  • I am a coffee aficionado and did serious research when it was time to replace my 12 yr old coffee maker. The great reviews held up to the promise. I received it about 3 weeks ahead of the approximate date. It was well packaged. This makes a delicious cup of hot or iced coffee. No plastic smell. Perfect temperature. The design makes for perfect drip placement over coffee. The instructions are in Japanese there are English instructions on their website. Well worth the money. It comes with a double sided soup and two filters. I did not have to fold the filters I bought as described in other coffeemakers.us.com reviews.

I've had this coffee maker for about a month now, and I love it. I had a basic Keurig for years and wanted to move away from the single use pods and use coffee grounds. I love that this offers both, sometimes I have family come visit who bring their own pods so having both options is nice. I've pretty much exclusively used the brew basket option with this machine and I think it works great. I love the flexibility of how strong my cup can be and the sizes it offers. It doesn't brew quite as fast as a Keurig would but it doesn't take long at all. Maybe 3 minutes or so. It's intuitive about turning on and off, making it easy to just pop in your brew basket or pod and make a cup easily. I feel like it doesn't take up much space on my counter. It's fairly deep so you would need to account for that. I love that everything stores on the machine- the brew basket and pod adapter, and the coffee ground scoop. If you want a coffee maker that brews grounds and has the pod option, I highly recommend this one. I haven't had any issues so far and I feel it makes a great cup of coffee.

  • I bought this to replace a 10+ year old Keurig that finally gave out, and so far this has been not just a worthy replacement, but a pretty nice upgrade as well. The build quality feels solid, and it’s much easier to clean than my old Keurig. In the Keurig, loose grounds and water would sometimes spill out into the area around the top of the k-cup holder, which could be difficult to clean. In the Ninja, that whole area where grounds used to accumulate pops out easily and can be cleaned in either the sink or the dishwasher, though I haven’t even seen any loose grounds there yet. Despite having a lot of options, this thing is also pretty easy to figure out, and has a nice little beep to let you know when your coffee’s ready. The drip stopper switch is also really satisfyingly clunky, which I know a lot of people won’t care about, but I appreciate. The coffee quality is great, provided you’re using good quality beans or k-cups. I’ve tried some single-serve coffee makers that don’t seem to ever make good coffee, regardless of what you put in them, so I’m glad this one isn’t like that. My only complaints are that it doesn’t have a low-water warning, it just stops mid-brew and beeps several times if it runs out, and it makes a high-pitched whine when it’s brewing, almost like a dog whistle. Most people I don’t think would even notice that, but I hace more sensitive hearing than most people, so it kinda bothers me, but not enough to ruin it by any means. Overall, I’d highly recommend it

  • It makes great coffee. Nice modern look. Very attractive carafe. Main likes and unique tidbits • no need for paper filters • removable water reservoir let's you take it to the sink and fill it instead of filling a carafe to fill a reservoir • charcoal filter • separate hot water line with variable water temps for different tea varieties • appealing digital time display (with a caveat) • lots of options for size of beverage including over ice • power cord can be pushed into coffee maker to shorten it • included portion measuring accessory has scoop size details on it which is excellent • warranty registration card included let's you take a pic of a unique code to make registration very simple Main detractions • Carafe looks great but is awkward to wash. Lid pops off but top with handle does not and the opening is very small (2.5" diameter) • You really have to remember to move the lever to drip stop after brewing or you'll be wiping up the heat pad a lot • after setting the time the colon on the digital clock display just blinks. No idea why that would be part of the design

  • Got this and was excited to try some home made cold brew. Took it out of the box, read instructions, started cleaning the unit and the gasket for the lid got ripped due to it being melted or glued to the glass..... Sad to see it. Probably should have looked at other pictures and reviews more as this seems to be a reoccurring problem.

  • Great purchase. It’s make life so easy. Coffee ready in 1 minutes. Very fast and stay hot. Good 100%.

