  • I got this product for free, the following is my honest and unbiased review. My wife saw this glass jar with plastic lid on coffeemakers.us.com and wanted to try it out. It is well made and the lid has a flip-top cap, a pour spout, and an integral handle. The price is very reasonable and the lid can be had in different colors. It's true that this glass jar holds 32 oz but that is if you fill it almost to the brim - the tick marks on the side of the jar top out at 24 oz. My wife was slightly disappointed by this, but it's not enough to merit the loss of a star.

I always thought making expressions was hard or time consuming. But this little machine is a breeze. I’ve only used it about 5 times so far, made pretty good cuppicino 4 of those times. Don’t know what happened on 3rd try (video) but it worked great after that. Will update!!

Hot plate coating comes off and sticks to carafe. Purchased just over yr ago & only lightly used due to brewing espresso mostly. Unfortunately the manufacturer determined this is normal wear & tear. I strongly disagree, the previous unit was over 10 yrs old before it started failing. The hot plate didn’t even look this bad.

We had a small one-cup coffee maker we used in our camper but soon realized we almost always made more than one cup at the time. I acquired this one because it can hold about three 14-ounce cups of water meaning we only need to refill reservoir once and it's still a compact unit. It works great and is easy enough to use once you figure it out. The reservoir tank is easy to remove and refill. The buttons are hard to see unless they are lit up, meaning selected, or you have a good light source on it. Cup size is selected by pressing the size button to cycle through the 5 brew sizes. Once you've got your size selected and you're loaded with water and a k-cup, just press the start button, the one that looks like a k-cup with an arrow pointing down. I found that using a light touch on the buttons works much better than trying to "mash" them. The manufacturer claims 90 seconds to brew a 6-ounce cup and three minutes to brew a 14-ounce cup and that seems about right. Subsequent cups after the first are little quicker. This coffee makes also comes with a coffee basket for brewing a cup with normal ground coffee. I haven't tried it, but it will likely work fine and then be a small pain to clean up like all of them are. Overall, I have been very pleased with this little coffee maker.

I’ve owned a Technivorm Moccamaster 10 cup Coffee Maker for over 15 years. It was the KB brewer. It’s been the best coffeemaker that I’ve ever bought. And I’ve bought many other coffee maker brands since 1982. None of them compared. I realized it was time to replace it. It was still brewing my coffee ( My favorite Peet’s Major Dickinson brand), but it was looking dated. I decided during coffeemakers.us.com Prime Day to see if I could replace it with a newer version. Yay, coffeemakers.us.com had the KBGV on sale. I saved a $100.00 on prime day sale. I’m very happy with it. It has some features that I my older coffee maker didn’t have. I purchased the Polished Silver color. I highly recommend Technivorm Moccamaster for coffee aficionados.

  • I bought this electric coffee maker recently and I'm quite pleased with it. It's easy to use — just fill it with water, add coffee grounds, and press a button. The design is sleek and it doesn't take up much space on my kitchen counter. It brews coffee quickly and the coffee tastes great every time. Overall, it's a handy appliance for coffee lovers like me

  • Just received my new French press. Makes an absolutely spectacular cup of coffee. I used a hand grinder and ground my beans course. I would recommend a heaping tablespoon per 8 ounces. Tasted wonderful! Keep in mind this is for camping so clean up is a bit tricky as all of your grounds will end up on the bottom and not in your cup. If you treat it as a camping coffee pot, dump and rinse in the wild it is no problem at all. Carafe seems to be insulated to the gills and hold heat forever. I was most impressed by the quality of construction of the unit. It is heavy duty to say the least. Coletti hit this one out of the park. Excellent product!!! Keep up the good work!

  • First I ordered 2 and they didn’t arrive in original package one had a dent, but that was the least of my problems. Upon putting the spigot on and preparing to use the spigot flew off and water was everywhere. I tried tightening until it wouldn’t tighten anymore then it just leaked around the spigot. This was money wasted.

