Took a long time to get to me but when it did it arrived intact. Nice deal for a coffee maker. Slim space saving design. Like that it comes with an adaptor and just can use any coffee. You will have to just pour the amount of water you want in there and account for some water loss due to the grounds so there is a science in determining that. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have a drip tray as you can see with our white countertops it’s a hassle to keep that clean. The color is different, unique in that you have options to not go with boring black. Overall, if you are in a pinch this is a good option especially for those households that only drink a couple of cups a day. If you have the time, I would hold out on a Black Friday deal and perhaps get a name brand one at the same price.

  • I enjoy percolator coffee and was looking for a nice quality percolator for 10-12 cups. I've used plenty of the outdoor camping models with flimsy aluminum inserts, floppy lids and metal handles that heat up. This is a good one, looks good, easy to clean and continues to look great after a year of use. It makes perfect smooth coffee. I fill it up to right below the spout, 5-6 scoops of coffee and turn it on high. As soon as it starts to percolate I reduce the gas heat to the lowest setting and let it perc for 3 minutes and turn it off. I let it sit 3-5 minutes and enjoy my coffee. Would highly recommend. And the wood handle is great, I don't need a pot holder or rag when pouring.

I seen Nepresso machines in the US several times over the years but for some reason they didn't appeal to b/c of the use of coffee capsules; I was used to "real espresso machines. Then the Keureg phenomenon occurred & the idea of using prepackaged aliqots of coffee (k-cups) became acceptable & common place. During a visit to Portugal I had a chance to use Nespresso & I liked both the ease of use & the quality of the espresso, so when I returned home I bought one. After using it daily for a month or so I very happy with ire & enjoying great espresso morning & evening. The drawback is the high cost of the capsules ($0.70 each from Nepresso & over $1 from coffeemakers.us.com). As far as the machine itself the only thing I would change is the size of the little receptacle (see pic) that sits underneath the container where the the used capsules fall; I would make a little bigger so that I won't spell the water that tends to accumulate in it. BTW my favorite coffee capsules are Roma & Arpeggio.

  • The look of this French press is great! I wanted something sleek that fit with my new kettle, creating just a little morning vibe. So first impressions were solid - a nice feel in the texture and color, clean and simple design, and a nice match to other appliances and kitchen decor. Moving from those first visuals, the interior makes making coffee or tea super easy, with minimum water and demarcations for max coffee or max tea. I frankly thought the filter part was a bit of a gimmick, but after brewing my first coffee I was really surprised at how little, remarkably little, grounds were at the bottom of my cup, and how perfectly rounded the coffee taste. Usually I also feel a bit of subtext pressure to drink coffee quickly when using a French press, since it can go cold fairly quickly - that is where this design especially shined! I could pour out an amount I wanted and just let the rest sit until I was ready for more. The last cup was as smooth as the first - and was still hot to enjoy! In a hurry up world it’s nice sometimes to take a moment and just enjoy…

I was skeptical of buying this due to all the bad reviews, but I’m glad I took the risk. It brews fast! 4 cups will brew in 2 minutes. In the picture I had brewed 14 in about 12 minutes. Now it is just keeping it warm.

OK, so this is really expensive and you don't get even any of the basic modern features you'd expect on a $20 machine like auto start or 'bold' versus 'regular' setting. What you DO get, however, is what I consider to be a great coffee experience and a rather unique and fun to operate machine. The boiler kicks on with kind of a dull roar, and then bubbles come through the center column in the water tank. I was surprised at how quiet it was. I think this is because of the weird drip funnel thing that extends down into the carafe. I like being able to watch the water bubble up from the center column, and it's also fun to be able to pull off the grounds cover and watch the coffee grounds become saturated with water. I was really worried about regretting my purchase because of the price, but to my surprise I'm enjoying the thing. I've had no problems with the machine at all. If you're the kind of person that might impulse buy a $300+ coffee machine because it's cool and made of metal and comes in pretty colors, I don't think you're going to regret this at all.

Excellent Hot Coffee 200 degrees drip system. I bought Keurig twice and sent both back because they wouldn't make coffee over 170-180 degrees. I bought a percolator coffee maker and it to was 180 degrees coffee returned it too. The Zojirushi coffee maker stated on its website site it makes coffee at 200 degrees so I said well here goes another experiment and made the coffeemakers.us.com purchase and the Zojirushi (knocked it out of the park Grand slam) coffee maker did what was advertised the coffee made was 200 degrees verified by a professional temputure gage. Potential customers of a coffee maker this unit makes 200 degree coffee a HUGE DIFFERENCE AS FAR AS QUALITY. Coffee beans in drip makers at 200 degrees extracts the best tasting and quality of coffee beans.Buying coffee can be expensive these days because of the raise of all the coffee houses for take and go coffee and the awareness of coffee customer so why must we settle for anything less then top quality machines. This zojirushi coffee maker makes coffee at 200 degrees and cold coffee too a bonus for people liking cold coffee (ice coffee) it came with a insert for cold coffee and I look forward to using it in the warmer days. Ice coffee is what I have in Vietnam and in Vietnamese restaurants here in the USA. So if you're in the market for a coffee machine this zojirushi is excellent and the swing door for the filter is not a issue for under the counter kitchens the removable water holder is convenient to add water into just slide it off fill it with the water of your choice and slide it back on the machine. The only thing I would like to see improved on the next models is the LCD window this unit is hard to see because there is no lighting just old fashioned LCD screen that's not aluminated and small but once programmed to my daily routine it is easy. • Easy to set up coffee maker.. I definitely love the fact you don’t have to use a paper filter. A built in filter comes with it. I also love the fact a scooper come with it ..