Turkish coffee is not hard to make on the stove, but if you get distracted, you risk an overflow and then a big mess. This coffee pot is a great idea, because you can put in the water and coffee and then focus on other things… but only when it works. We had a previous model. After several months (don’t remember how long), it stopped getting the coffee hot enough. It was too late to return, so we just got out the electric kettle and set it up with hot water. That worked for quite a while. Recently, the cezve part sprung a leak, and it was time for a new machine. This one arrived on September 16th. Today is September 25th. It’s already failing to heat the coffee. I must admit, for once, I didn’t read other reviews before purchasing, but having read them now, I’m giving up on this brand.

  • Esta pequeña perfecta para lugares con poco espacio, pero el café sale muy claro para mi gusto y vota agua.

I did some research before settling on this Cuisinart model. I originally thought I wanted a dual coffee maker with a single serving side, but I didn’t like how much counter space was needed. This model has a 1–4 setting to adjust for single to smaller servings, but I don’t think it’s necessary tbh. I just adjust my grounds and water. I personally like the beeping notifications when coffee is finished brewing and when the machine is ready to shutoff. My dog doesn’t seem to mind it either:), but the option is there to silence it with the push of a button. My old Krups machine took forever to brew a 10 cup pot (4 cups of coffee). This maker takes 10 minutes. I also rued how slow I had to pour water from the carafe into the tank on the Krups. No such issue with the Cuisinart. The only reason I docked a star was due to the inability to easily empty the last bit of water from the Cuisinart carafe. The pot is too big to fully tilt within the allotted space as the top lid only opens 90 degrees. Not a crisis but somewhat annoying. The unit came with a metal filter if you are environmentally conscious or trying to save a few bucks on paper filters. I opt not to use it as I don’t want to bother with the mess of dumping wet grounds in my trash and then flush residual grounds down my kitchen sink in case they eventually build up and cause a clog. This model has a “Bold” feature. I don’t care for bold coffee, but I thought I’d be clever and use it with less coffee grounds to achieve the same medium strength. The coffee was the right strength, but it had a weird taste I can’t easily describe but to say it tasted “dirty.” So much for that idea. Aesthetically, I find the stainless steel look attractive, but it does leave finger smudges, however, they easily wipe off with a damp dish cloth. This model, like most if not all models with a top lid shower, does dribble water down the back of the machine upon lifting the lid after brewing. Again, not a big deal but just slightly annoying. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase, but in retrospect, a less expense model would have sufficed for our basic coffee needs.

  • If your borderline Boojee like myself 😏, you're going to like this coffee maker. Personally, I love whole bean coffee, but grinding whole bean coffee fresh every time you make a pot of coffee... Ain't no body got time for that! It would cut into my morning wall stare, an obvious necessity. You can set this the night before and it will grind and brew at your desired time. WOWOW! It's easy to set.. I didn't even read the instructions. Just pleased with the purchase and even more pleased that I didn't buy my other option for 3 to 4 TIMES more of the price. **Side note - I really dislike K-Cups**

Excellent quality and craftsmanship as the percolator is built of sturdy steel. It is capable of making up to 14 cups maximum whereas other percolaters only make 12 cups. There's an on off switch above the cord which is very handy. This percolator requires no filters which saves additional funds. You simply can't go wrong with this one. The copper color is a beautiful addition to my kitchen and highly recommended for your family.

