The silver paint will bubble and peel from the moisture of the machine brewing and then the little flakes of paint fall into the coffee. I noticed today there was a lot in my coffee after I poured it into the cup. So this is going in the trash. Who knows if that paint is toxic or not no body wants hair in their drink let alone bits of paint

  • Installed the auto fill kit on our new Keurig. Love them both, I would not have bought the keurig without the fill kit since it fits under the cabinets and would have to be pulled all the way out to fill. Fill kit comes complete, like the drill bit and cutter. I think Keurig should offer this as an accessory

  • I broke my carafe and was using a Mr coffee carafe with the old top. That was very frustrating for me because the lid didn't click into it. I googled Black & Decker replacement carafes because the one for this machine was discontinued and this one showed up at Walmart. I bought it knowing that I could just take it back if it didn't work. Much to my surprise it works perfect (no leaking) with this coffee maker. This is the one you want to buy if you break your carafe on this particular coffee machine

My wife and I love this cold brew coffee maker. It is very easy to use and clean. More Importantly, it makes very good coffee. I have a Nespresso with 300+ pods, but I use Hario Cold Brew Coffee Maker as my primary coffee maker. This coffee maker is also easy to coean. I can put my whole hand inside to wash from the bottom with sponge. The botoom of filter opens, so it is also easy to clean the filter. After 5-6 weeks of use, the filter is still very white without any visible coffee stain. It certainly comes with some limitations. Like any other cold brew coffee, it requires time for a good cup of coffee. The coffee taste best and become strong after about 24 hours (see photos after 0, 12, 24 hours after starting to brew). I sometimes miss my coffee if I forget to prepare it the day before. Also, it is glass, so quite fragile. I do not exactly know how and when I broke it, but I found that it was broken after one month. Pro: very easy to use/clean/store make very good coffee inexpensive make a large volume of coffee Cons: Requires time/patience fragile: broke after a month I would recommend this product to anyone who has patience for a good cup of coffee.

Milk nozzle is a bit short and not a great one. If you are dreaming about latte arts and silky smooth milk you migth struggle a bit. Also it is not brewing a very hot cup of espresso. Despide all that for this price range its a OK machine. Ps. Mine had its buttons installed reverse. I kept it bcs its funny and it works but you have been warned.

I purchased my Coffeeboxx from Home Depot through an ebay seller and it arrived sealed and unopened. The coffee maker is a great innovative design and I love the fact that it has a sealed water tank that nothing can get into. I love my Keurig Commercial K-150 coffee maker but the water reservoir has a large opening and a loose fitting lid allowing lint, hair, and anything else to get into the water. Plus it does not have a filter on that model so having a sealed water tank was the big seller for me on this unit. I also like the compact build of the unit and the fact you can close up the cup holder allowing a small foot print on the counter. The thirty minute off cycle is nice as well compared to the two hour cycle of most other coffee makers so it saves power too. And the outside is built like a tank and could be used as a step stool if needed I'm sure. Unfortunately this is where the quality seems to end, on the outside. My unit, and I would love to hear from others on this, does not seem to put out the advertised amount of water. Using an accurate measuring cup, with a correctly filled tank, sealed correctly, with no filter, I am getting two ounces less water for each coffee cup size. This is both the coffee side output and the hot water side output. In other words the 12 oz. button only gives 10 oz. of water, the 10 oz. button only gives out 8 oz. of water and the 8 oz. button only gives out 6 oz. of water. This is not necessarily a deal breaker if the unit will continue to work as I've read about others on here but I have concerns if this will start to drop off as it gets older or if it will maintain. Also they must not do very much factory testing of these units to make sure they are putting out the amount of water advertised. For a unit that cost right at two hundred dollars the quality should be inside as well as outside. We'll see how long it last. As a footnote, I contacted Oxx three days ago both by e-mail and by a phone message, as no one answered, and have yet to hear from them except by a return automated e-mail saying they received my ticket. So product support seems to be continuing to be slow as has been stated by other reviewers.

