if I so choose. And hubs and I don't have to drink the same thing (don't touch my Starbucks Plus - that stuff ain't cheap but, it's worth it if you don't have to share). While you may not NEED a Keurig, you'll be happy you spent the money. A word of advice, hold out for it being on sale. It was $99 when I ordered ours. It's $129 now. I NEVER would have spent $130 on a coffee maker. I'm definitely okay with the $100 investment.
