Keurig pods don't work for me anymore. Over the years, my coffee intake has increased significantly and what started as a joke mug became my everyday mug. Not only would this mug not fit in a Keurig, but it simply isn't enough coffee to get me going. It takes me over half an hour at least to brew enough pods, one at a time, to fill my mug. And I'd have to stay awake the whole time doing it....that's a challenge itself. This 12-cup coffee maker does the trick, despite not actually being 12 cups. 12 cups would be 96 oz in US measurements but the 12-cup mark here is less than 64 oz. Once I add the cream and sugar though, I get right up to 64 oz. The coffee maker isn't big enough to brew straight into my mug either but it fills the pot for me while I'm sleeping, starting 10 minutes before my alarm goes off. Then I just pour the whole pot in my mug and I'm good to go. The filter is washable and reusable so cleaning is a breeze. It doesn't spill or leak and it takes just a few minutes the night before to set everything up for the next morning. There is only 2 things that I think they could do better to make this coffee maker absolutely perfect. The cord needs to be a bit longer. Sitting on my desk at waist height, it barely reaches my surge protector directly under it without lifting the surge protector off the ground. Second, the top of the coffee maker has large open vents and there isn't any seal around the lid so overnight the coffee loses some of its freshness. It's a trade-off that I am willing to pay for coffee brewed right before I wake up, but it would be better if the top were sealed better so that it stayed fresher prior to brewing.

This has been great until I tried washing it while it was still warm and with running hot water. The coating has completely peeled horribly. Functionally it works but otherwise I do not recommend.

  • I love the stainless steel look of this coffee maker. Its very easy to clean. So many neat features my old coffee maker didn't have. The water reservoir is removable for easy hand washing. The mesh filter inside has line indicators to tell you how much coffee to use for however many cups you want to make. I love the default warmer setting that keeps the coffee warm for up to 2 hrs without burning it. Love it!

I just got this today, 8/9/2019. I absolutely love this. I bought this because I was tired of wasting coffee in my normal coffee pot. I cleaned this before I used. Easy to clean so far. Easy to read instructions. Best coffee I've had. Also got a sample 6 pack coffee pods. But I used my Starbucks coffee pods. This is a real review from a real person. Not paid.

  • So I really like this brewer and you can use the grounds twice which is a money saver. However the glass is super thin and while washing I hit the edge of the sink and it broke. 👎🏻👎🏻

I used it almost every day for four months and it made a delicious cup of coffee. However, the pitcher lid fits too tight on the glass which caused the glass from the pitcher top to break off making the latte maker unusable. I don't know if it was an issue only with the pitcher that I received but I'm skeptical of investing in another one because of the pitcher build quality.

My niece has a Nespresso machine and in one of my visits to her house she made me a coffee and that’s all it took. Best purchase I’ve ever made. At first, I wasn’t too convinced on the color but when it arrived I’m glad I bought it in red. It’s a beautiful red color. I love the sleek look and how the water compartment can be moved to either side of the machine. So easy to use and in no time you have an extremely delicious cup of coffee. I’m not lying when I say it’s delicious, I used to be a big tea drinker but I have now crossed over to the dark side, LOL!!!!

I ordered this coffee maker as an upgrade to my 10-year-old 8 cup coffee maker. Upgrade may not be the correct description. This Mr. Coffee maker has more features and a larger capacity. I also like that it takes up less counter space and has a delayed brewing option and a hot plate timed warming option. The button options are intuitive and easy to operate. I still may not have the correct ratio for water to coffee grounds dialed in for my taste. The coffee is OK, but for now, not as good tasting as my old unit makes. This unit is not heavy duty and the plastic frame is fairly thin and cheap feeling. The 14-cup carafe is good and pores well. I never realized how much a 14-cup carafe full of coffee weighs. I continued to look through the box for what I thought was the missing manual. A 1-page sheet was included but certainly this could not be all the directions. It did not help that I went to YouTube and looks at some videos of this coffee maker and saw that a multi-page, printed manual was included. Well, not any more. There is a link on that 1-page sheet that allows you to download a detailed manuel. Definitely do that. The 1-page sheet is completely inadequate for the first-time user of this coffee maker in my opinion. The 1 page manual shows a coffee to water ratio of 1 tablespoon coffee to 1 cup water which is completely different than the detailed manual recommends. The other issue I have is that the 1-4 cups brewing button does not appear to work on my unit. I can never get the light to turn on when I select that option. I doubt I’m doing anything wrong that is preventing that from working. Overall, for the price, it’s a decent coffee maker with a large capacity and relatively small footprint. It’s easy to operate and clean. I doubt this will last 10 years. My old unit still works fine, I just wanted something that takes up less counter space and had more capacity.

