Well made
Love this Press!! Only I’d love better was if you could actually take the glass out (but it is pretty well protected) to fully clean the bottom so the silver plated inside could be fully cleaned and not stain. For the full price I might not have been as happy for the foregoing observation and that the handle looks like it could come detached after time. But we shall see. For the sale price great product! Almost for got to say one of the most impressive features: the filter screens are very thick - heavy duty!! For a French Press that is one of the most important features to me!!! Very easy to clean and love how the screen and plunger come apart so easily!! Five starts ***** for that as well!! Very satisfied with purchase.
Only holds 2 measuring cups of water
The main reason I chose this coffee pour over is it’s clean. No plastic or tubes you cannot clean. The flavor is great and easy to use!
**UPDATE: I have changed from 3-star to 5-star. After my complaint, customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement machine (no charge). The replacement made a hot cup of espresso from cold water so the first machine must have been defective.*** My Everange Portable Espresso Maker arrived intact in adequate packaging. After multiple attempts at deciphering the instructions I finally managed to extract a weak, lukewarm liquid. My second attempt had better results. Still lukewarm, but the machine managed to extract a decent amount of flavor from my grounds. I did not use the capsule feature as my capsule was too tall to fit into the adapter and close properly. (It was a Publix Expresso pod) Finally made a shot using hot water and that came out best. Smooth taste, no bitterness and hot. Although I purchased this for occasional power outages, I'll be using this at work. Perfect for making a shot of expresso at my desk during that afternoon slump.
This is a beautiful addition to my kitchen and my morning routine! It has inspired me to experiment with different types of coffees. In the past, I've always purchased basic and cheap coffee makers, replacing them often. Considering that this is an item used daily in my household, the Braun MultiServe is a wonderful investment. All the different functions are easy to use. The options are many, from one cup at a time, half carafe, full carafe, various temperatures, hot coffee, iced coffee and so much more. I was surprised at how simple it is to program and how quickly the coffee brews. I'm so glad I made the upgrade and would highly recommend it. Now my kitchen is a coffee Bistro. I love it! and how quickly the coffee brews. I'm so glad I made the upgrade and would highly recommend it. Now my kitchen is a coffee Bistro. I love it!
We like the functionality of this coffee maker. It is easy to use and makes a good cup of brewed coffee. The brewing basket is removable. There is a window on the side that allows you to see how much water is in the water receptacle. This brewer has "VORTEX TECHNOLOGY" which is said to saturate coffee grounds effectively, resulting in a richer coffee flavor. However, what plays a large role in coffee flavor is the quality of the coffee beans. Use quality beans, and you'll get better flavored coffee. We found that this coffee brewer is somewhat pricey. You may be able to find other brands at a lower price that will make coffee as good as or better than this one.
This is a very cute gold ole coffee maker. It is well made and looks amazing on the kitchen counter. The o ly downside is the size, it is a little small and can hardly make than two coffee cups. Otherwise it is great
Comparing this to my other French press coffee makers that are roughly half the cost. Taste - no difference Keep coffee hot - no difference Appearance - looks sleek and fancy for first month, then looks like crap as the black stays to peel off Overall, this is at best as good as French press that is half the cost, but slightly worse after a month of use
THE BEST! I am ordering for cabin and office! So easy to clean out grounds, just unscrew bottom and they fall out and filter rinses easy and clean. I used regular ground, bag coffee from market and no grounds got through filter into coffee. Can adjust stength after by adding fresh cold-filtered water.
Received with damaged box but coffee maker was fine. Works well. It should be shipped inside an coffeemakers.us.com box and not just the original packaging.
The good: It brews a fine cup or pot of coffee. It has a variety of water volumes for different sized cups. It beeps when the brewing is complete to let you know its finished. The bad: 1. After a while segments of the LED screen start to burn in (burn out). 2. The permanent filter is woven wire mesh and the mesh cracks were it goes into the plastic at both the top and bottom. 3. The CLEAN button is low on the unit, and too easy to press. If it goes into the cleaning cycle you're stuck with a long process with the carafe and filling the water chamber again. 4. It's hard to see which water volume setting the dial is turned to. The black line isn't visible enough when looking from above with reflections in the knob. 5. If you forget to check the water volume setting (and someone leaves it on a full pot) you'll have coffee all over your counter if you try to brew into a smaller vessel.
This review is for the “ Espresso Machine with LED Display, 20 Bar Espresso Maker Cappuccino Machine with Automatic Milk Frother for Cappuccino, Latte, Americano, ESE Pod Filter, Dual Heat System” This is a great espresso machine for the person who likes to use ground espresso and milk infused drinks. The milk can be stored in its container in the fridge, no need to wash a spout and a pitcher for using just 2 ounces milk. The machine works fast and the espresso drink selection is great. You also can double up. The grinds containers of my old machine were bigger and held more. The portions on this machine seem smaller and therefore the result tastes a bit weaker. One of my kids is visiting right now and loves a strong coffee drink in the morning and a nice hot tea at night. This machine had a separate water spout that is very handy for making tea. The price of $190 is a bit high for this no brand machine, the $30 coupon helps to bring it in the middle range of the competing unknown brand machines. This one will stay in my guest kitchen to be enjoyed by visitors.
It took a few tries for me to get this just right, but this espresso maker is pretty darn cool. You can use it with grounds or a pod - they give you two connectors to the machine. Basically it heats up water and provides the pressure to get the water through the grounds, so it's not going to be that much different than a countertop machine, other than they've created a fairly thoughtful way to take the machine on the road. I've tried both methods of warming the coffee, and I've landed on a preference of putting fairly hot water in to the reservoir and letting the machine heat it up the rest of the way to 198 degrees (that's 92c for our friends who use other units) and the provided cup does indeed take the heat. Each cup takes a couple of minutes, so it's probably best if you don't have several people waiting on their morning cappuccino from this machine, but for one person it's awesome. In my photos, I had just made a cup of espresso so the grounds are still in the container - I washed it out & took another picture so you can see the metal basin. One aspect I like is you can put the grounds in the night before, then in the morning it's ready to receive hot water. If you are the lone espresso fanatic who doesn't want to spend hundreds or more on a countertop machine, or if you like your espresso on the road and you're too far away from a barista, this is definitely the item for you!
Love this retro coffee maker! Works well, no issues or complaints, brews great coffee!