  • Love this coffee maker. Was looking for something small, we only make a cup at a time but I didn't want a Pod machine. I like a stronger brew than my husband - he can make his and I make mine later. Easy to clean. Definitely gets the water hot. The hot plate doesn't stay on long but we don't use it so not an issue for us. I haven't tried it as a Pour Over yet so can't speak to that. Would definitely purchase again. Looks super cute on my counter! I put the Pepsi can in the picture for size reference. 11/13/2023. Follow Up Review: Went to make coffee this morning and the machine will not turn on. I checked the outlet, tried another outlet etc - nothing. No other type of warning yesterday - turned on fine, water got hot and poured through properly. I have only had this machine for 8 months. I used it pretty much everyday and always used filtered water. I know $50.00 isn't much for a machine but I expected it to last longer than 8 months. I see it's no longer available for purchase so perhaps there were other purchasers with issues. So disappointed. Changing my Review from 5 Stars to 1 Star

  • I was really excited about starting my first batch of cold brew. I filled the jar with coffee grounds and water. As I was screwing the lid on I realized there was water spreading all over the counter. When I lifted the jar to inspect what was happening a whole section of glass broke loose. It was like a drain plug released and the whole contents of the jar gushed out. It was a huge mess of water and grounds. I have never seen a glass jar break like that. Im guessing the glass just had a weak spot from an imperfection in the glass. The ironic thing is “Durable” is right there in the name but this particular jar is not. As far as I know the filter and lid are still good but now I need a jar to use with them. As for the filter and the lid, both are good quality and easy to clean. I needed a bottle brush to scrub the inside of the filter because it’s too long and skinny to reach in there with my hand. The mason jar would be easy to clean as well because the opening is big enough for me to get my hand in there to scrub it with a sponge. I think this would be a good cold brew system if it weren’t for the broken jar. I will get a new jar and try again.

This is an excellent portable coffee press flask. While it might not keep your coffee very warm for extend periods, this is however a very easy to use and brew coffee on the go. The micro filter is perhaps the best damn filter you would ever use. It performs exceptionally well with coarse to medium grounds and I have also brewed some using slighter finer grounds as well and it had no issues filtering it. Only wished it would brew more than a cup and half of coffee at a time

  • I really like it. It's the perfect size for me and also the color matches the decor in my kitchen which is nice. I love the lil scoop it came with and reusable filter. So far it works great and makes my coffee pretty quickly. Glad I chose to purchase this and would definitely buy again. Worth the price.

  • The plung filter is too loose, it cannot properly filter coffee grit.

This coffee pot is perfect for those of us with small households. I want to remind everyone that if you are like me, I drink from coffee mugs which are not the same as CUPS (do they even make 1 cup coffee cups anymore???). Having said that, my regular coffee mug holds the equivalent of just under two cups from the coffee maker (when making coffee just for me, I first fill the mug with the water and transfer it to the water chamber in the pot; filled to the top of the mug as I take my coffee black). I love the warmer feature (2 hours) when making more coffee and the fact that the coffee maker shuts itself off after two hours. Great little pot for the price.

I am the type of person that can’t start the day without a good cup of coffee, and I also enjoy the occasional espresso in the afternoon to get a boost of energy. I also (kind of) refuse to make a huge line and pay an exorbitant amount of money for a cup of coffee just because it has a creative name or because they have a store on every corner. So, as you can imagine, I’ve been in the market for a good coffee maker with the perfect balance of quality and price. I know that there are many coffee makers capable of doing regular coffee as well as espresso, but the good ones are either too expensive (VERY) or too complicated to operate. I’ve been looking for the happy medium and I found it with the TrueBrew from De’Longhi! Easy to set up, lots of videos on the De’Longhi page to help with the assembly and operation and, once everything is ready to go, the results are amazing! The grinding of the coffee is short and not as loud as other machines I’ve tried. The menu is simple and intuitive to operate, and the options go from cup size (3 oz to 24 oz), strength (light, gold and bold) and it even has the alternative to do coffee over ice and use a by-pass cup to make coffee with already-grinded coffee. Maintenance and clean-up are simple to do. In the past, I’ve had some coffee makers that will only let you do clean-up on some parts but most of the inner workings are sealed, therefore making a complete cleaning close to impossible. Overall, For a reasonable price, this machine is a homerun. I am very happy with my decision to get my hands on this beauty!