I’m a woman of habit and although I moved the furniture around in my room once a month, I am extremely loyal on keeping other things just the same. For years I’ve been drinking “The Donut” coffee using my K Slim every single morning. But here comes coffeemakers.us.com Prime Deals to tempt me once again, so I decided to give “iced” a shot. I like the design, doesn’t take up much space on the counter and the color looks neat and clean. Even the exterior and color of the black one I have looks brand new. Because it’s compact, I keep the black one in my room on my desk. I know I like my Donut coffee so I used the Açaí Refresher instead. I appreciate that it takes about a minute to brew. I was expecting the water to brew room temperature, but it came out hotter than warm but cooler than coffee. Wish it didn’t but it’s meant to extract as much flavor as possible with the temperature. Still, don’t like that it melted much of my ice. I also wish it brewed 20 oz because, at least the strawberry açaí, tasted a bit too condensed. To have it just the way I like it, next time I’ll top the 24 oz cup with ice, brew the açaí, pour it into the ice then add 10-12 oz of cold water and possibly some coconut milk. Regardless of these details, I like that I can still brew my extra hot coffees using the same machine.

While it does it's work being coffee, it falls miserably in quality and engineering. Why would a coffee maker with a thermos can have a heading coil under the thermos can, except to waste electricity? Why would a machine that most buy to save electricity have a permanently lit up display, for no other reason than to increase the consumption of electricity? This forces us to unplug the coffee maker after every use. But even if you ignore both because you don't care about your bills - just take a look at the buttons. The holes for the buttons are significantly too big which proves horrible producing tolerances. The plastic piece for the filter is so baldy engineered that it doesn't even slip into place. It actually takes me five to ten seconds every time just to fumble it back in after dumping the coffee filter. Another sign that the design was made by a blind six year old. The can itself holds the coffee warm for quite some time. Unfortunately, they've proven - once again - not to bother about efficiency or logical thinking by designing the can and lid in a way that you'll never be able to get "all" (meaning any reasonable amount apart from some drops) out of the can. Maybe I'm getting old and just remember what German engineering once was and am being naive hoping for something similar with an old and established brand in the US. Most of the problems could be solved easily, some would even save money. But for whatever reason, kitchenaid doesn't bother.

DO NOT BUY!! The product is advertised to be US compatible, however it is not. Both the box and the product itself clearly says that the product only works on 220-240V, which is a European standard. What is funny is that they thought they could make it work by including a tiny US adaptor in the box. The original device comes with a European plug and they included a US plug adaptor. Don't waste your money and time. My Christmas gift is ruined thanks to these guys.

  • By reusing an electric coffee pot holder, Mr. Coffee sits perfect on top of the pot. The coffee TASTE is so good!

  • The first one I purchased was missing the espresso handle so I returned it and requested a new one to be exchanged. The second one was filthy! It was covered in dust, stains, and had obviously been used a lot!

The best coffee maker on the go! I mainly use this for camping! I liked it so much I bought 3 so I can instantly brew coffee on 3 mugs at a time. It's definitely worth it and way better than the expensive brewers you see being advertise which is a total ripoff! This also filters all the coffee ground entirely and leaves your cup with a clean black coffee! No residue! Washable and can instantly reuse it. Good quality! JUST BUY IT ALREADY!

Coffee maker was delivered and when we opened the box it was a used coffee maker. I’m not talking about used once, it looks like coffee stains that are 10 years old. Had to return and reorder. Will update review once we get a coffee maker that is brand new. This is horrible quality control! See attached pictures
