Good quality and really easy to use! I use it with 02 paper filters. The color is cute. And it’s light and foldable so I can take it with me while traveling. Highly recommend it!

This is a very unique and genius way to make coffee. While it’s not my preferred method for brewing on a daily basis, I absolutely love the concept when traveling or for during a power outage (as long as it’s charged). I’m also looking forward to trying it for a quick iced coffee. I charged the unit, added my 4 scoops of coffee, added my 195 degree water to the bottom line for a strong brew. After 30 seconds I stirred my coffee and water mixture according to the directions, placed the lid on top, and pushed the button to start brewing. My cup of coffee was ready in a flash and it came out great! I never use hotel coffee makers, but I would absolutely be inclined to use this for a quick iced coffee on-the-go (just get some ice). I do wish there was a nice carrying bag for travel since the carafe is all glass. I also found cleanup to be a little messy with all of the compressed coffee grounds in the bottom and no use of a paper filter to easily lift them out. Bottom line is that it makes a great cup, is very unique and convenient in an appropriate setting, but not my preferred method on a daily basis.

  • This little single cup coffer maker is lighter than any other single cup coffee maker I've tried, and less fiddly. I do worry about the parts being plastic, especially the drip arm, that is won't hold up to long term use, but so far it's been working fine. Incredibly simple to use, it only has one button and it does auto shut off once it's done brewing. Heats fast, and I have coffee in less that three minutes, so perfectly comparable to those single use cup style machines. It fits perfect in the limited space in our little off grid cabin, and since my daughter and I are really the only heavy coffee drinkers in the family, it meets our needs without any fuss. Do take heed from the other reviews that the cup it comes with is not actually all that well insulated and will be hot to the touch and won't keep the coffee warm. We circumvent this by using our own coffee mugs/cups.

  • We’ve had this coffeemaker since November 2013, so it’s 4 years old, however it’s in our Hawai‘i place. We are only there five months a year. This machine has had 20 months use. The warming plate has rusted out. There are holes in it (see photo). It could be a fire hazard.

What a beautiful pour over set. I’ve never had such a bougie way of making a cup of coffee. I’ve been using a Keurig K cup for so long, and am kind of lazy when it comes to waiting for my cup of coffee. It’s a big difference waiting 4 minutes for a cup of coffee when you’re used to having it ready in about 30 seconds. ✨BUT OHHHH SO WORTH THE WAIT! What a smooth cup of coffee this fancy beautiful set makes. ✨If you’re on the fence about a pour over…Try it! ✨If you’re on the fence about this set…. Buy it! I highly recommend this amazing London Sip Pour Over Coffee Making Set. It would make a very nice gift for the coffee lover in your life.☕️

Update -- April, 2023 I inadvertently put the carafe back without the cover -- easy to do as it snaps off for cleaning -- and the result was that the filter basket overflowed and got coffee grounds where they were no supposed to be! Had I not been brewing more than three cups it would have been worse. User error, yes, but another indication the machine is not delivering the value it should in this price range. You might hope for a interlock. _____________________ This is a perfectly functional standard coffee maker, but I was expecting more. Braun, as you might guess, began life as a German company, in the 1920's, under the leadership of one Max Braun. Fast forward a century and the Braun brand name is now owned by the De'Longhi Group, an Italian company with some letters after their name which... well, they're the letters Italian companies often put after their name and no doubt mean something to Italian lawyers. De'Longhi makes coffee makers under their own name, very high-end expresso makers in fact: Braun is not their flagship brand and neither is Braun manufactured in Germany anymore, but in a facility in China (you can find this information on the D'Longhi website). At first glance, online, you might think this was a stainless steel sheathed machine. Sheet metal trim on the front from a limited viewpoint appears to cover the machine, but the primary material is white plastic (the coffee maker also available in black plastic). Controls are via a touch-sensitive screen with the exception of the clicky on-button, and are for the most part non-intuitive: many are of the "hold this button three seconds and then click that one twice" variety, which means at least some time must be spent with the instruction booklet. You can set the brewing speed (slower drip for stronger coffee), the local water hardness (in theory), an automatic start time and timeout of the hot plate, as well as a few other things. This of course means that there is a digital clock, which brings back something we may have wished would have remained far away: the flashing unset digital appliance clock! I distrust leaving any cooking appliance with the ability to turn itself on plugged in when I am not at home so this is a concern, as I must apparently always be resetting the clock. Overall this is a fairly standard drip-coffee maker with standard features and it can brew a lot of coffee quickly, but I am not a fan of many-bells-and-whistles style of controls activated by arcane-key sequences nor am I a fan of white plastic, so this product was not a big win for me. Bauhaus (a school of mid-twentieth century German design which Braun prided itself on following at the time), it is not. I'm afraid this will go to the closet until called upon some night to make 14 cups of coffee quickly and efficiently, on default settings with its digital clock still flashing. I'm am sure it will do its job well, but the bells and whistles could have been omitted, the price lowered, and the value increased. I would consider the 12-cup coffeemakers.us.com basics model as a cost-effective alternative.

