I ordered a hand blown and they sent a classic. That is the wrong model and so I was over charged for the item.
I’ve only had it for a few days and so far I’m in love. My expensive nespresso machine broke after about a year, left my French press at a friends house, my pour over shattered and so I was in extreme desperado mode. I told myself to go back to the basics, a simple coffee maker, nothing fancy or frilly in the meantime. I stumbled upon this cute little maker. I have a small 1 BD and absolutely hate clutter so I needed one that doesn’t take too much space and looked cute on the countertop. This was cheap, no nonsense, just makes coffee. And bonus, came with a cute cup so I didn’t have to finagle my mugs under the drip. So far, I’m loving it. We shall see how long it lasts. Sometimes simples is the way to go. If this works out, I’m gonna stick with it. No more espresso machines 😆. I’ll go to the coffee shop for that.
This coffee maker makes excellent tasting coffee. Brews coffee quickly, and quickly. Thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for a long time, without any noticeable difference to taste. I’m a coffee snob, and possibly you are to if you’re looking at this coffee maker. I’ve been a pour over brewer for years, and this machine compares in duplicating the taste.
So far this works without a hitch. I will say, it’s somewhat loud. The sound of it spinning and then the water sloshing. Not really a pleasant sound. I am currently brewing for first time. Will update after it completes. UPDATE: Worked perfectly. Follow the directions. You absolutely must wait the 5 min or longer before plunging or you will have the water and grounds burst upwards out of the carafe. It has too much pressure and needs to settle. Once you wait, it will push down smooth with ease and no resistance! Pour your coffee and call it wallah!! Grounds in the carafe and coffee in your cup, ground free! I let mine brew the 20 min. I feel like its the perfect black coffee cup level strength and I don’t like really weak coffee. Again that is only with 1/2 grounds, not the 2/3 it recommends. You can do the 2/3 and then even brew longer if you want it STRONNGG.
I came back to this product page looking for help on how to stop the water reservoir from leaking. As some have mentioned in previous reviews (which I neglected to read before I purchased mine), some days it's fine, other days you wake up to your countertop covered in water. I thought I was possibly seating the container improperly, but it looks like the gasket between the base and the reservoir valve is prone to fail. Mine lasted about 6 months before it started occurring often enough to realize it was a problem. Now I keep a baking sheet under the unit and remove the reservoir while not in use. Kinda sucks, since having the water always available to make a quick cup of tea or coffee was one of the perks I bought this for. Some have also mentioned how the filter baskets sometimes drip out of all four corners instead of just draining from the center hole. Mine did that after a couple months of regular use, but I found it to be caused from a sticky rubber washer that is in the bottom of each filter basket. If you take them apart and clean each piece regularly, the coffee/tea will flow out of the center hole instead of being misdirected out all sides. Luckily, I have not had any electrical or mechanical problems with the unit functioning properly as of yet, but that may just be because I have never used the cleaning cycle. The clean button has yet to light up on my unit since I bought it 9 months ago. Some reviews have mentioned that their unit stopped working completely after using the clean button, so not sure I want to try it now. I still love my unit for what it does do. Since I live at 10,000 ft, having the ability to adjust the settings for high altitude and not have my coffee and tea boiled when brewed is a huge plus for me. Being able to make single servings for my different size mugs is very convenient, too. After paying $150 for the most expensive coffee maker I've ever owned, I will deal with the leaks till it no longer works.
Good value. Works as you’d expect. But the coloration is much less than in the picture.
We’ve been wanting to get this slim Keurig coffee pot in white, it sells out so fast. The size is perfect, love the white, got at a really great price. Seems very durable. Only thing they DO NOT send a reusable K-cup nor do them mention you have to buy one especially for the Slim model.
Works great for me. Simple, clear instructions, and easy to use. Heats water in about a minute, makes coffee in another minute. I like the different size options - 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz. and also a strong brew button. The regular is fine for me. My coffee purist friends would be aghast. I just like generic coffee, sugar, and milk. So I just don't tell them how I love my new Keurig. If you're a coffee purist you probably won't be reading these reviews, but maybe try a Trinity One and an Ethiopian Kolla Bolcha or Sera Saba roasted third wave. Otherwise, you might love a Keurig!
I was shocked at how small it was. Thought it was going to be bigger
Very easy to use, quicker than my 10cup Mr coffee, smooth tasting, clean up is a cinch! And its classy looking lol all around 5stars
This works well for me, I use it every day. Unfortunately with this much use the lid and straw gaskets are prone to collecting moisture and other germy stuff under them. I clean them regularly but now they're discolored, stretched out and fraying. I'm not ready to ditch a perfectly working cup just to have new gaskets, so I'm living with the cruddy ones for now and will likely just ditch them at some point. Would be nice if Zoku offered a replacement gasket pack for these cups.
We are using a cuisinart thermal craft. The bunn thermal craft does not keep coffee hot at all!!!! It might work if there was a warmer. Very disappointed!!!
Simple instructions, simple device, I used my same old coffee and it worked just fine no granules in it. Left it for about 13 hrs and the coffee came out perfect, of you like a stronger brew youd have to leave it longer, it was just right for me. With this amount I have enough for 2 days or more
I wanted a way of making coffee without using plastics and this is the perfect solution. Nice weight stainless steel feels like great quality very easy to use. The size is just right for two small cups of coffee or my larger 14 to 16 ounce cup. I have every morning with leftovers Does not add any strange taste to my coffee. Matter fact I think my coffee taste better and the thickness keeps the coffee hot until I pour. It would definitely recommend this for anybody. I use this almost every day.
I like coffee. I'm picky about coffee. This percolator is the newest addition to my coffee addiction. I have it plugged into a smart plug so when I got up this morning, it was sitting on the counter perking with the wonderful sound and aroma. It was great to see the water getting darker and darker until the light went off and it was time to try it. I like my coffee "kid temperature", which means I put a good amount of milk in it to get it like that. That means that the coffee has to be hot enough and strong enough to make a proper cafe au lait, and this one does not disappoint. I had my first cup and when I went back for a second one, it was just as hot as the first and had no burning taste at all. This percolator has earned its place in my coffee arsenal. Highly recommended if you like a good cup of hot coffee.
