This marine makes coffee fast but also overflows every time we use it. A guaranteed mess every time. We will be replacing as it is a very disappointing purchase.

Coffee is good, I like the ease of the process. Followed instructions, coffee brewed about 15 hours, but I have coffee grounds in my coffee somehow. I’ll try again and update.

A couple months after purchasing I noticed the digital display seemed to be getting dimmer. The brew button would light up as bright as when new but after 6 months, the clock and remainder of the display was so dim it was difficult to see. I called Cuisinart, and they replaced it with a warranty unit for a $39.00 shipping charge. Five months later we are in the same situation. Spending $78.00 per year during the three year warranty period to have a functional display does not seem like a reasonable solution. Brew function worked fine, although coffee does not stay hot in carafe for very long. Photos show the display, and the display with the brew light illuminated for comparison.

  • Beautiful pottery and very bummed when I opened to see that they are actually grey in color NOT black as listed. I hope photos help others, I bought with no product reviews hoping they were as posted. Will be returning.

  • Me encantó!! Es mejor que en las fotos, la amo, es preciosa y hace muy bien el café, recomiendo seguir las instrucciones antes del primer uso y su mantenimiento. También llegó súper bien empacada y antes del tiempo estimado de entrega.

I live in Seattle and the coffee at Starbucks is getting to be too expensive. I had been researching the easiest way for me to do this at home. The reviews on the kitchen aid seemed to be the best. I got this at Christmas and have been using it regularly. It took me a couple tries to perfect the concentrate. I went through a batch quicker since I didn’t use enough coffee. I may just like my coffee stronger. My current batch is decaf. I wanted some coffee in the late afternoon without the caffeine. I’m sipping on it now and I love it. This is very easy to clean and use. This cold brew maker is great!

Hipster? Yeah sorta. A little involved? Yeah a bit. Good tasting coffee? Absolutely! There are endless videos of people using scales, timers and all this stuff. IMO you don't need all the extra gear to brew unless you have some wildly sensitive tongue. I tried the timers and the scales, I couldn't taste the difference, it's great either way lol. Couple basic instructions. Get their filters, do the filter rinse, do the bloom first, and don't stress on the rest honestly. Now you'll notice getting a lid that doesn't suck is (oddly) harder than you would think. I did this 4" cork ball, works great for me! Sure it's not made to be a lid, but whatever, looks nice, it's cork and seals all but the pour channel. AQUANIMOUS 4" Cork Massage Ball Natural Firm Ultra-Light Eco-Friendly Hips, Shoulders, Chest Large Size Massage Ball (4" Ball) You should get a Chemex, it's great!

Igual a la greca manual pero es conveniente ver cuando ya termina de colar café y mas segura sin fuego.

Needed to replace a regular coffeemaker for the house. My husband wanted to get something a little nicer than our last one. After looking on coffeemakers.us.com for awhile, we decided on this Ninja and I am not disappointed!!! The ONLY complaint I have is the splattering and condensation that other reviews mention, but I have to say I don't mind wiping the coffeemaker down in exchange for everything Ninja did RIGHT on this coffeemaker. First, the single cup modes... I used to have a Keurig and never really liked it. The pods were wasteful and the reusable pods were messy. This is so EASY. I actually have made more coffee this way than I thought I would! The half pot and full pot brewing modes work just as well. Taste is phenomenal! For single cup, half pot, and full pot modes! I have never been disappointed. The built in scoop was something I thought was unnecessary, but it's now one of my favorite features. And wow.... cold brew mode. A feature I DEFINITELY didn't think I needed, but it is so nice to skip Starbucks in the afternoon and make iced coffee at home. I am never going back to a regular coffee maker.

  • I plumbed the Ninja CFP201. It took some geometric manipulation but it works great. I've been using the setup for several months and it's great not having to continuously refill the container manually.

  • I like that it's short. Makes it easier to out into my little fridge we use for things like this. So far, it's not leaked and kid seems to think it's brewing well.

I can't go a day now without using it and making myself a coffee. It is very easy to store and move around the kitchen. It came very well packed and ready to use. It's only me so I have not filled it up all yet. Not a keurig but I feel I can really taste more of the coffee beans with it

I really liked the coffee maker but when I removed the manufacturer’s box from the shipping carton the coffee maker fell out of the bottom of the box and hit the floor. See pictures. The box was not secured in the bottom with tape. Thus I have returned the item. I cannot rate the coffee maker it’s self because I didn’t use it due to the damaged item.

I have Bodum Santos in electric version which discontinued long time ago and really like the taste from vacuum brewing method. I almost ordered Hario but I am glad that I got this one. The size (22OZ) is perfect for my need. The price is just about half of Hario or Bodum, and can be used on electric stove top. The glass quality seems to be very good. However I don't like the idea of cloth filter so I ordered the paper filter set from Hario (Filter Paper Hario Siphon Import and it fits perfectly. Really recommend if you want to try vacuum brewing method.