I have been using a classic Chemex coffee maker to brew coffee for over 25 years. During that 25 years, I’ve had to replace the coffee maker once after it broke. Why am I loyalty question I think the key is the paper filter which absorbs the harsh oils that can be present in coffee, leaving behind the rich, deep, full flavor of the coffee. You will never have a smoother cup of coffee than with the Chemex. Intensity without bitterness.

I bought this pot in September. I used it every morning it was excellent but now it’s not percolating anymore. It’s only making a light sound and the coffee is coming out very light.

If you want the ability to take control of your coffee experience then the OXO Brew Pour-Over is definitely something that you need to invest in. I will start with the most important thing, taste. It should only take you a few brew cycles before you dial in your perfect cup. Subsequent brews are so easy after you get your process down. The OXO produces a superior tasting cup of coffee. The brewing process is not overly complicated, unless you want it to be. To brew an excellent cup of coffee you don't need a gram scale or other special gadgets; but that too is up to you. It only took me about 4 brewing cycles to brew my perfect cup. I must note, that it took my wife just a few more brews before she got to her perfect cup. But that is the beauty of the OXO; you get to brew YOUR perfect cup! From start to finish, it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to complete the brew cycle. This is my process and some of the gadgets that I use. 1. Bring the water to 205 degrees. For this i use an electric water kettle. You could heat your water various ways; the experts say 205 is best, so I went with an electric kettle for consistency. 2. I use high quality freshly roasted whole beans. But, you can use whatever you want to include ground coffee, to brew your perfect cup. 3. I use a high quality burr coffee mill. Again, I went with what the experts advised. I think that it's in the milling process that I get the most control over the taste and strength of my brew. I can control the amount of grounds as well as the size of the grinds. Again, you don't need a burr mill, you can get better results for your perfect cup by adding more or less of your favorite coffee. 4. I don't measure the grounds that I place in my OXO for my dailycup(s). However, I did measure during the first 4 cups as I dialed in my perfect cup. Now that I have my mill setup all I have to do is make sure that I'm not on my wife's settings, push the button, and then I'm ready to brew. 5. The setup for the OXO are simple. Grab your favorite cup, use a quality #2 cone shaped coffee filter (I purchased one of those gold tone reusable metal filters, but I DON'T recommend them for the OXO. The reusable filter didn't quite fit (first picture with paper filter, 2nd with reusable filter) but worse, it allows fine coffee sediment into your cup.) I pre-wet the paper filter with a little water from my kettle, place my grounds in and, with the OXO sitting on my up, pour-over, in a circular motion wetting as much of the grounds as possible, about 1 ounce of water and then put the OXO's water reservoir in place. After about a minute or two, I fill the reservoir to the 11 of mark (no need to use a measuring cup). About 3 minutes later you are ready to enjoy! I recommend the OXO for the ability for you to fully control all aspects to brew your perfect cup of coffee!

This made the most DELICIOUS ice coffee! Some of the best I’ve ever had! No more waiting 24 hours to make your iced coffee! It was easy to use, easy to clean and it’s slim design is easy to store in the fridge!!! 2 warnings it gave were do not use fine ground coffee and only use room temp water. Easy to follow instructions with an awesome instruction booklet too. This is my new favorite device and I look forward to enjoying my iced coffee!

