We bought this to put in our camper. We wanted something that did not take up a lot of valuable counter space and this looked about right. It was perfect. It takes up less space than the Keurig Mini, but this has a water reservoir and we don't have to add water after each cup. The real test was how well it would make coffee. I wanted to make sure it could brew a strong cup and it did not disappoint. It is even faster than our regular Keurig. And delivers the full amount! We are considering another one for the house. This was easy to setup and easy to use. I like the included filter with handle that let's me use whatever coffee I want. Keurig has that, too, but that one does not work with this maker. 100% satisfaction with this coffee maker bt Instapot. We highly recommend it!

  • This is a very slow drip coffee maker, especially the single serve option. It also makes a mess depending upon the cup used, mostly a regular 8oz size. It is a basic coffee maker & does not beep when done, or have settings for # of cups to be made in the carafe. You must make sure you only put the amount of cups wanted in the reservoir. Downgraded to this type maker due to the expense of kcups. The adjustment is worth it, though minus this product. Would not buy this particular model again.

Bonavita missed a perfect opportunity to position this 5 cup unit as also being a excellent "single mug" brewer. Fill to the 3 cup line, brew and get one mug at a time. Fresh ground coffee is easier to pour into a #4 filter than a k-cup and it can hold many time what a k-cup can. The carafe comes out when brewing for others. Think Keuirg 2.0, just so much better.

The glass beaker slipped from my hand, fell less than an inch, and broke upon hitting the counter. I've notified Bodum customer support, however, previously we had to replace another (different model) French press due to it leaking, and it took months to get a response. I'm hoping they will respond faster this time. Given this issue and past customer support delays, I can't say I recommend this product. The press itself works great otherwise, which is the only reason I'm not giving 1 star. I will update and change my review pending the customer support response.

  • This little barista is just perfect. Made a cup of Cappuccino and it was good. Easy peasy. Coffee is Great! You get the full body COFFEE. Totally

Keurig hit it out of the park with this one. Simple and elegant. Works quickly. Very easy to use. Milk frother works amazingly well. Can brew coffee or a shot of espresso. It’s no Jura but it’s very good. Any downside? Not enough to prevent me from recommending it... but here are a few things Keurig could improve on: 1. Water reservoir lid: you have to take it off to fill it. Why not just flip it up? It’s a minor thing, but it’s something I deal with every time I brew. You fumble and lift it out of there. Then you have to set it down somewhere and you have to put it back when you’re done. Unnecessary steps in what should be a very simple process. 2. Quite a few button clicks. I think there’s one or two more than my other Keurig. It would be nice if it just remembered your last brew. Nope: you’re supposed to select “coffee” “strong” the “size” and then “start.” Technically you don’t have to choose “coffee” but that’s not immediately apparent. Most people will figure that out eventually. You have to press “Start” when other Keurig's just start when you select the size. I think that’s because of the espresso option. So it might be necessary but it’s kind of a clumsy design. They could just have the sizes listed including the espresso shot. 3. Software is a little buggy... I occasionally have to shut it down and reboot. 4. I leave a cup under it because it looks better with a cup under it. It’s a really nice looking machine, but it looks like it’s missing something when there isn’t a cup underneath it. In my opinion. Don’t let me scare you. This is a GREAT machine. I’m not really that particular, but I like sharing the particulars. Things i would want to know. ;-)

This machine was tough and inefficient to use before it exploded in my face. I tried many times to get the perfect cup but the machine was clumsy and the expresso was weak. After about a week of use, the machine redirected pressure while brewing to underneath the cup, sending the expresso and cup shooting off my face, onto the floor. I was burned by the expresso and my floor was damaged. I've filed for a refund but imagine I will not hear a bit of empathy about my floor or the time I've wasted now even writing this. The least I can do is save others... Don't buy this junk.

Update: After posting this review, it dawned on me to check the area (holes) where the water comes out from the heating element part to the capsule itself. I inserted a toothpick and did a little swirl. (See the photo) . It is now working again and I am a happy camper. Seller offered a refund but not needed now. I'm happy to figure this trick out. Original review: I had been Purchased in March 2024, used it for trips. Worked great till July. Heats the water but will not flow through to the capsule. Have cleaned it multiple times and still not working. Tried different brands of capsules also. I got my money's worth but will not repurchase.

  • Love this teapot. It heats water super fast. I use it multiple times a day. Love the carafe. I will never go back to Keurig. So much plastic and waste before for a subpar cup of coffee. This coffee tastes amazing. Make sure to get a coffee scale as well. 30g of ground coffee to 500g of water makes the perfect 18oz cup of coffee. It take close to 5min to slow pour which I was concerned I may not like but it’s so worth it I actually look forward to doing it in the morning.

  • The cold brew 2-quart mason jar coffee maker (ASIN: B0BXKRXT5H) makes a great pot of cold brewed tea. We do not drink coffee a lot here, but we like our tea. Hot tea. Cold tea. Morning, noon, and night tea. This unit performs well. The top seals well on the 2-quart mason jar and does not leak. The stainless-steel mesh retains the tea leaves, but allows the water to pass through. The jar is marked on the side with both metric and US markings, so handy. The glass of the jar is heavy weight, so it has a good feel to it and is unlikely to easily break. At 2 quarts this is a good size for making fresh tea for one to two people.

  • These are expensive and overly brittle. After tons of searching we found a $10 generic carafe at Walmart that works well with this Ninja coffee bar. It's already shown to be tougher than the Ninja carafe and even if it breaks it's a quarter of the cost... I added a picture in the event that it helps anyone find a better and cheaper replacement in the future.

Super easy to use. Has saved me a ton of money. I add 3 bottles of water, 6 scoops of Cafe Bustelo. After 12 hours I press it. Then I add unsweetened almond milk and non-dairy chocolate sugar free creamer and blend in my nutri bullet. Or I just add a splash of sweetened almond milk.

  • this is an awesome basic coffee maker. It is quick, quiet, and the coffee tastes great. Its also lightweight, which is important for me and the carafe has a nice wide handle to make it easier to hold. It comes with a basket filter so I don't even need to buy filters. Plus it was on sale on coffeemakers.us.com!

It clogs constantly and I find myself taking it apart for cleaning every two to three uses! I'm using only licensed Keurig cups! Very frustrating! I've tried every method in the book to prevent this from happening, but it just doesn't matter. This is a matter of a serious design flaw, period.

  • it came without Cold Brew Ball !!!
