I have ordered this for my daily use and came out perfectly as described. I would say this coffee machine is very easy to use, specially very easy to clean. The brew speed is quite good and I would say very easy to move around, not that heavy. Overall great coffee machine
What was I waiting for? I drink a lot of coffee. Now I've always had a glass pot coffee maker and briefly went down the keurig road (hated it.) After breaking my 3rd glass pot in the past few years I started looking into getting a stainless steel pot. I saw a few with a water reservoir but I decided against it. Good fresh water makes for good coffee. This one seemed to get good reviews so I ordered it. Boy am I glad that I did! The pot is huge (a lot of stainless steel pots were only 10 cups, this one makes 12.) The design is sleek and matches my kitchen so well. The auto feature is nice when I remember to actually prep it at night. There is a bold feature (yaasss!) The display will tell you how many minutes, up to 2 hours, have passed since it brewed. The best part however is the pot. It keeps the coffee warm for hours and hours. I have 4 kids and run a home daycare so I don't always get around to getting my 2nd and 3rd cups until hours after brewing. And I hate microwaved coffee! This coffee maker has been a life saver. I can have my early morning cup. Get thru my morning schedule and go back for a another cup and it'll be just as hot! No reheating! My only complaint is that I wish the filter was a cone shaped instead of basket. Just a personal preference of mine. (I think the chance for grounds getting into the brew increase with a basket filter that all.) But other than that this has been the best coffee maker I have ever bought.
I love it! I use mine for tea, rather than coffee. It makes enough tea for multiple people... In addition, what’s left doesn’t sit in the tea leaves.
Didn't abuse the coffee maker in any way, just this morning this tab stopped catching which meant the valve that allows coffee to flow into the carafe would not open any more because the basket isn't held low enough. less than one year after purchase.
This is a pretty press. Used it once for coffee today and once to make brewed tea to make iced tea. Honestly I wish I would have gotten one of these a while ago. I have no need to make a large pot of coffee. It’s perfect. I added the KIND bar for scale.
I initially was in the market for a 5 cup coffee maker as I’m the only coffee drinker in the house. But there’s very little good options out there for something that small so I decided to do some research. This one popped up on a lot of top five drip coffee makers. It’s easy to use out of the box; there’s the option for 1-4 cups of coffee for my needs. The carafe feels nice to hold and doesn’t spill when pouring into the water reservoir or pouring coffee into my mug. My first ever coffee maker which I replaced this one with was a cheap one that spilled everywhere so I thought this was normal. It’s nice to know quality comes with a little increase in price point in the $100 range. I’m 4,11” and have to tip toe a little to put the coffee into the gold basket but pouring it into the reservoir is fine for me. I like that you can easily find replacement filters, carafe and basket for this model. The coffee does not continue to drip onto the heater plate once you remove the carafe to pour your coffee so there’s no burns on the plate that’s hard to clean and builds up. Another quality of life improvement with the price point. It’s a nice modern looking machine that compliments our house well.
To be fair, it doesn’t claim to be dishwasher-safe but it also doesn’t say it *isn’t* dishwasher-safe. Obviously, it is t because this is what happened the first time I tried. Heartbreaking, because it really is (was) very pretty. Only deducting one star because it’s still a great little French press and I also feel like I should take responsibility for assuming it was dishwasher safe without verification…but I also feel that if this happens the first and only time I put it in the dishwasher, that maybe there should’ve been a disclaimer. I’ll probably replace it eventually, just because the missing paint irritates me every time I look at it. Again—great French press, beautiful color…but absolutely do NOT wash in dishwasher.
Just got it, haven't even made the first cup of coffee and I'm already annoyed. Came out of the box with dirty finger/hand prints on it, water filter instructions do not match coffee pot. These may be minor annoyances but a company that doesn't pay attention to the little things cannot really be trusted to get the bigger things right either.
I wanted to like this, I really did. So after a month of use, and not even everyday, the stainless reusable scree split into two. Looking at the two pieces, not even sure how these were attached together. See pictures. Definitely sending this back. I had another one by a different manufacturer but drips much slower that I gave to a family member. Might buy that one instead. DO NOT BUY!!
I didn't see if they used BPA free plastic although I've done a few test brews, I wouldn't use this long term without getting a better filter. The coffee taste is good and it's definitely hot enough. One thing: don't fill the reusable filter more than halfway or you'll be sorry. I don't have leaking problems so that's a blessing. It is very compact so it's perfect for an office or even cubical. I love the color, functionality, and ease of use. For the price, this is an excellent value if you absolutely need coffee during the day. One other note: wipe out the brewer basket area so it doesn't get funky after a few uses. Also leave the cup under for two minutes after brewing to make sure it's done dripping.
Easy to use. Reiner to turn it off after use to prevent burn on hot plate has no timer
I loved this pot for a while. It says do not separate on the bottom, so I always hand washed it. One day handwashing it, it shattered in my sink. So disappointed on how flimsy it was. I was already hand washing it and being super delicate with it.
The slant at the bottom is a nice little feature, and the 2 baskets. Edit, from a month or two later: The pitcher holds a gallon, but the coffee basket only holds 1.5 cups of grounds. So, if you are looking up recipes that say to use a 4:1 water:grounds ratio, you wouldn't put enough water in this to reach the basket. When I used it, I just filled the basket with coffee and filled the pitcher with water, topping it off after I had the basket in place because otherwise it would displace some water. I let it brew on the counter for 10 hours, then in the fridge another 4 hours, and the resulting cold brew is probably a little less concentrated than the other recipes, but tastes good. For serving (to myself) I do a little less than 1/2 water and ice, a little more than 1/2 coffee, and add some creamer. I hope you liked this update :)
This is a very cute French press set that is very affordable. But it's not packaged by the manufacturer well so unfortunately it arrived broken.
It says it's a 600ml coffee server which is roughly 20oz (or a starbucks Venti.) The material is good quality though I wouldn't drop it for fun. Looks professional and I really like the bronze option. I see why other reviewers complained about the filter. The glass basket is larger than the filters provided. As you can see in the photos, when the filter is wet it falls below the top of the glass filter holder. If you overfill the grounds get everywhere. This is solved by using a larger filter paper. The spout pours well and does not dribble. Cleanup is easy, simply dump the filter and grounds and give the glass a quick rinse. This is a great way to enjoy my more expensive coffee beans and not feel like I'm wasting grounds or coffee 😋