  • I’ve tried six grind and brew (G&B) coffeemakers over the years. I bought two earlier Cuisinart models with blade instead of burr grinders and a Capresso Team with a burr grinder. I received Black & Decker and Krups G&B models and now this new Cuisinart G&B 850 through Vine. The Krups is not the most expensive [ASIN B075G7B98P], but it definitely gives the most flexibility adjusting the strength and is the only one that brews coffee strong and full bodied enough for me when using the whole bean grinder. Krups lacks a stainless carafe, but I can select a fine grind to truly make strong coffee tailored to my taste. I can’t do that with this Cuisinart. This new Cuisinart gives a medium grind only, so it’s not fully adjustable to my taste. Even using the strongest setting, tinkering with the coffee/water ratio and using a dark, full bodied, bold whole bean coffee from Starbucks (Caffe Verona), I can’t get a cup of coffee that’s strong and full bodied enough for my taste. The coffee brews hot enough and is an average, medium strength using the strongest setting on the Cuisinart. But the same whole beans make a perfect, strong cup of coffee using my Krups as I select a finer grind. While I can bypass the burr grinder and buy a pre ground, finer grind for the Cuisinart to get a stronger brew, that makes the burr grinder useless. That’s okay sometimes, but the point is to grind just before brewing for fresher coffee. Those who don’t drink strong coffee, or tend to use pre ground coffee anyway, should be quite happy with this new Cuisinart G&B. It has nice features. The burr grinder and grinder design are improvements over old Cuisinarts. With this model, I can fill the top of the machine with enough beans to last for days and the lid has a tight seal to keep the beans fresher. Also, the grinder on the old machines would get wet and the wet grinds would get strewn all over and had to be cleaned daily. With the new Cuisinart, the grinds end up in the filter where they belong and it’s easy to dump and rinse. The stainless carafe seems taller and nicer than what came with my old Cuisinart models. Plus, mine does not dribble or make any mess when I pour from it. Although each updated Cuisinart has less stainless steel and more plastic, this one looks great on the countertop. Also, I like that the controls are well labeled and easy to see. The settings are intuitive, so it’s easy to operate by pressing the on button, turning the grind dial to reflect the number of cups (4 minimum), pressing the strength button, turning the grinder off if desired and just pressing brew. This takes flat filters and includes a gold filter that comes in handy as backup if I run out. The machine takes charcoal water filters and is programmable. This is a really good machine for those who like average or medium strength coffee, but it falls short for me as I want really strong, full bodied coffee that comes from a finer grind. 3.5 stars. PS: To clarify, the water tank has measurements from 2 to 10 cups, though 4 is the lowest number on the grind control.

  • This K-Cup coffee machine is a total game-changer! It’s fast, easy to use, and makes a great cup of coffee with zero hassle. Just pop in a pod, press a button, and in seconds, you have hot, delicious coffee. The variety of flavors is amazing, and cleanup is basically nonexistent. Perfect for busy mornings or when you just want a quick caffeine fix without the mess. Highly recommend for anyone who loves convenience and good coffee!

  • This worked a lot better than I expected. Honestly, I never even knew you could cold brew coffee. Seeing as I'm a huge fan of iced coffee, I now prefer this method to regular coffee. Making cold brewed coffee in this comes out absolutely delicious and adding some milk and a little bit of sweetener make it perfect. The bottle doesn't state how much liquid it holds (at least not that I could find), nor do the directions. So, I measured cups of water and kept pouring in to see how much it holds. It was a little over 3 cups. So, I've been using enough coffee for 4 cups and I'm glad I do. The flavor wasn't too strong; it's just right! I usually leave the bottle in the fridge over night and then empty out the grounds in the morning and replace the cap. I drink 1/2 of the bottle one day and the other half the next day. I do this because I like to add about 1/3 milk to my coffee (kind of like a cappuccino). The bottle is very easy to use and there are also simple instructions included - not very detailed, but the bottle isn't too hard to figure out. The filter works well and the wholes are tiny so no coffee grounds get through it. My only complaint is that the filter is hard to wash because some of the grounds like to get stuck in the little nooks and crannies at the bottom. It takes some extra time and effort (at least for me it did). Besides that, it's a great iced coffee maker and I have no complaints! I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. All opinions are 100% mine.

  • Great Quality! Perfect size for family use. The stainless steel filter locks the ground inside. If you want to add some sweetness somehow, I recommend use syrup. Also great as gifts for clients.
