Got this as a present. Filter, carafe, and bamboo base all worked great! Except filter basket is attached to base plate with tiny tack welds, which quickly broke after a few uses/washings. There's a way to drill a hole and add a stainless steel bolt, which is what I'm going to do rather than return this.
I have a Hario Cold Brew pitcher but it's so tall, makes me nervous it's gonna break. May or may not be fair to compare Miocaro's version to Hario but, that's my experience. If you want good cold brew, you may want to read this. Miocaro's pitcher has a nice shape & ease of handing. It would be great for loose leaf tea or to strain juice. However, as a cold brew option, maybe not. The main difference between Hario & Miocaro is the filter. Hario has a micro fine, mesh, perma filter that really filters out fine particles. Miocaro has a metal filter & the holes are small but not fine so, your ground must be coarse. With Hario a store bought medium ground works. The other difference is, the Hario says it's done in 8 hours, which it is. The Miocaro says you should brew 12 hours. I did. It was bitter. Btw, used the exact same coffee ( an Organic Peruvian), that I ground myself, in both pots. The Miocaro did better at 8-10 hours. I've accidentally forgot about my Hario & gone 14 hours & it was still smooth as silk. It's just sooo good. Miocaro's larger strainer holes do make for a quicker run through with the water. You can pour water in & it goes straight through. Hario must be stirred to wet the ground & drips like a regular hot coffee pot so, takes bout 6 min. The Miocaro has been great for my juicer blends that need pulp strained through. Saves me a huge amount of time & it's a good glass container with BPA free plastic handle. While I do prefer Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks has mastered Cold Brew & that's the level I'm striving for. Miocaro is respectable. Just tastes more like iced coffee vs cold brew. My Hario with Spring water is oh so close to the Starbucks cold brew holy grail. So I guess it depends what you're looking for. Hope this helps.
I absolutely love this coffee maker! The large control panel makes it super easy to customize my coffee just the way I like it. I can adjust the mode, strength, temperature, and cup size effortlessly. Plus, the built-in grinder allows me to fine-tune the grind size to my preference. Although there are 3 icons indicating grind levels, the adjustment is actually stepless, giving me full control. All these options let me brew a cup of coffee that perfectly matches my taste. One of my favorite features is the programable auto brew. With just a few taps on the control panel before bed, I can wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee for the whole family. It’s a small effort for a big reward! I also really trust this brand. Even though it’s relatively new, I first bought their espresso machine with a bit of hesitation but was impressed by the quality and customer service. That positive experience led me to purchase this coffee maker, and I couldn’t be happier with it!
Looks a lot cooler than it actually is. This machine really takes quite a while to brew. The writing is already wearing off of the buttons and the bold button sticks. The coffee it puts out is decent.
Esta cafetera tiene todo lo que necesito, hace rápido el café, de gran capacidad. Al principio puede ser un poco tedioso ver tanto botón pero hay que leer las instrucciones de uso me hizo fácil.
Technically it works, but the opening at the top is so small you need a funnel to fill it. Trying to use your coffee cup to fill it will guarantee it spills. If you accidentally pour water where the kcup/filter goes, it immediately dumps out onto the drip tray.
10 cup coffee maker with self grinding option. Grinder is handy and can be set to the number of cups you’d like to make. However, the grinder is extremely loud. Coffee maker is taller than standard makers but still fits under a cabinet.
The coffee pot feels solid, is of good quality, looks good, has a large capacity, and won't wobble when placed flat on the coffee machine. The cover is removable, although it is not convenient for cleaning, but the cover can be removed so that you can clean the inside. The handshake is made of plastic, so you don’t have to worry about burning your hands, and the handshake is very sturdy. Overall, they are very good products and worth recommending.
This is the Best Coffee Maker !! Coffee is very hot and tastes great !! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for Great Coffee !!
Purchase this in September used it weekly after about 4 months it had a crack but was still able to use it and tonight after cleaning it it completely cracked out the bottom I’m a little ticked $50 out the window and no refund I understand it’s been four months but I thought it would last a bit longer! HOWEVER, I emailed Zulay directly at 1am, and by 1:15 am got an email back they are sending out another, they have a lifetime guarantee! Their customer service is TOP NOTCH so nice so prompt!!!
I really like the coffee maker & the coffee it produces. I also like the various different settings. It is very easy to use & fits under the cabinets nicely. It's sorta tall & you need to pull it out to fill it, but that's not a big deal for me. I've only owned it for about 8 months now & the one issue I do have is when the coffee maker was 3-4 months old the hot plate started to rust. The rust transfers to the carafe & anything that you set the carafe down on gets the rust on it too. If it wasn't for that I would have given it 5 stars.
Got it as a gift. Made two brews that came out pretty good until the day I washed it with TAP hot water and it cracked all the way up the side of it. Horrible quality unless you want to never clean it. I wish I could get the $35 back for the person that got it for me. You can see in the photo it originates from the spigot and goes through the G and E all the way up the side. Also, if it was too tight, then it came out of the box that way because I pulled it straight out of the box and started using it.
This coffee machine is excellent! It's user-friendly, easy to clean, and maintain. It's made of durable material and produces a strong and creamy froth with the cappuccino maker. The coffee is served under pressure, and it also has the bonus of low water consumption. I highly recommend it!
Makes strong full strength coffee, quick. Well made, clean looks, keeps it warm for a while . Me likey.
I work for lift operations at a ski valley and we needed something simple, inexpensive and reliable for the lift shacks on the mountain. This fit the bill! Easy to clean removable basket, on/off switch, large capacity. They’re used everyday and we have t had any problems yet.
