After our old Braun coffeemaker stopped working, I did some research for a replacement. At first I was looking at the typical value priced coffeemaker’s as spending $299 expensive. But after reading the glorious reviews, I decided to visit the company’s website. From there, I called their customer service department and spoke to a knowledgeable technician who helped me select this exact model based on our usage. This coffeemaker uses standard #4 coffee filters and makes the best coffee that we ever made at home. When you consider that quality coffee beans are at least $12/lb. it makes sense to invest in a quality coffeemaker that comes with a 5 year guaranteed.

Unboxed it, plugged it in. No display. Tried resetting. Returned it, got a replacement. Display doesn’t work on that one either. Junk.

  • Coffee lover, here. This cup makes a great companion. It seems well made and has a good look. I like the self-stirring option and the grip on the cup. The thermostat on the lid is helpful. The coffee stays hot longer than a regular mug, which is a plus and the strap is useful. There were no instructions Included (instructions only on the box), so there was a learning curve. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on, but read another review and realized you need to remove the small sticker first. Good size for my daily cup of coffee. Overall, I like it.

It makes an excellent cup of coffee. The included thermal carafe is hard to clean and doesn’t pore very well BUT it keeps the coffee hot. I use it when company comes over. I ended up purchasing this BUNN carafe separately and use it most of the time when making smaller batches.

Electric espresso makers typically cost $100 or more. This one makes good, strong espresso and even has the steamer attachment for less than half that. I make cappuccinos and frappucinos at home now instead of going to Starbucks. The steamer wand is slightly annoying to clean because it takes so long to screw the tip on and off, but for $30, who's complaining? Just make sure you get the top screwed on tight. I didn't quite get it tight enough once, and it weirdly made the steamer wand suck the milk into the water reservoir.

  • I love it! Works great, simple to use, and make wonderful Espresso.

Bought new April 2022. Leaks. Purchased old one three years ago and recently started leaking. New one started leaking after a few uses.

While I enjoyed this one in tandem with my Takeya cold brew maker, this one lasted me a whole 6 months. While cleaning this glass pot, the handle gentle hit the side of the kitchen sink and it broke as you see on the picture. I've had my cheap $10 coffee pot take way more abuse than this one which lasted me 5+ years. I would look else where. ========================================================================================= *UPDATE I work in tech support and understand fully that with great support and care goes a long way. Bean Envy has contacted me three different times using three different methods (I did not notice their initial reply to this review) to make things right and ultimately sent me a new replacement. I commend their support and their stance behind their product, Thank you.

I really like the size of this cold brew pitcher and that it is compatible with my other mason lids. I love that when I am not using this pitcher for cold brew it also serves a multi purpose. in order to get the strongest coffee, I need to fill the grinds up pretty high. I am still tinkering around with the recipe of how much coffee grinds to put with water but I do let the coffee sit overnight for at least 12 hours to make a cold brew. I’m testing to see if I can make a very concentrated version that I can still pour over to make my iced flavored coffee. Overall, this is a great purchase that fits well on my refrigerator door and I love the convenience of having ice cold coffee when I need it.

  • The metal piece that pierces the top of the k-cup got pushed in with normal use, and it's stuck in there good. Bad design. Who knows - it might even fall out and then it could end up in your drink if you have bad luck. Not a nice way to wake up. I'm amazed it lasted this long --- maybe get the 3-year policy since based on other reviews, it seems quite likely to break. Otherwise, made acceptable coffee for a year (used once/twice a day); kept it clean as recommended. What I didn't like: - doesn't fit mugs taller than 4.25" - I have a few taller than this - it's easy to bump the switch on the side and turn it on by accident when doing other stuff nearby - slow to brew, but I got used to it

This is sturdy and stylish, coffee doesn't take long to brew and hot. Very pleased with this purchase and fairly priced. No problems at all.

Arrived filthy/used. Gross! This is clearly a used product that wasn’t even cleaned before reshipping. There’s coffee grounds in it, coffee residue on the lip and fingerprints/scratches on it. For such an expensive product (compared to other insulated French presses) I’m really disappointed. Is this what we’re to expect from this product’s/company’s quality? Makes me hesitant to pay so much for a coffee press.

  • I was initially pleased with the Espro press and the taste of the coffee I made with it. Over time, I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the basket design of the filter. I was initially skeptical of the combination of plastic and metal mesh, which eventually proved justified. I found that I needed to wait for at least 10 minutes for the coffee grounds to settle or the basket would be difficult to plunge, resulting in grounds in my cup. While the easy disassembly of the basket seemed useful to clean at first, it quickly became a chore compared to the layered disk style, which can usually be rinsed without disassembly. Finally, in less than two years using the Espro, the metal mesh has detached from the plastic cage of the basket. At this point, I don't feel the basket is worth replacing and will instead find a comparable press with a disk plunger and no plastic parts.
