  • This is a great little espresso machine! For the most part, it is really easy to use. Even for a beginner. The instruction manual helped a lot. Especially when I couldn’t understand why the espresso function wasn’t working after steaming the milk. It also comes with a small book of recipes to help start out making your own coffee house style drinks. The machine looks very streamlined and beautiful on the countertop. It isn’t the quietest, less messy, or easiest to clean, but it sure does look fancy! The water reservoir holds plenty of water for several coffees plus frothed and steamed milk. And it produces a very tasty cup of espresso. I’m really enjoying using this machine as a fancier addition to my caffeine routine.

I was previously drinking close to $20 in iced coffee at home each week so I purchased this to curb that habit, and I don’t think it’s taken a day off since 😂 It’s easy to clean, easy to use and makes both great quality and great tasting coffee at home. I love that the filter is easy to remove and clean and keeps grounds out of my coffee. I can make a gallon of iced coffee in about 48 hours!

Bought this for brewing loose leaf tea, works great. Cleans up nicely by hand or in the dishwasher

This is a great little coffee-maker for the price. When filled with water to the 4 cup line on the carafe… and add 2 coffee scoops of coffee grounds, this coffee-maker brews two full mugs of coffee. I find it a great size for two people who only want a single cup (mug) of coffee each at a time. The coffee is hot after brewing and remains hot. Although it comes with a re-useable mesh filter (which I find a little messy to clean), I purchased a pack of paper filters (1-4) at the grocery store for about $2 and they fit great. This model also has a timer which works well.

The release lever broke on second use. Brittle plastic and now utterly unusable —-I like oxo products a lot but this is the worst and a waste of money. It is outside the return window by a small amount or I’d return or see about exchange

I’m very disappointed, it arrived in a broken box and the item was also broken. It would not stand and hold the coffee filter. I’m returning it back.

  • 6/20/24 ****2nd UPDATE**** Back down to 1 star. See the latest pic of the “free” replacement the company sent. Broken upon receipt straight out of the box. Don’t buy this unless you’re ok replacing it over and over again. ****UPDATED**** Changed rating from 1 star to 4, simply for the pro active customer service. When Seller saw my review, they reached out and offered to replace this little cutie free of charge after several months of use. Giving it another go! Thank you, Seller**** I loved this thing; used it every day, several times a day until the wooden handle broke. It didn’t break when pouring, and I’m very thankful for that. I gorilla glued it, but am looking for another lead free press that won’t break. I never put this in the dishwasher; hand washed only.

Works great, but the rubber handle on the filter comes off way too easily. Today it slipped off while I was moving it to the sink after making coffee. The filter broke when it hit the floor, and hot, wet coffee grounds exploded all over my kitchen. There has to be a better design for the handle than a little rubber piece that slides off.

  • I absolutely love this coffee maker. Hands down the best I've had yet! I don't have a lot of counter space so I wanted a coffee maker with a grinder so I didn't have two appliances sitting on my counter. This is the perfect solution. Previously I had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew but it required so much daily maintenance and it stopped working after about a year and a half. So I decided my new one would have all the features I wanted. I wanted the ability to brew into a travel mug and still have the option of brewing into a kraft. During the work week we brew into our travel mugs before leaving for work, no wasted coffee and no coffee kraft to clean but on the weekends we use the kraft. This coffee maker fits our lifestyle perfect. It is so easy to use and the auto brew function allows me to set a travel mug to brew for my husband who occasionally goes into work before I get up. His coffee is brewed and ready when he leaves all he has to do is put on the lid. I can't imagine having another coffee maker!! The only complaint I have about this coffee maker is there are a lot of plastic parts and I've only had it for a couple weeks. I hope it holds up better than my last one or I'll be seriously disappointed!

I was skeptical about spending hundreds of dollars on a coffee maker, but after reading tons of reviews and drinking some fabulous coffee at my fellow Moccamaster owner’s home, I figured why not try one - we could always return it. My favorite coffee haunt is Philz and I realized it was unlikely I would be able (or willing) to re-create or invest in daily Philz coffee and calories, but my daily dose of bitter coffee wasn’t how it had to be. You know what they say about a bad smell...you get used to it. You can get used to mediocre coffee too. I conversed with the hubby and he decided it was time for a change, which I was shocked by since he is the last person to get excited about a pricey cup of coffee. Maybe he was just sick of me complaining about how disappointing my coffee was since I’d given up my beloved poison (I mean creamer), or maybe he was finally ready for that magical cup too. All nonsense aside, the hubby saw this on a BF special and next thing you know I’m drinking a smooth cup of joe without a side of bitterness. Literally or figuratively. Now we are excited to hunt down the perfect roasted beans worthy of our new morning gadget. I’ve read tons of reviews full of technical details, joys and complaints regarding this java maker, but from a simple lay person who really loves coffee, my verdict is it’s worth it. Why? I love my coffee sweet and creamy, so I thought I wouldn’t appreciate the difference, but the exact same coffee brewed in this pot tasted 100% better than what we brewed yesterday in the “other” pot. I was actually a little shocked because I kind of thought people were being a little pretentious and it was more of a placebo effect. I was wrong. The coffee aficionados were right. Thank goodness we took their advice. Bye bye Cuisinart. It’s been a good ride, but this girls wants more.

Brewer failed with the error "Sorry Brew Interrupted" on the fourth cup of coffee. The problem is not the coffee maker but it is a good possibility that it is a result of air in the k-cup pods. The air trapped in the pod and it will contaminate the needle, I am guessing that the air when the pod is penetrated results in the needle being blocked/contaminated. If the top of the k-cup pod is raised and does not give when you press on it there is a possibility that the pod is air bound. If you are experiencing this error put the pod into the device and push down on it before closing the device. When you push down on the pod a hole will be made in the bottom and the air will be released. I replaced a K575 that was well used for this problem. It appears that my old coffee maker will work if I release the air from the k-cup pods. I have not re-installed by old K575 to test my theory. FYI I am using Costco K-Pods. Picture of error message attached.
