  • The picture has the the cold brew pot and a glass container I use to put the made up coffee in. That way I can make another pot right away for the next morning. I use ground coffee, put eight Tablespoons in the strainer, fill with water and let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours. In the morning I strain the coffee through cheese cloth to get all the grounds out of my coffee.. This cold brew pot makes enough coffee for three people. The coffee is so good. The coffee is smooth and not bitter at all. I use less creamer now. The pot is easy to clean. I wash it by hand and very easy to use, just put in your grounds, fill with water, put in the fridge and I have Great tasting coffee in the morning. Wish I would have tried this years ago.

We have had it for about 8 months now, so we have run into quite a few things that are just plain odd design choices. 1) The top area that shoots the water down is so close to the coffee, about 10% of it splashes back up onto the water spouts and is a plain to clean because they are raised up. (see photo 2) 2) The coffee maker will go off at the set time, whether the top is closed or not(the part that shoots the super hot water). We once left it up on accident getting it ready the night prior, and woke up to a very wet kitchen floor. Cannot imagine if someone was in there when it happened. The fact there is no safety check to see if the door is closed before shooting water out is beyond me. We had a Ninja coffee maker and you had to have it perfect or it would warn you on any small issue. 3) Back to the splash up of the coffee grounds when they are hit with the hot water, they also fall down the door when you open it, into an area that is pretty much impossible to clean well and just holds lots of grounds and coffee residue. It makes this extremely annoying to clean completely. (see photo 1 after a fresh round was just done) 4) The water filter makes no sense. It is at the bottom of the water area, but there is a gap between the bottom and where the filter sits and where the water goes through...now correct me if I am wrong, but it is supposed to be a pass through filter but has a gap below it? What makes the water pass through it. Or I got a faulty filter holder. (see photo 3 - I had removed the filter to show the gap below it) Now, if all this won't bother you, then it isn't a bad coffee maker. I love the way it holds the coffee and keeps it warm over a few hours vs a carafe. I just can't deal with the much added work around it. I check coffeemakers.us.com every few months to see if they came out with a "pro" version, or one that doesn't have all these horrible design decisions. Alas, guess we go back to a ninja with a metal carafe.

I've had Keurig coffee makers since they first came out. Some have lasted years, others not so much-- as the years pass, the newer models don't last as long (one quit after only two weeks). The convenience is good, but I also like to use my own coffee, so I bought a pair of official Keurig K-Cup reusable filters. I will say that this is the worst Keurig coffee maker I've ever owned. I meant to send the thing back, but ended up traveling and returning home one day after the return period had expired. This Keurig drips, dribbles, leaks, and generally makes a huge mess. If you don't make sure that your cup is pushed all the way to the back and against the coffee maker, get ready to clean up. A half inch of space will get you photographs 1 and 2. Coffee will splatter onto the coffee maker and down the side of your cup, filling the catch basin below it. In photograph 2 you can see how the leaked coffee spreads all the way around to the side of the coffee maker. Your cup is sitting in it, so you have to put the cup on a paper towel or get coffee all over your counter or table. To make a bad situation worse, the thing is almost impossible to clean-- you can't get your fingers in there adequately. Even the reusuable filters end up a mess-- grounds everywhere as if the coffee maker full force blows hot water into it. After the coffee is finished, the coffee maker will still drip and dribble for some time. You can't turn the coffee maker off, so there are bright white-- and really irritating-- flashing lights (you can see them in photograph 2) for five minutes. If you want to stop them, your only option is to unplug the coffee maker. This Keurig coffee maker is so aggravating and messy, it makes me want to never buy a Keurig again.

  • It was working great until this morning. I was making my usual early coffee and I heard a little pop. Then I realized it had cracked.

I have not had some of the issues that others have had, however, I think the quality control and manufacturing processes are deteriorating. I received one of these units and noticed that it rocked back and forth. I looked at the bottom and noticed that there were two round holes where rubber feet should be inserted. The front had the rubber feet, but the back did not. And there were two plastic spur in the center that were high, so the unit rocked back and forth. I tried to get the rubber feet, but this is a lost cause on coffeemakers.us.com. So I returned it and got a replacement. Guess what? The new unit was missing the rubber feet on the back and the unit rocked back and forth. So I cut off the two plastic spurs and the unit now sits flat. This is pretty ridiculous as in no F's given on the part of the manufacturer.