The "8-cup" capacity really means little cups. This coffee maker produces 4 American measuring cups, or 4 mugs of coffee. Our first pot of '6' cups took 15 minutes. Our second pot of '8' cups took 20 minutes. (The kids will love this interesting science experiment: hot water bubbles up the siphon, steeps the coffee, and the coffee bubbles back down the siphon the minute you take the coffee urn off heat. The processes produces excellent, rich, mellow, full coffee, of a quality very like Chemex. (Flavor does depend on how good a coffee you use.) To us, the advantage is that the coffee brews entirely in glass. There is no plastic aftertaste such as we detect in all kitchen automatic coffee; and there is no burned, watery metal aftertaste such as we detect in metal electric percolators. Northwest Glass provides two cloth filters sewn around the stainless filter. We removed that and folded filter paper around the filter holder. Very few grounds seep into the coffee at all and easily catch in the last teaspoon. The kit includes a plastic stand that you use only to support the glass top while you add coffee. This can serve as a lid, too. Cleaning is pretty easy. Even finely powdered Turkish coffee drops out into compost bin or garbage with the help of a spoon. Several of the stainless-steel filters disappeared into the compost owing to our carelessness; so we bought backups.

  • I ordered this ‘Sliding Tray for Coffee Maker’ to actually use under a slushie machine I just got. The machine is heavy and awkward to move which makes it hard to clean. I figured this tray would make the task easier to. I am both happy and impressed with this sliding tray. It really does make the job of cleaning my slushie machine a lot easier. Moving the machine now is almost effortless whereas before I had to lift it and move it over to the sink. Now I just slide it…cool! This ‘Sliding Tray for Coffee Maker’ seems to be decently constructed. The wood has a nice black finish. It’s more of an opaque stain, so you can see the grain of the wood underneath. The casters built into the bottom of the tray operate very smoothly. The release lever in the front can be a bit tricky to use…make sure to lift up on the tray to release it. All in all, I’m very happy with this ‘Sliding Tray for Coffee Maker’. It looks good..is well made…and really makes the job of moving my heavy slushie machine a lot easier. I can recommend it.

Got this almost 15 years ago, still going strong. Big plus, the design pretty much never changes except for very minor tweaks. They claim if you send in they will completely refresh the mechanics for $100, never wanted to part with it for that long. If you look at the one-star reviews, most of them are for the filter basket clogging and overflowing. This is because of the poor design "drip-stop" / strength slider on the filter basket that has a tendency to slide down to the "closed" position without you noticing it (which is why I knocked off a star.) I had a similar problem, which I finally permanently fixed by screwing a small machine screw into the side of the basket to hold it permanently open (see photo). The non-mechanically-inclined or "I paid $300 for THIS?" crowd may find it ridiculous that you should have to do that. Without a dripstop, you need to master the technique of deftly sliding a cup under as you slide the pot out, pour your cup while holding under the dripper, then slide the pot back. It's an old trick for any coffee maker and easy once you master it, but then you shouldn't be shorting the pot anyway should you? That's just plain evil, and it only takes 6 minutes to brew a full pot. The alternative is a Mr. Coffee / Krups / etc. type brewer which I've found is harder to clean, slower, noisier, hard to fill, and doesn't make coffee as well. Super-simple and easy to disassemble and clean, which we do once a week whether it needs it or not :-). Yes expensive, yes quirky, yes not a beauty contest winner, but best of the ones I've used without getting into hand-pour purism. Uses standard #6 cone filters which I buy by the bushel at Costco - I don't know what people are talking about with the coffee filters. Enjoy!

  • How adorable is this in my guest room! Perfect little K-Cup machine that fits in a tiny space- works fantastic and the coffee is pretty hot- I’m surprised at how great of a machine this is- TIP: Be sure you take your time pressing the little black button on the top of machine to pop the top up to put the Kcup in as that’s something I’d usually break :)) When my guest arrive I’ll have it open with the Kcup ready so when they close the lid they’ll get it has a catch- then they aren’t tugging at it!

Update, I’ve found that it’s a little tricky to get the correct amount of coffee for a 16oz mug without exceeding proper brew time. It filter seems to clog a little easier than paper, so the ground has to be slightly coarser than the standard ceramic pour overs. Not the end of the world but difficult to get a nice full flavored coffee. Another great way to brew in an easy, small device. The major pros, micro mesh filter makes both brewing and cleanup easy. I’ve never seen a metal/mesh filter so easy to dump out and rinse clean; the rubber grabber is a nice touch as well. Borosilicate glass seems to be relatively study, and the device doesn’t tip over easily due to the design. The “cup” measuring marks are good so that you can monitor how much coffee you want; helps the user be consistent. The minor con, this filter is pretty small. To get 4 cups worth, I had to refill the filter with water roughly 5 times. It could be used directly on a mug though, another win. Long story short, Coffee Gator has provided another way to brew a great clean cup of coffee every time. Thanks CG! I’ll continue to support them for years to come.

This product requires 3 coffee filters for one full pot use. Makes 3 cups of ounces.
