Finally thought I'd found the perfect Keurig... It will remember your preferred settings! It plums into the wall! It looks great! No fluf... but then... The second day you have it you'll regret it. Want a quick cup in the morning? Too bad! You gotta wake it from sleep. Then wait 5 minutes for it to warm up. Oh what's that you say? Just put the kcup in and hit the button? Who cares if it takes a few extra moments? Hahaha! DOUBLE too bad. You have to stay right next to it for it to warm up. THEN put the kcup in. NOT BEFORE YOU IDIOT! Who would possibly want easy coffee in the morning? Clearly not anyone that is willing to pay $$$ for what could have been an amazing coffee maker. PS: To solve this issue, put the sleep timer as high as it goes (4 hours). Then buy a 15a plug timer from coffeemakers.us.com. Set it to cycle the power once every four hours. It works but it's ridiculous that there's no setting to keep the thing ready 24/7. *sigh*
Received machine, plugged it in and clock doesn’t light up. Is almost worthless without display being visible. $63 basically wasted
This is a great product... looks exactly like a miniature version of the Chemex I had in the 70's! Holds 3 good-sized cups of coffee. You're pretty much limited to Chemex filters as neither basket filters nor the Melita kind work (water goes through too fast or they fall through). The down side of the Chemex half-moon FP-1 filters (and probably the square ones as well, is that the point goes way down into the beaker, so if you want to make more than a cup, the tip of the filter is in the coffee. I solved it by folding over the tab and then folding the bottom up again before I made the final fold (see picture.) Water takes a little longer to pass through, but you can get a full 3 cups without dunking the filter.
Best work investment I have purchased so far! I’m a firefighter and like to have coffee on the line late at night or early mornings and this product handles just that!! On medium it takes about 20min to make 10 cups and runs out of water. You have to pour in an additional 8oz of water to get 12 cups. On high it takes about 30min same scenerio. Not a complaint but if you want coffee you gotta start it early. The video and picture was testing it. I have used it twice since then with no issues so far. Thanks!!
Lid screw is exposed to hot steam every time when you are making coffee, it is corroded on arrival in the package. Why this manufacturer can’t find a non corrosive screw for the lid handle. I need to use a ceramic salad plate to cover the top.
I had this product--6 cups--four four months when the top cracked and split at the pouring spout from a gentle tap of a pan against it. When I called Chemix they told me that it is not warranteed against breakage and they would not replace it, discount a new purchase or help me in any way. I offered a coy of my receipt and a photo of the carafe to no avail. Tacky. So rather than buy a new one I will purchase a Melita type porcelain dripper which I believe will avoid having this problem reoccur.
This is an excellent cold brew system. Firstly, I’ve seen a review that says it overflows when filtering into the glass holder; that’s simply not the case if you follow the directions. As instructed, I used 175g of large ground beans and 800g of water. This is a ratio to make concentrate and then can be later diluted to your strength preference. Secondly, my personal preference is for a more fibrous filter, metal straining will always transmit more sediment and natural coffee oils. The Oxo paper filters fit perfectly in this, even though the system is totally functional with the mesh strainer as is. Easy to clean and store when not in use, it looks nice for serving and prep, and it is well designed. The “rain fall” topper is a nice addition that ensures fully saturated coffee grounds.
This could be very lengthy, but I’ll try to “make it short” This is our third coffee pot from coffeemakers.us.com in a short four months. The first two were replacements for a flex brew Hamilton Beach. Those pots had an apparently KNOWN issue of the warmer plate not working. I failed to keep the first box, so you can imagine how much trouble returning the pot to coffeemakers.us.com actually caused…. So, after repackaging and ordering the second, I kept the box to return the second, just in case.. and amazingly the pot was also defective. We decided that since we had always had good luck with our other Cuisinart appliances, we should spring for a little pricier pot and go for their comparable one. If you don’t already know, let me assure you that customer service is completely NONEXISTENT this day and time. We register all of our appliance purchases, so they did recognize our purchase. We have contacted Cuisinart by email, and they have put us in a back and forth emailing mode, (I believe), to put us off and tire us out. Hoping we will just move on. The coffee pot leaks ALL the time. My husband, and my brother are both Engineers, so it has been thoroughly inspected by both double EE’s. The company wanted us to “descale” the unit. We complied, even though we use bottled water to fill it, and have only used it for three months. It has leaked since day one. But then, the holidays, company in the house, and two grown ups who can’t function without their morning Joe, we have finally gotten around to spending the hours of dealing with “customer service”. After much trouble, trying everything they can suggest to figure it out, doing everything the manufacturer suggested, we finally removed the bottom plate, and discovered it was full of water. This could kill someone. As I am writing this review, my husband tells me that they will send a new one after we send them a picture of the pot with the cord cut. Do not buy this pot unless you have a “spare”, or read all reviews and know they are factual. I read the other reviews, and their complaints are legitimate as well. Update, received the new pot in record time! It has functioned as intended so far.. Thank you Cuisinart.
I love the aero press I even take it on travels with me; that's how convenience it is for me to make coffee ☕️ on the road!
Fairly simple to use. Cleaning isn't difficult, as most hands can fit through the top. The filter can be cleaned with a bottle brush. Since it seemed like thin glass, I kept the box(and all the foam) for storage, while not in use. It's a good thing, too. Maybe I got a bad one, but this product didn't last 6 weeks from the purchase date. I just put it down on my old tiled kitchen counter and the glass chipped. (Luckily it was a small chip and I had some bottles nearby to pour the coffee that was falling out). Thankfully, coffeemakers.us.com was still going to take it back, even though it's "not under warranty"(probably a poor translation from the coffeemakers.us.com agent, but still unnerving to hear). I'm not going to purchase another one of these, even though I really liked the design and it's convenience. Probably get a mason jar one, since I know those are durable.
Love this machine! Grinder works well and makes a mean cup of coffee or espresso. My only complaint is that the water reservoir is small and needs frequent refilling. Otherwise, being able to grind enough coffee for just one cup at a time is truly amazing. This am machine is a more affordable often too other automatic espresso machines like the Philips. I did a lot of research and found this gem! I’m glad I did because it does everything I want it to and at an affordable price.
This was a fantastic addition to my morning routine. It’s as easy as filling the filter with your choice of grounds and then filling with water. In the fridge overnight and you have coffee on the fly. The design is solid and quality is great.
Muy efectiva
Get what you pay for. 🤦🏽♀️ First off, package received was beat up. Well secured in the box. Can’t complain. Wasn’t broken. I had to return the item. It didn’t work. The spout where the water filters through was completely sealed. Defect. I came downstairs and realized the coffee hadn’t brewed. Was upset cause I had a long day of work and had to function without coffee. 🤦🏽♀️ Perfect teal color. Had the potential to be great but wasn’t. Then it states, makes 4 cups, but not true. It was the size of my kids kitchen play set. At most you can get 2 cups of coffee. If it worked. Very disappointed.