A great percolator that requires no coffee filter! It was hard to find good unbleached filters and I didn’t care for filters anyway. When I got the presto it never would work without filters. And even with filters, there were always some grounds. The presto also has a hard to clean pour spout. The farberware can be cleaned effortlessly in every nook and cranny! And the basket has such a good design that no filters are needed and no grounds in the coffee! Great coffee flavor too.

  • Easily the best purchase I’ve ever made! Will pay for itself in a week comparing the cost against a daily cold brew at my local coffee house. I’ve been making cold brew at home using a mason jar and wrapping my grounds in a filter but inevitably, one of the filters would break trying to remove or the flavor just wasn’t quite right. The cone shaped filter is very well made, perfect for the jar size and has a silicone ring to secure it in place. (My photo shows the filter resting upside down to make the ring visible.) It holds the exact amount of coffee needed to produce a robust coffee concentrate, or less if you’d prefer. To clean the grounds out, I let it stand in a bowl to finish draining and then use an offset spatula to remove the grounds. A few taps over a garbage and it’s mostly cleaned out. Another great feature is the lid and handle attachment. I’ve dropped a few regular mason jars removing them from my fridge, this handle will ensure that happens far less often (let’s be real, I’m just clumsy!). Overall a really great product. Handle is sturdy and the filter well made, seems like it will last!

  • I love that you can keep the cold brew inside and store immediately in the fridge. I left my cold brew in the fridge and used every day for three days, and it still tasted just like when I first made it. This cold brew maker makes it super easy to just wake up, pour a glass, and run to work. Tastes much better when I used this, than just putting ice in my regular coffee pot. It even comes with a free foam milk frother to make yummy lattes!

Just arrived- haven’t used it yet but disappointed the color does not look close to the image. It’s pretty blah and I would have gone for the copper color had I known. I paid extra because of the color . Though it says umber, the photo looks closer to rose gold but isn’t.

This coffee maker does it all! It makes all sizes, cups or pot of coffee! I had to figure out the right amount of coffee for making a cup of coffee because I use different grinds. So easy to fill with water and clean. Makes great tasting coffee! So convenient to be able to make any amount of coffee, any time of day.

Bought this as a gift on December 20th used it on February 3rd for the first time and almost burned the kitchen down followed all the instructions the part that we could understand would not recommend buying this sadly I cannot return

  • I really loved this product until the handle broke off yesterday, exactly 5 months after it was delivered. I don't drink coffee every day so it hasn't been 5 months of daily use. I have not put it in the dishwasher and I am the only one who uses it. It is now pretty useless because holding hot glass is not my jam. I'm disappointed because I loved it so much. Even got my sister into it.

Great Coffee Maker! I love my Mr. Coffee Programmable coffee maker! I have yet to wake up to a bad cup of coffee! I set it up at night, and wake up to the fresh smell of coffee. It's nice, because I dont have to wake up, set it up, then wait for my coffee to brew. It's extremely easy to program and set up. As you can see by the pictures, I drain different coffees at different times. All I have to do is put the filter in, then the coffee, and set it up to brew at a certain time. D warmer stays on for quite a while, so you can get a fresh cup of hot coffee anytime. It is worthy to note however that the coffee pot will shut it self off if there is no liquid in the carafe. That makes it nice, because you don't have to worry about burnt coffee in the bottom of your coffee pot the next time you have to use it. In my opinion, it's one of the best coffee makers I have used. It's so easy to use! I'm not a techie, so I appreciate something simple. It brews great coffee. You can use filters, or if you prefer, you can used filter packets that have the coffee already sealed in a filter. It's easy to wash. The carafe is sturdy, so it can be washed in the dishwasher. I use a clean rag to clean the rest. I highly recommend this coffee maker! It's a great kitchen appliance for the price!