  • I was on the hunt for a new coffee maker after my old one “went over the rainbow bridge” following a long stint limping on its last dregs – I mean, on its last legs. This Hamilton Beach 10-cup model with a thermal carafe now sits in its space. While this model has some features that I appreciate, it also has some that I’m not keen on – and a few that I feel are problematic or that detract from its usefulness. Let me address each of those areas. FEATURES I APPRECIATE: • It makes decent tasting coffee. • It takes up less space on the counter than my old Krups. • There’s a large opening for the water reservoir, reducing spill risk during filling. • Filter basket is removable, so it can be filled without risking grounds getting into the water. • There are 3 adjustable brew-strengths – Regular, Bold, and Robust. • Handy automatic shut-off feature once brew cycle is complete. • It can make a full 10-cup pot in about 8 to 10 minutes. • Thermal carafe can maintain a temperature around 150° to 155° F for several hours. • Clock has a bright, easy to read display. FEATURES I’M NOT SO KEEN ON: • While brewing, this one sometimes wheezes like an old man with COPD. • Water reservoir window is only useful if making 6 or more cups – fewer than that, and you’ll need a measuring cup. • Buttons used for “Program,” “Hour,” and “Minute” wiggle and feel a bit flimsy, so it’s unclear how they’ll hold up over time. FEATURES THAT ARE PROBLEMATIC FOR ME: • Coffee doesn’t so much pour from the spout as it “dribbles” – much like a male octogenarian who has prostate problems. • Once the carafe has less than 2 or 3 cups it needs to be held almost upside-down for any coffee to dribble out. • It takes 2 hands to pour since the “Press to Pour” lever must be used. For smaller hands, it’s not easy to both hold the pot handle *and* press down on the lever at the same time. • It takes 2 hands to twist open and remove the lid from the carafe – it has a *very* tight fit. • Since the “Press to Pour” lever is needed to help lift the lid off the carafe, it may have a limited life expectancy. • Even with carafe lid off and the pot held upside down, it still doesn’t completely empty – some coffee remains inside due to an internal ridge. • A bottle brush is needed to clean the inside of the carafe since a hand or sponge won’t fit through the opening. BOTTOM LINE: This particular Hamilton Beach coffee maker makes decent tasting coffee and I think it has some positive features. That said, it also has more than a few not-so-positive ones that you probably should consider before making your decision. But different people have different needs and preferences, so what doesn’t work well for me might be acceptable for you.

  • I got this to be a more durable version of my existing 20oz French press (you can see in the final photo). I got that for $10 at TJ Maxx for a price comparison. That French press is not borosilicate and hence started chipping easily. I will update this review if this starts to chip. I don't expect it to. The double wall also makes this coffee warmer when I'm done. It's also gorgeous. I really think this is worth the asking price and it's just absolutely beautiful! I'm also glad to see that my old plunger works for this too... Though the provided plunger is better looking. Update after a month: it's even better than I rated it initially... I used to have to always tighten the plunger after almost every use and this thing has none of those issues! This thing is fantastic quality and totally worth that extra asking price!

I love coffee so much that I roast it at home but due to some changing circumstances, I just don't always have time to make a pour-over and I thought this coffee maker would give me good consistent results. I used to use a grind and brew that made ok coffee by Cuisinart but it lasted a solid 7 years of intermittent use. It was becoming buggy so time to replace it. I was not wrong. This coffee maker makes great coffee. Consistently. Huge props to Bonavita too for standing behind their products! If you are taking the time to read these reviews, you know this is a great coffee maker. Gold cup and all that stuff is legitimate. Bonavita has been around for a long time, and it is a well known brand in coffee circles. So why only 3 stars? The coffee carafe is awful. If you want to pour without the lid, it will spill. Fine, I will screw on the lid. The worst part, however, was that after less than 6 months, the internal seal started leaking into the vacuum cavity. I filled out the warranty form on the Bonavita website, received a response within a week, and a new thermal carafe shortly after. Awesome! Right around the same time, the coffee maker stopped its cycle half-way. It would complete it after I restarted it. I read some of the reviews stating the same before buying it but quickly dismissed them thinking it was user error. I thought everyone that was complaining about the coffee maker stopping half way were experiencing this issue because they were not descaling. Descale, descale, descale. Got it. When I started experiencing the same issue, I started worrying because I descale religiously. Another warranty form fill, another quick response, and a replacement unit shortly after. Great! What isn't great is that I don't know how long this will last and getting a new coffee maker through a warranty form seems like this is not what I was hoping it is. I took the coffee maker apart and didn't see anything too worrisome with the exception of one thing. Although I'm not a huge fan of the plastic at the bottom of the heating element, that's not it. I didn't see any rust or anything leading to believe there was a leak somewhere either. What is worrisome is that the control board was overheating in some areas. I can only guess that the temperature might have fried the relay. Nothing else looks "bad" per se. I am hoping this is just a QC issue and won't have to fill out another warranty form.

  • I like the coffee pot, but the lid of the item does not have an even copper finish? It came this way. I don’t use a dishwasher, I only hand wash my dishes