Plastic casing and the lid is questionable, but the coffee basin is glass. The filter works well and kept all the grinds out of my cup, so that’s good! It’s a smaller size, one or two portions max. It’s a nice looking design, sleek and a mat black. Other than the lid, it’s functional. The lid didn’t leak when pouring, but you will want to hold it in place or you’ll end up with coffee on the counter instead of your cup!

  • This coffee maker works great for a single cup and you won’t have the plastic waste you get from a cartridge type (Kurigj maker. However, there are a few caveats. First, the basket filter provided with the coffee maker is not dense enough to keep out all the dregs. With this filter alone, you will have fine bits of coff grounds in the last gulp. I don’t live that, so I got paper filters that need to be fitted into the basket but make the coffee good to the last drop. Second, I found two minor design flaws that led me to giving only four stars. The first flaw is that the opening at the top does not leave enough room to easily pour th water in. Th first few times I tried, the water went mostly on the counter. After several times with spillage, I finally have it down but it would have been easier with more room. Th other flaw, is that when you open the lid to put in coffee and water, the condensation on the inside of the lid, runs down the back of the the maker onto the counter. This could have been prevented by adding a small piece of plastic along the back of the opening and attaching the hinges to it so the condensation would run into the water well instead of down the back. See the pictures included.

  • Wow! What an absolute game changer for me! I have tried so many ways to get good iced coffee/cold brew with no luck, until I purchased this item. Its so easy and simple to assemble, and just as easy to disassemble to clean. All you need are coffee grounds and water. Its as quick as that! Its a quick coffee to assemble the day before, pop it in the fridge and bam, quick coffee in the morning. I tried to get a good picture so you can see there are no coffee grounds floating around. The filter is amazing as it allows water to easily sift through, however doesnt let a single coffee ground escape. I use fine grounds instead of coarse. This held about 4 cups of coffee for me, but if you’re putting it in a larger cup you may only get about 2 cups out of this. The glass feels very thick and durable. My coffees are quick, easy, and honestly taste amazing. I was looking for a solution to not having to go to local coffee shops to spend $4+ of an iced coffee. This product has exceeded my expectations.

  • This one i need for daily use, it makes enough hot and brews makes good coffee smell! Specially I like the coffee mug. It is small though!

  • Perfect for anyone who likes their own brand of ground coffee ☕️. It takes about 3 minutes... or bad for a fresh brewed cup of coffee. The flavor is good, no problems with aftertaste. It’s easy to clean and you get a really nice tumbler with it. KRUPS is a quality brand..we had a regular coffee maker from KRUPS that lasted forever. I think this should be going strong for a long time. Would make a great, especially for single person, college student, co-worker, etc. Definitely recommend.

As shown in pictures, the soft plastic/silicone wrap fell off the hard plastic part of the handle only after 1-2 week. This is already of a replacement of the 1st order which had the exact problem. Totally a waste of time and money. Beware!!
